To add to the Moira part, the Black Widow wanted poster mission adds some interesting dialogue to it. Once shes in the cage, the Black Widow lady starts telling the Sheriff she knows all about him and his dirty secrets with Miora. And he says leave Miora out of it.

I 100%'ed the game over a year ago and never once came acrosss any of the hornets nest!
Somethin Slix I was just going to write this same thing. Been playing since it came out went through 100% and I’ve never seen a hornets nest either. Or the 3 deer.
the hornet's nest can easliy be found as early as chapter 2, its just near the camp on a huge tree.

I stumbled upon them cuple of times while hunting for animals requested by taxidermists.
Same. I just hit the one year mark since I 100%’d and never knew they were in the game.
Incredible how i, having spent hundreds of hours on this game, completing it 5 times, exploring every part of the map, doing all sidequests, all challenges, all "inspection" sites, reaching 100% game completion, had never seen any of these.
Just shows how wonderful and rich this game is.
Guess they did steal the damn parrot...

Another thing about the chelonians in the desert looking for water with the stick is that in red dead 1 there was a side mission about a fellow who was looking to start digging for water in new Austin and he had the same stick n also said that the stick can summon water from underground. So that stick was a nice callback to that mission
He found water by Pleasance House, so close to the Chelonian camp. The irony.....
That was something people did in the west during those times too. So neat accuracy

Fallout 4 has a lot of stuff like that too. Most of the skeletons aren't placed randomly and tell a story about what those people were doing right before getting instantly nuclear irradiated

I once was deep in a small forest next to rhodes which is my “secret place” it’s really calming and isolated and only animals are lurking around to drink from the tiny water ponds in there. Then 2 bounty hunters found me there and I already laid traps (dynamite) for when they’d arrive and my traps worked succesfully and the 2 laid on the ground. A few days later irl I went back to that place and to my surprise I saw 2 skeletons there which were the bounty hunters’ . I was schocked as to how detailed this game was. They were decomposed beyond i’ve ever encountered in this game before.
I thought i should share this story.

@@turkeymcduckin7909 If the bodies are found by an NPC that reports them, sometimes law officials will collect them. You can see them loading dead bodies of other NPCs onto their horses and riding off with them. But if no one finds them to carry them off, then they decompose like any other body would in the game.
Actually, the two best ways to get rid of bodies so there are no evidence or someone finding them is either dumping them in the swamps, the gators will get them if they are around. Or, dump the bodies into a pig pen. The pigs will eat the body and leave nothing behind.
Damn, i've played this game for 1.5 years, i thought, i've seen all secrets and small stories. But i'm still wrong about it. Wow

Cris Tarez to be fair god of war is arguably a more flawless game. The combat and movement in red dead has some jank for sure. It was still insanely immersive at the time but I can definitely criticize it now for that reason

In my game, and I'm sure everyone else's. There are so many buck just lying around already dead, when I saw their carcuses I just dismissed it, but I was curious as to why I could skin them for their perfect hides. Then I heard wolves or coyotes nearby and figured that was that... I didn't bother to skin them though, they had black spots on them, so I figured they would rot away before I could travel to a town...
Bucks in rut will do some pretty crazy things.

Well the good thing is it’s better to die with others than die by yourself, even if you were fighting with them. if i had to die slowly, I would want to die slowly with my friends, maybe even enemies
I found a secret interaction with the chelonians in my recent play though. When Karen is getting beat up in the valentine hotel if you go downstairs across from the bath room instead of going upstairs you’ll see a man doing a weird ritual in front of the window. Then he’ll stop and explain he’s a Chelonia and asks you to join him and Arthur gets uncomfortable and says no. Also another interesting thing I found was that if you visit Seamus in emerald ranch and open the craft screen or just stand in front of him without talking he starts giving you lots of cryptic info. And the gunsmiths will give you their opinions on guns you don’t own by clicking triangle in the catalogue to “view” the guns. Each gunsmith has multiple dialogues for each gun but you can only hear one per visit and once you own the gun they won’t say anything.
What guns do they recommend tho?
I literally just found that guy for the first time a couple days ago.. on my 4th playthrough
The depth of this game is just breathtaking. There's still things to discover after all this time.

I already knew about Moira.
I found a hornet's nest by accident when looking for the "charms" to destroy in the Butcher's Creek side mission. I also recall finding the dead bucks once and thinking 'geez what the hell?!'.
Never heard about the parrot, the dead bucks' real life backstory and didn't notice the stick in the dead Chelonian camp.
If you shoot the door while the sheriff is arguing with his mistress, he'll reappear in front of the jail, and he'll still be inside, arguing with her

For some reason I was expecting the hornet's nest thing to lead into something like, "But what you don't know, is, if you destroy all the nests in this specific order during a full moon between midnight and 3 a.m., the Moth Man will appear and try to attack you for messing with his insect pals."

I found the nests a few days ago, I was like “woah what the hell?” I thought it was a badass detail rockstar added. If you get close the Hornets will surround your head and follow you for a good bit.

My daughter found a hornet's nest at Ringneck Creek. I was really surprised, as I've been playing since release and never saw one until she found one. The detail that Rockstar has put into this game still amazes me! Great video!

I’m a hunter and the dead bucks was crazy to see during my first play through because I have actually walked up on one dead buck with a live buck struggling to free his horns. My buddy and I help him get free. Crazy to see it in a game. So detailed

2: Being a hunter doesn't mean lacking respect for animals. I'm guessing from the fact that this guy and his friend helped that buck out of that situation that they would hunt respectfully, and not just murder animals for sport.
1:00 you can also find a lone dead buck and witness the death happen if you are lucky enough to see the buck "playing" by ramming horns it will occasionally end with one dead the reason is based in real life as sometimes they can kill each other during the encounter.... Its a great detail to see two stuck together dead.
