José Carreras, Plácido Domingo, and Luciano Pavarotti were joined by conductor Zubin Mehta, the L.A. Philharmonic, and the L.A. Music Center Opera Chorus at Los Angeles's Dodger Stadium for this legendary concert, preceding the 1994 World Cup.

Plácido Domingo y José Carreras tienen una voz inigualable pero Pavarotti es el gran tenor, toda una leyenda!
Tal cual, aunque en lo personal me gustó más que nada como la cantó carreras.
This is my favorite by far of theirs. They look like they are having so much fun and it really shows of Carreras' vocals which mostly get overshadowed. He is outstanding in this opera. Unbelievable performance by all. The way they all come together at the end is spectacular!! When Carreras joins Placido with the finale it's magic!

All the comments about preference and who is the greatest show exactly why this collaboration was so remarkable. Three major tenors singing together was unheard of before Carreras, Domingo, and Pavarotti did this. In welcoming Carreras' return after he nearly died of leukemia and in celebrating the soccer games they all adored, they created a new forum that expanded the reach of opera, made them wildly successful, and gave us concerts for the ages.

That ending sends chills down my spine every time. The way they did it, starting from Placido Domingo and ending all 3 at once with great power is amazing.
My Italian side can't help but scream in times like this. The Three Tenors singing are like three birds upon a tree making fun of all of us who can't fly like them lol. ♥ Amore!♥

Непонятно по какой причине я наткнулась на оперу. Но это счастливая случайность. У меня были неприятности на работе. Я не могла уснуть. Эта чудесная музыка на какой-то момент заставила меня позабыть о проблемах и унесла в совершенно другой мир Пересмотрела все выступления этого трио. Сказать , что я в восторге, значит ничего не сказать. Бальзам на душу

I’m 12, so I’m sad I wasn’t born when Pavarotti lived, or when the 3 tenors performed. Luckily we have many recordings of them and I thank god for that.
