- Hello, fellow Tingleheads! On this week's Time Travel Tuesday, we head back to the '80's, when candy cigarettes and bubblegum tobacco weren't considered a "gateway" to anything but a good ol' time! This week's winner was Big League Chew, the sugary, shredded bubblegum of baseball lovers young and old!

This was one of the first ever ASMR’s I discovered. I remember I was younger (I don’t remember the exact age), and I was watching a candy video. I wanted to watch more gum review so I looked it up and this showed up. This video got me into ASMR and I don’t regret it.

did u know that Ace ventura had some of that Big League Chew. He chewed a huge wad of it and actually saved it in the gum wrapping in his beat up car. This is the 1st part and not the sequel "When Nature Calls"

As for a favorite toy, I was a kid during the late 80's and early 90's, so it was all about GI Joe and Ninja Turtles.

we used to get a bag of this gum after ever ball game in little leagues, they even gave it to us in travel league too. I loved this gum. I still get it every once in a while.

My favorite toy was during my preteen years (3rd grade through 7th grade). It was a cassette tape recorder. I played with that thing so much, it drove my parents crazy. I would record anything and everything around me. (I even recorded myself peeing in the toilet once.....LOL)

Jim Bouton was a pitcher who, due to injuries, became a knuckleballer in the late 1960's and retired in 1970. He attempted a comeback in 1975 and spent time in the minors with Portland, where he met Nelson and they created Big League Chew. You had great info- just figured I'd fill in some of your blanks there. Ball Four is one of my all-time favorite books!

legos! i still remember when they came out with the first theme sets with pirates, sharks, parrots and monkeys. seeing facial hair and an eye patch on a lego person was unheard of.
