I'm sixty-four years old. My earliest memories of life involve my mother talking with other women at night when I was supposed to be going to sleep. To this day, when I listen to women talking about "nothing", my mind relaxes and becomes very comforted, and I get sleepy. So it is with your ASMR videos. In addition, I have ADD which I have learned to manage well. Your ASMR videos are "multi-modal", and so it makes "focusing" a peaceful, single plane experience for me..
TRUEl sea glass,in its natural form actually tends to look more like a tree, because it is caused by lightning striking the beach and melting the sand into glass. And it is feasibly possible someone "broke" them and then tumbled them to make more pieces, but in the purest form it is truly difficult to find and is why it is more expensive...not sure anyone will read this, as it is an older post, nor if anyone cares. but thought I would share info anyway :-) still beautiful and certainly "tingle worthy" : thank you for sharing.
I watch asmr videos to fall asleep when it's getting late, I just spent 40 minutes watch this women make a candle. Do I have any regrets? Not nearly enough to stop watching the rest of the video
Excellent video yet again. Your intuition and deductive reasoning on the sea glass is correct also. As an avid beachcomber and collector of sea glass, agates, fossils, shells, and such, along the entire West Coast, that batch is clearly artificially produced. I've actually made some like that in a tumbler. The uniformity of the colors (you never find a lot of blue for example, mostly green and clear, only occasionally a blue piece), gives it away, and also the shapes not rounded enough for the most part, but it is still colorful and eye pleasing, regardless. And a great find at the price in any case. Those little shells are natural and you do a great job describing their amazing patterns and miniature wonders they are. Nice poem!
Something I always loved was inaudible whispers, whispers of just random words that's just quiet enough so that we can't distinguish the words. I love it, hopefully you might consider this! Love the video
Aaah you are my favourite, not just for your tingle tasting voice but your friendliness and warmth shines through in all your videos. Amazing, thank you :) x
That first bag (the blue airtight one) sounds SO GOOD! I love that squishy, tight sound. Odd - the other two are more crinkly. Which is nice, but so common and generic.
I just have to say that this is one of the most beautiful and relaxing ASMR vids I have experienced. Thank you so much. You obviously put a lot of thought into it.
Love your voice, especially how it sometimes goes up a notch when are speaking a long sentence and need air. Instant tingle. And ofc beautiful as usual. Your kid will hate when his friends all suddenly begin wanting to come visit, and for some reason wants to hang out with you.
Allie, that candle making set from AVON is so vintage no wonder it smells like nice elderly lady! Anyway, love your videos! My mom's been selling AVON since I was little, that's why I know that that candle making kit is vintage! The scents are probably vintage AVON scents!
seriously, as someone else mentioned, you are so quirky. Its awesome, I think it plays a role in how awesome you are at ASMR. Truly one of my favorites. And much agreed on AmalzD. Thank you so much for all of ur work!
+Mark Mullins NO HE MEANS THE WORLD WILDLIFE FOUNDATION! THERE IS NOTHING MORE RELAXING THAN A PANDA HITTING ANOTHER PANDA OVER THE HEAD WITH A STEEL CHAIR!
Perfect! Love the soft crinkly plastic bags. My favourite trigger :) Really relaxing and soothing video and such great sound quality. And soooooo long! Thank you for this.
Your voice is mega tingly and perfect! Loved you making the candle - great idea! Little spoon is so sweet, and showing us the little shells n' glass - so nice, and beautifl poem! Thanks so much. x
I love asmr craft stuff like this. It’s so tingly and simple and I’m always genuinely interested in how the product will turn out(for better or worse XD)
Was sitting here enjoying all my tingles and suddenly felt like there was something familiar about this video. And then I realised we have the same bed! Yay for Ikea!
