There are so many amazing riffs and solos in this song. This was the era (Rust In Peace - Countdown) that Megadeth was truley at the top of their game.
In between those eras specifically was their mainstream, and technical peak.

In relation to the competition between Megadeth and Metallica for being the top of the 4. Metallica stopped at black and we waited and waited for some decent music they never came through, black was it for them. Dave on the other hand is still Jamming his ass off. Their guitars sound so good. If you are a guitarist and have never played a Jackson, they are amazing. I know Dave plays Dean now which is also a fine instrument but I absolutely love Jacksons. People who have played them know what I'm talking about.

En realidad en esa época estaba en plena guerra con Billy Ray Cyrus que estaba en el puesto número uno, dejando a Countdown to Extinction segundo el las listas. Desde hollywood le dijeron que escribiera una canción para una película inicialmente llamada Bill & Ted go to hell, la primera versión no gusto por no ser lo demasiado oscura entonces Mustaine regrabo todo incluida la parte del rezo, luego de presentar de nuevo la canción cambiaron el nombre a Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey y la canción no quedó. Es una extraña coincidencia nada más.

Their time with Marty and Nick produced some of my favorite albums (I even liked Risk); a totally original sound.
