Dude, somebody found the whole thing. This rules! I've been watching a partial version of this video for years. Glad to see the performance in its entirety.
This song was originally released on the soundtrack for the second Bill & Ted movie. Dave has said he was told the title for the movie was "Bill & Ted Go to Hell" hence he wrote a song titled "Go to Hell" only to find out the title of the movie had been changed after the song was recorded. Great song though that sadly won't ever see another live performance.
This song was on Bill and Teds Bogus Adventure, which was released on, July 19 1991. And it was also written with the sole purpose of being the movie's "calling card" song. Hell, the movie was origionally supposed to be called "Bill, and Ted Go To Hell." The black album was released on August 13, 1991. They both however use the same prayer. No one has any "rights" to a prayer!!!!! Arguement settled. one last thing... ]V[EGADET]-[
I think this was Dave's best line up ever with Nick and Marty, although I really liked Chris and Gar too especially during peace sells. Nick is an amazing drummer!
25 years later (I first heard this song in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey), and I'm still headbanging to a far superior song than Metallica could EVER hope to write! And I'm a fan of BOTH bands!
@QuickXilver i think we all understood yor sarcasm, maybe hes not the best guitarist in the world, but his way of playing his agression, his lyrics and many more things are enough for me....
Rude Awakening is definatly a good one to recommend for the set list on the dvd and another good one is probably the Warchest dvd or live in Buenos Aries dvd.
They didn't play Five Magics that night. The first night they EVER played Five Magics live was March 1st, 2010, the first date of the Rust In Peace 20th anniversary tour.
I'm the 1000th person to like this vid! At the time of writing this, 20 people went to hell. Or heaven, because they weren't bad-ass enough to go to hell. Megadeth rules. 'Nuff sed. \m/
still one of my fav Megs performances.
+Rockchickbabe Dear lord Megs...Really?
you're amazing
This was such a 'crisp' sounding performance, everything was perfect. I'd love to see more from this show.
It's comforting to know that there are still people in the world as talented as Dave Mustaine.
Dave and Marty are an UNBELIEVABLE soloing attack combo !!!
"Now I lay me down to sleep...blah blah blah my soul to keep.
And if I die before I wake...I'll go to Hell for Heaven's sake!"
Fuck that's awesome.

Megadeth deserves to be in the rock and roll hall of fame. They have also put out some monumental albums over the years.

I think this was Dave's best line up ever with Nick and Marty, although I really liked Chris and Gar too especially during peace sells. Nick is an amazing drummer!