To make zigzags all you have to do is make the layers and then grab a cocktail stick (if that's what you call them in the us) and poke it through the layers and it should make the upper colours zigzag into the other ones. I used to do sand art and that's how I did it :) great video xxxxxxx
Well, rule number two says "The item(s) must be something I'll make use of in my life for the foreseeable future, aside from use in the video." so hopefully none. She also can trade the stuff in after a certain time.
I work in a factory which is incredibly loud. Even though I don't pay too much attention to what she says, the sounds and the way she talks is very soothing.
Omg! I had one of those when i was younger and funny enough, Avon is where it came from. Watching the little dots melt slowly and then throw some dots at the flame to watch those melt was one of the most mesmerizing thing EVER. PS: No, i don't go around setting people and buildings on fire...except that one guy but that was an accident!
I loved this video! It reminded me of when I was a kid and my mom would make her own candles. She would make these really cool ones that I guess are called ice candles because you would put bits of ice in the wax to create little gaps here and there. So I looked it up and you can get an ice candle kit from Michael's. You can also get those wax crystals from hobby lobby, other than that I'm not sure. Hope this helped!
We have dippin dots here in Australia, it's usually a lucky find cause they're usually around quite expensive marketplaces or festivals. We have something called eat street here, in Brisbane. I love going when we can, even though I have Misophonia (you're the only asmr channel I really connect with, for some small delicate sounds and relaxing states) which means that i feel enraged by eating sounds, cutlery scraping plates, sniffling and mostly other saliva sounds etc (somehow you get away with the whispering and I stay and watch until i trigger and have to move away from the video). Though when the family goes, I love having dippin dots there as well as many other scrummy foods.
The bean thing.. I know exactly what you mean! At the pet store here they have a big barrel of cat litter, and ever since i was little i'd love to dig my hands into it and feel it and play with it. I loved it and still do *-*
While in the Middle East I bought some sand art from a local vender...they can put camels, pyramids, stars, all sorts of neat stuff in these tiny little bottles. I've move about 5 times since so the camels are in rough shape but they're still pretty awesome.
While I do love the regular posting, I do prefer your role plays (with or without the special effects) and can't wait to see your new scifi post! :-D Though I really do like the regular posting!
i used to make candles when i was little, with the help of my mother of course & i had so much fun. i would say that you can still find the candle supplies at a craft store like michaels or dees or jo anns
I'm pretty sure those perfect triangles scattered though are abrasive stones used to make the tumbling more random. It doesn't affect the tingles though!
I believe that those triangular stones in the "sea glass" collection are actually used in the process of making the glass frosted. The glass tumbles around in a big drum filled with small particles (possibly sand), and those triangular stones are used to soften the edges of the glass so it's safe to touch.
I'm sure you have them in England, they're secondhand stores basically. They carry used items (books, electronics, knick-knacks, household items like mirrors, furniture..) and sometimes new or old-but-unused items that people donate cause they don't want them anymore. Items in thrift stores are usually really cheap. Also, a lot of times, people donate stuff that they've owned for years so you can find a lot of neat stuff that you'd never see in today's stores like vintage games, jewelry, clothes
If you listen to every opening of her Thrifty Thursday you'd know that she actually uses these items. And I like how you put five dollars dollars, because that makes you sound incredibly smart.

