Hello, my fellow Tingleheads! It's been quite a while since my last Thrifty Tingles video, and a lot of you have been requesting I bring it back...so I listened! I hope you enjoy tonight's video, in which I experience one of my infamous and majestic Thrifty Fails. This kit is supposed to allow you to make delicious, muffin-shaped and -scented candles. What transpires is a bit of a travesty. Enjoy! :D

+ASMRrequests Oh wow, I am laughing my butt off here. Not at you one tiny bit. It's the Candle Magic kit. I started playing around with those around 1996. Dang pics on the box are like Pinterest is now.. the end results are rarely the same as in the pic. Heh heh. The following year, I started ordering candle making supplies through mail order. Then I got internet access in '98. My candle, wax melt, soap, body care and home fragrance business is still going strong. Thanks for relaxing me at the same time as reminding me how far I've come. When I get frustrated with something I'm making now, I just think back to my "olden days." rofl :)
Thrifty Tingles was my first ASMR video EVER. It was a brush set if I'm not mistaken. Glad to have come back to square one :D

+Bonfire Keeper James she made a video called 'FX Make - Up Artist Role Play' which involved some face brushing and also she says the word stipple several times, so much so the comments were mad at her because it got annoying, you're welcome :3
+suckmytoex Nah, stipple isnt annoying, its amazing! I remember she used to have requests for her to do a video with her only saying the word "stipple" over and over again. Theres just something about the way she says it, kind of like heather feathers "sk sk sk". We're still waiting Ally!

I'm so glad Thrifty Tingles is back!
I know many people love roleplays, but they don't do much for me, and a lot of ASMR channels seem to focus on them these days. So when videos like this come out, I watch them over and over :-)

I am SO HAPPY to see a thrift tingles video. Those and the time travel videos are what hooked me on Ally. My first recollection of ASMR is from cooking, being read stories and doing crafts with my grandmother, and these videos take me to that same place. The newer videos are extremely impressive, but they don't give me ASMR quite like the simple videos.
YESSS!!! Lately I have been re-watching all of you old thrift store videos! They are so interesting, tingly, simply the best "entertainment" for relaxing right after work! Thanks for filming another and please never stop filming them! :D

that would be my greatest nightmare q.q foam noises to me equal the phrase "nails on a chalkboard." I've never actually heard of anyone who enjoys that noise. that's really interesting

I personally like the roleplaying ones better, mainly the one in the beach (the waves sounds are so good) but any video from you is great. I literally have grown accustomed to your voice before sleep. Please keep up with your great work!!

I'm glad you did another thrifty video, I like the balance of high tech role plays that I try to stay awake through and chilled out chatty videos like these ones :) I also hope that alternating between the high production videos and the "easier" ones gives you a bit of freedom too!

That's such a smart idea. I go to thrift stores all the time. And I always make sure I've gotten rid of at least as much as I buy. And those candles are adorable. They'd make great gifts (if it works, I haven't watched all the way through yet. I'm commenting first because I know me, and I may fall asleep before it's over).

I watched this the other day, but fell asleep half way through. How ever, I was so curious as to how this all worked out, so I came back tonight to watch the other half. And I kid you not, I am laughing out loud. It just got funnier and funnier, as you messed it up more and more! And the magical touch with the sticky glaze at the end?
