Beautiful area of the country. "Who do" I think of? Mom and Dad! I'm 68 and have memories from as far back as 8 years old camping. I was blessed with Wonderful Parents and even some memories of 50-60 years later it's those shared with family & friends that warm my heart.
Love your adventures and doing so in young years will carry you through years of memories. In the end the sites were/are beautiful but it's doing so together you too will be profoundly glad you made memories together.
Thanks for sharing and know your journeys today have given me opportunity to revisit memories of my past. To my Mom and Dad, Arlene & Harold I am grateful. I miss them so.

National Parks are our National Treasure - Glad you made it to Capitol Reef - aye, def. underrated and under visited (which is a Good Thing - some of the biggies are getting a bit tired until you get off the main trails). I'm with y'all on Bryce vs Zion - I prefer going to Bryce first and then Zion, but, either way works well - Beautiful country way out West!

I was there in 2009. We didn't get to enjoy the paths. We were in a huge rush to see everything in Utah and Nevada before heading back east. We saw Mt. Rushmore, too. I enjoyed the video. Seeing the Hoodoos again brought back wonderful memories.

I actually got more out of Bryce and Capitol Reef than I did at Zion. Every time we've been to Zion the things we wanted to checkout were closed or too busy. The trails at Bryce were amazing to me. Capitol reef is so amazing, so quiet and you get a real sense of just being out in nature undisturbed.

And now, just possibly, I might be IN THE SAME STATE AS JIMMY & NATALIE! I'M SO STOKED! Made it to Utah Tuesday afternoon, five stops on Wednesday, then I-80 into Wyoming, hopefully by the evening. I drive just a bit further in a day than you guys do, but I'm being paid. I do serial sightseeing; I go past areas many times and notice things as I can. Jealous of being able to get the hiking in, though.

I live and travel full-time in my caravan (travel trailer). I like to have a shower every night before bed. My fresh water tank holds 130 litres and I work on using a maximum of 30 litres per day. Therefore I normally spend a maximum of 4 days in one spot. The good thing is that New Zealand is a LOT smaller than USA. Today I moved from one free camp spot to another one in a different bay. Total distance travelled........15km.

@@JimmyandNatalie New Zealand is a beautiful country with very varied scenery. In an hour and a half you can travel from the beach to the skifield. Most people from overseas under estimate how long it takes to really see the country......there is just so much to see and do. I am retired, so am not in any hurry, but will take several years to see everything I want to see.

Nice amd thank you for reinforcing, to me, that I wasn't a Zion NP snob over Bryce. If you're heading to Moab, there is an epic (as much daughter calls it) hike that's free, where you can see the Gateway Bridge Arch right off 191...maybe less than fives miles outside of Moab. Safe travels. Keep on smiling and laughing and joking

@@donaldnelson6198 In agreement! Also, along 191 just outside of Moab along the Colorado, there are camping spots, fee-based, but o e may be able to score a prime spot. Great recomme dating.

Not sure which route you took from Bryce to Capitol Reef. If you didn't take Route 12, then you literally missed one of the most beautiful drives in America. You should turn around and do it again... lol. There are so many incredible places between there and Canada. I'd just forget about Canada if I were you. 😄

We are so jealous you got to see a group rapell down from Cassidy Arch! We were reading there are like 6 rapells to get down into the canyon to make a loop. We also don't have the gear or feel ready for that. Great video!!

Take your time. Enjoy our beautiful country. Drove my Skoolie from Florida to New Mexico. Took a week. Lol. Stopped in New Orleans, Dallas, some parks. My new Skoolie on tops 65. So I took my time. $1100 in fuel. Ouch.