I never knew this, that's interesting. I've always thought sea glass was neat but I never thought about how it could occur naturally in nature.

Im an 18 year old boy and i just spent an hour watching a girl make a candle, and I loved it
I love this video, I can't believe it was done in 2013 and I'm just finding it now, great video, love your soft soothing voice
I really love her sleepy voice...love how she makes the simplest of things so interesting. Keep up the awesome work Ally!!

you have a perfect voice for ASMR. I don't know if its practice or you're just natural.
im loving the thrifty thursday series :) so glad you are making these frequent videos between your more high tech roleplays :D
These series' have become something I look forward to every week.
Aaah you are my favourite, not just for your tingle tasting voice but your friendliness and warmth shines through in all your videos. Amazing, thank you :) x
*looks at her homemade awesome candle* 😆
IM SO PROUD!
That first bag (the blue airtight one) sounds SO GOOD! I love that squishy, tight sound. Odd - the other two are more crinkly. Which is nice, but so common and generic.

You seriously get the best items from your thrift shops!! Always makes me smile when I see a video from you!!
The sound of that lighter reminds me of my weed burning. Really enhances the ASMR experience.
Lol best ASMR comment ever
Awe! Avon always reminds me of my grandmother. She used to sell it when I was a kid. I used to love all the different scents.
Your excitement over making the candle is adorable. Hehe. Thank you for the tingles!
Allie, that candle making set from AVON is so vintage no wonder it smells like nice elderly lady! Anyway, love your videos! My mom's been selling AVON since I was little, that's why I know that that candle making kit is vintage! The scents are probably vintage AVON scents!

The colors look like a sunset over the ocean. Very pretty :)
I FIND THIS WAY MORE RELAXING THAN WATCHING WWF
Lol
+Mark Mullins NO HE MEANS THE WORLD WILDLIFE FOUNDATION! THERE IS NOTHING MORE RELAXING THAN A PANDA HITTING ANOTHER PANDA OVER THE HEAD WITH A STEEL CHAIR!
Perfect! Love the soft crinkly plastic bags. My favourite trigger :) Really relaxing and soothing video and such great sound quality. And soooooo long! Thank you for this.
I love how that little tiny spoon keeps appearing on these videos! Gives it kind of the Asmrrequests signature
I'm loving these videos every week. Very relaxing and just what I need. Thank you Ally!!
Your voice is mega tingly and perfect! Loved you making the candle - great idea! Little spoon is so sweet, and showing us the little shells n' glass - so nice, and beautifl poem! Thanks so much. x
I get so excited whenever a new vid is uploaded. WOOT!
LONG LIVE ALLY, THE BEST ASMR ARTIST!
This, like all your other work, is truly wonderful. I'd like to thank you for all the relaxation that you have provided me with. :)
After a stress full day I love watching these videos to relax and it works thank you
You and Heather Feather tuck me in pretty much every night. Thank you thank you thank you! The two of you give me so many tingles
That candle reminds me of the ocean and how much I miss it this is so much fun!!!
I love asmr craft stuff like this. It’s so tingly and simple and I’m always genuinely interested in how the product will turn out(for better or worse XD)
I'm really enjoying you thrift store finds. Thank you so much for the relaxing videos :)

