Inside the house, there is a loose wood plank on the second floor, when you turn right at the top of the stairs. It gets open and there is a lot of jewelry box inside the floor. But for some reason, you can't pick it up. Those boxes has some letters on it too.

@@Diggz24 oh bruh , then I'm sorry that guy and I made him spend his precious time reading smth he already knew. Didn't sense the sarcasm since I never heard about it, tho
The Pig farm is supposedly the best way to get money between Arthur and John. Story-wise, Arthur can remember that place, figure it'd be good for some last-minute cash either for himself or for the others to get them out, chalks up the loss to his consumption (old name for TB), but in the madness of the last days never has a chance to really get back. John reads about it in Arthur's journal and once he gets free-roaming, figures "hey at best I can get some money back, at worse I can at least avenge that mess and clear out some dangerous folk". Also it makes sense that there's rumors they were rich; for a family to be able to sit and have not one, but two portraits, and a photo at their own farm possibly takes some serious cash. The portraits mean time to sit, multiple days in a row, which on a farm that's not usually an option. I doubt the portraits are photo-based, as upscaling photos wasn't really an option until sometime after film became more widespread around the 1920s if I remember correctly? Otherwise, most photos were anything from a little smaller than a driver's license or around the same size (a little wider) than most modern smartphones. So yeah, family was rich till kiddos decided to get a little too handsy with each other, got told off, murdered family, probably either murdered or sent away any servants, fed the pigs, ate the pigs, now they lure in people, steal their money to pay bills and what not, possibly eat them, and get as handsy as they like. I imagine a lot of their money goes towards supplies to eat and drink well, with some maybe going towards local law enforcement to keep them from asking too many questions.
@@cvolante8032Brits are the ones with Inbreeding because they used to marry relatives too close . The others may marry within family, but at least 3rd or 4th cousin will be the closest.
Even if you don’t finish them off, someone else probably does. They don’t run away, if they did they’d take all the money they stole with them. Not only will Arthur be able to retrieve his money from the regular hiding place (if they robbed him), but there is also some (irretrievable) gold bars hidden under the floorboards on the upper level.
Also, before you confront them inside the house after the mass grave, you can enter a previously locked door on the outside of the house that is a Shine Shack. They have a little extra money in a lock box.
