We have an HP L7680 with just the black not working. The printhead has both yellow & black. The yellow works, not the black. Will these tips work in our case? Could we just run warm water over to clear the clog? The test report says the printhead is still good. Thanks
i have 4 toner cartridges and i have shook them and the print quality is awful it is a brother printer model HL-L3210cw can you tell me how to clean the heads
How to clean the nozzles of a dry printer cartridge in a 3 seconds. You need to immerse the printer cartridge halfway, nozzles down, for 2 - 3 seconds in boiling water, pull it out and wipe it. Let me explain: boiling water will slightly soak the dried paint and the internal pressure will “break through” and wash the nozzles with ink that is inside. True, the cartridge will “lose” some ink. If it still won't print, it means there is no ink in it.
Hello, I have the printhead version, so when I put it in the solution, is the solution suppose to cover the area we pulled the ribbon connections out from, or should we keep that dry?
Colour worked fine but black one is very stubborn, tried hot water, 99% alcohol, white vinegar ..nothing. i know the b*stard is full because I printed at most 20 pages with it
Happy..happy...happy eh? Well, 99% of the time, cartridges and printheads will NOT unclog without issues. You may unclog them but you will end up damaging both, especially the sensitive printheads that are also super-expensive. And the worst of all this? By the time you REPEATEDLY run cleanings, after the manual cleaning shown here, you will waste lots of ink ($$) and get nowhere.
Thanks! followed your advice, worked well. Don’t have to buy a new printer ‼️
Great to hear!

The printhead of Epson XP-4100 is removable. However, we suggest to ask technician to help if needed.

How do take the part in printer
Can you use regular rubbing alcohol?
Yes, you can use the regular rubbing alcohol.
Can I use soju instead of isopropyl alcohol? As soju is also alcohol?
We never tried soju to clean the print head so we are not sure if it will work.
@@CompAndSave thank you for your reply I will find another way

Is it just hot water without the need for alcohol ?
is the isopropyl alcohol 70% solution ?
Alcohol 70% will do the job.
Hello, I have the printhead version, so when I put it in the solution, is the solution suppose to cover the area we pulled the ribbon connections out from, or should we keep that dry?
The solution should only cover the nozzles at the printhead (normally at the bottom). The ribbon connection should not be covered in the solution.
didnt work bro