Your videos are so consistently brilliant, Thank you.
I love that this was uploaded on my birthday.
"and I was like 'what's that.. I've never head of that'" made me lol :)
Was sitting here enjoying all my tingles and suddenly felt like there was something familiar about this video. And then I realised we have the same bed! Yay for Ikea!
Allie, you are amazing. Thanks for all the effort you put into these videos.
Yayyyyyy! My favorite day of the week! You are so fabulous.
Thank you, thank you!!! I can't wait to check those out. :D
I wish there were more people like you in the world.
Love ur videos! The idea is so unique and it works
Awesome, time to get cozy and relax. Perfect for a rainy day like today. Thanks Ally!
i love how your so creative and fun :3 your hands down my favorite ASMR person
Clever and inconspicuous way to distribute Mr White's product!
lmao I still stick my hands in the beans at the grocery store
Ha-ha, good times! I just haven't been to the grocery store in a while, that's why I haven't done it...but that day is comin'!
I love it when there's little or zero background noise.
You're in beast mode with these videos! There's a new one pretty much every time I check. Thank you much ^,^
To make zigzags all you have to do is make the layers and then grab a cocktail stick (if that's what you call them in the us) and poke it through the layers and it should make the upper colours zigzag into the other ones. I used to do sand art and that's how I did it :) great video xxxxxxx
Meg Fangirlxo they are normally called toothpicks here.
Just imagine all the random shit she must have lying around in her house after doing this every Thursday
Well, rule number two says "The item(s) must be something I'll make use of in my life for the foreseeable future, aside from use in the video." so hopefully none. She also can trade the stuff in after a certain time.
Merlin Matthewson ㄩㄖ
She donates something at the same time she buys stuff though. Although sometimes she buys more items than she donates that week.
That's awesome, thanks for sharing that! :D The box it came in looked like a prop that would be in the background of a John Hughes movie.
You ate so much fun to watch and listen to! Love you!
This new video schedule is awesome!
I work in a factory which is incredibly loud. Even though I don't pay too much attention to what she says, the sounds and the way she talks is very soothing.
I've never seen Thrifty Thursday before and I love the idea! This video was so relaxing :)
You are so creative and likable; not to mention more relaxing than the best 20 seconds of episode 2 of Firefly. =) ?
12:33 Ms. Miracle is that you?!?!?!
😂 I noticed that too!
I love thrifty Thursdays :)
Very pretty candle! :] It definitely reminds me of sand-art, too!
The box reminds me of what the boxes of blank VHS tapes looked like from the 90s
I look forward to your Thrifty Thursday video every week! This was another great one :-)
Another amazing video! Always puts me to sleep and i love that shirt! :)
We have dippin dots here in Australia, it's usually a lucky find cause they're usually around quite expensive marketplaces or festivals. We have something called eat street here, in Brisbane. Though when the family goes, I love having dippin dots there as well as many other scrummy foods.
I love sea glass. Whenever I go to the beach in Nantucket I always look for them! One time my brother found a large piece of red sea glass.
Such a great idea you continue to inspire
You should get a shallow bowl, put the sea-glass into it and use it to house the candle. Thanks for the video. Really helped me a lot.
The bean thing.. I know exactly what you mean! At the pet store here they have a big barrel of cat litter, and ever since i was little i'd love to dig my hands into it and feel it and play with it. I loved it and still do *-*
youre the best ASMRtist and i love you!
That was a great score that candle kit!
Magic, everytime, keep up the good work!
While in the Middle East I bought some sand art from a local vender...they can put camels, pyramids, stars, all sorts of neat stuff in these tiny little bottles. I've move about 5 times since so the camels are in rough shape but they're still pretty awesome.
2024! Still watching, miss your soft asmr rambles, hope all is well
Of course now we also need Salmon Sundays!
There used to be a dip n' dots in my mall as well but now I think it's a salon. I actually really enjoyed that ice cream lol.
Your video was published on my birthday! Hell yeah!
While I do love the regular posting, I do prefer your role plays (with or without the special effects) and can't wait to see your new scifi post! :-D Though I really do like the regular posting!

I'm pretty sure those perfect triangles scattered though are abrasive stones used to make the tumbling more random. It doesn't affect the tingles though!
I love all your silly comments in this during this video :3 your always so adorable.

The glass tumbles around in a big drum filled with small particles (possibly sand), and those triangular stones are used to soften the edges of the glass so it's safe to touch.
Love your videos, its like watching bob ross but with candles lol
One of the most beautiful poems I've ever heard. Maybe the most. And videos. And persons (Ally).
Consistently brilliant, I like that. And you sure aren't wrong.
Another beautiful video! Me and my tingly scalp thank you! :)

I think the little wooden scoop should be named due to the fact that is becoming a regular character.
I miss thrifty Thursday ❤️
Excellent!! One of my favorites :) thank you!
Great tank top and video. :) always a pleasure to watch and listen to you.
If you listen to every opening of her Thrifty Thursday you'd know that she actually uses these items. And I like how you put five dollars dollars, because that makes you sound incredibly smart.
wonderful Ally, much gratefulness & good vibes your way (in june 2019), a masterpiece :)
This video was all I needed to subscribe
I'm new to your channel but OMG!! You are awesome. Nuff said. :)
