Absolutely loved this video, that game was crazy, literally was anyone's game at different points, congrats to Christian for the win! But all four decks look really fun! Giving me ideas for my future self-constructed commander decks! :D
This was SUCH a tense game, everybody was scary and anybody could have won it! If you're interested in homebrew decks, we have some homebrew deck episodes, as well as all of our other commander content! (I think this was episode 15 now!!)
Lightning greaves gives shroud you could not target your commander with the retreat
I had to see if anyone else noticed this before commenting about it myself. Had to rewind even to make sure that it was Lightning Greaves because they kept calling them boots, and I thought maybe he grabbed Swiftfoot Boots.

2. I would not use counter magic against a two-mana ramp spell unless I was playing my Talrand, Sky Summoner Deck

Would I counter a 2 mana ramp spell? Hmmm....It depends. As a blue player, if that spell creates any joy or happiness for that player, I would. It's not that I don't want them to have fun or joy. It's more that as a blue player, I just want to take that fun and joy and use it for myself in a more efficient manner. You see, Blue players love having fun in magic. So much so, we take your fun as well. We are great people...

Christian, you inspired me to make a Yargle and Multani deck. Great episode as usual.
It's great fun! And not too expensive either! My list is in the description but if you take out the shockland it's like $70. The silent arbiter is a house! 😁

Cutting lands is a dangerous game, had my prosper down to 23 lands at one point and did a double take when I counted 😂
To be fair, Prosper is definitely the commander to go land-light with! How does the deck play? I'm used to dying turn 3 against it ahaha
@@TheChadMagic put it up to 34 lands and it's much more consistent now, but when it accidentally stormed off against Wally in the LGS it was 23 lands

So I did have greater good in the original list but decided I really wouldn't want to sac Yargle and Multani. I think it's a great shout though and was in the deck right up until my final cuts.
I had never seen Dragon Thone of Tarkir before but think it's awesome! I didn't run a very creature heavy version of the deck so wouldn't have been quite as good in mine but would be great I think in certain builds of the deck!

ever since having my harrow narsets reversaled, I have been terrified of having my ramp spells countered.
If I has a ramp spell countered, I would probably be saltier than the dead sea 😂 😂 😂
Also, I think I actually had 34 lands in there not the solid 25 😅 Sometimes you just don't get land 😂

@@TheChadMagic an easy thing to miss, especially with shroud not being used much anymore.
you also didn´t add the +1/+1 on goblin king so Wally shoulda take 2 extra damage from the last attack, So squee and slimefoot could use some of the damage on Christian and on his turn just win with by reanimating something
Yep we realised afterwards that Bailey had a line of play to win! So close to his first Chad Magic victory!
Tear Assunder is a very underrated card. It should see more play. Most of the time, it's gonna be cast for 2. But having the option to kick it makes it ridiculous
I run it in all my Green/Black decks! I love it when you find an underrated gem like this!

White is the best support colour. Almost every deck gets better when it has access to white. It even has card draw now. Mono white is still 3rd best though. Green and black are better.
What a vicious combination of cards with Yargle/Multani (does anyone really remember Multani rather than the meme Yargle?)

Time will tell but i feel like march of the machine has set a new bar for power level in the command zone.
yargle and multani is not a meme when it comes to voltron. Starting at 18 power represents a lot of equipment and auras other voltron decks would need to pay in cards and equip costs. The huge power matters payoffs like selvalla and the draw spells also require setup that yargle solves as well. Imo the deck is quite real:)
I think the power level goes up quite frequently! But I wonder with this being sort of a "wrap up" set for a few years of lore, did they up it just a little bit more!? Who knows hahaha
