Indestro and DuroChrome were made by the same manufacturer and sold at Sears, Montgomery Wards, and Western Auto starting in the 1930's. Found this on a web site called alloy artifacts. And love the haul George thanks for the vid.
Thanks Ken! I couldn't think of who made DuroChrome for the life of me! All that would come to my mind was the Auto parts store. I really am grateful to all you guys for helping me out. Take care Buddy see ya soon.
Thanks! I don't usually keep them but they do go in the good not keeper bin. I know I put it in the wrong pile during the video. Thanks for checking out this week's haul. take care.
I do love those metal boxes George - that one would clean up rather well I think. Also, I like that big old Williams double box offset wrench. It is begging for a cleanup ! 😁
Thanks Mr. Bill! I don't know exactly what I'm gonna do with the box yet. I know I seem to keep buying them! I'm sure I'll do a big tool clean up as soon as the weather gets a bit cooler. Take care see ya soon!

A great value if not a diverse haul. Hope your family has a great Labor day weekend and y'all are enjoying this little bit cooler weather! Have a super week!!
Hey Patrick! It was just one of those weird days..not much variety at the market a lot of crafts. Thanks I hope you get to enjoy your weekend . Have a good week too. 4 day work weeks are always rough for me I feel like I'm staring out a day behind. See ya soon.

Thanks Richard. Ya that Breaker bar is nice and it'll go with my SK collection..I just wish I collected Snap-on and the Mac was a cool find ..Don't see it much here. Take care and see ya soon.
Great job on your acquisitions! I didn't make it to our labor day flea markets, but as you saw I did do well with the tool box. Thanks for sharing your haul with us and see you next time!
Nice score on the wrenches, but I think the Craftsman box was worth the money, be fun to put together a Craftsman set to go with that box. Thanks for the update George, enjoyed watching.
Thanks Terry! That box is cool and I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet. I'm gonna have to see what all I got kicking around the shop or honestly it might go to my Buddy..He's more of a Craftsman guy. take it easy Buddy!
George, maybe a bench clamp gooseneck lamp would aid in identifying tools. It changes everything, believe me! They even have ones like the jewelers use with a magnifying lens.
Hey !George vraiment de belles trouvailles, les douilles sont magnifiques et les clés à cliquet aussi. Les autres clés sont pas mal. Même le prix est avantageux. ❤
Great score George!!! $25 well spent!!! All of that metal in one spot might cause a polar shift!!! Good luck with your future ventures!!!! The Old Army Scout…

Awesome haul sir! You done way better than I did! I didn’t find one tool that wasn’t marked up new price. I did see a $15 vise. It was missing the handle and the anvil to the little horn/heel on the vise was split into 😂. Yeah I left it for someone else. Have a great week! Take care!

George I double checked my memory at Alloy Artifacts Duro and Indestro since the 1930’s have been basically the same company. Nice haul, I am going to steal your line about those silly wrenches “a waste of time”. I always seem to get those in wrench flats or tools box hauls. Love the Williams Super Ratchet, next to S-K ratchets they are my favorite. Have a good Labor Day!
Thanks for the info Chris! Those wrenches are just the goofiest things and yes they are always in the flats.. A while back I ended up with a whole set of them. I put them in a tool lot and sold them.. The guy that picked up the tools was like "you can keep these" and I said "Nope you gotta take those too" LOL! The williams was pretty sweet and you know I love the SK. Take care and have a great rest of the weekend Buddy!
Another really great haul George. That craftsman box would make a great project. Those Duro chrome were good tools. Not fancy but quality. Info says in the 70s they merged with Indestro. Some of those tools are in "hardly used" condition. You could sell a few and make your money back and still have a nice pile of good tools. Hoe you and your family enjoy this Labor Day weekend. Take it slow and easy my brother!
Mike,Mike,Mike! I'm not sure what I'll do with the box yet..I'm not the Craftsman guy. I swear that Duro-Chrome sounds like an Auto store brand. LOL. A lot of these tools will go in the resell or trade bins. Hope you are having a good Holiday weekend as well and we'll see ya soon Brother Take care!
Don't' know a ton about Duro-Chrome, but I do know they have been around for 100 +/- years and they were associated with Industro. That's about all I can remember. I don't think it's a big retailer brand. Sweet Proto locking pliers! Awesome haul brother, enjoyed the video.

Hey Brother! It was crazy that day there weren't a lot of tools at all.. a craft fair must have been cancelled because all the crafters were at the market. I think the tool vendors were just happy someone was looking for tools.. and wanted to get outta there.
