So glad that they are airing these Gunsmoke episodes on MeTV now. It was on too late for me to watch as a kid, but I really enjoy the show now, and see why it was a favorite of my dad.

Well, he brought me back of brass spurs that I wore with gold chains holding them around my ankles, high-heel shoes and blue jeans. They jangle just fine to this day! (and that was in the mid-70's)

Chester ended up removing a Bullitt from Doc and saving his life by providing liquid protein nourishment to sustain Doc after the Bullitt was removed. Chester had to shoot Doc's horse to provide that.

There is an online site dedicated to Ken where they've published a final farewell to his family, friends, and fans. It is very touching and made me cry. Something tells me that Mr. Curtis was definitely touched by an angel with his talent and his big heart 😇
