I love this theme and think Toby Fox did a great job! Its uplifting sound is enough to distract me from the nightmare fuel the crystal walls produce when they reflect and magnify a small Pokémon’s eye to a disturbing degree.
I like how at the very beginning for like 5 seconds you can hear the Area Zero battle theme. I like that touch, Toby is incredible at working in songs from other parts of the game and he does it wonderfully here.
@@peach6648 I love this kinda stuff. It's something Toby is really really REALLY good at with his music, drawing themes to different elements of the game that are linked together purely by music. It's very powerful in Undertale of course, but it feels SOOOOO good here in pokemon because it does make it actually feel like the game's main mechanic is rooted very deeply to the game's story and climax (and recently we know its even impacting the DLC too, so its not just a one off kind of thing in the game that just exists to exist)
Dont forget yall: Yes, Toby had a big hand in composing this track and others. BUT, many other talented people were involved too! Especially in the production portion of things!!

@@Imperial8933Yeah. That fight was hard as balls. And that's with every Mew who enters the battle getting a boost to all stats for free out of the gate. Basically you need a good strategy, a level 70 - 80 Pokémon at least (it really helps if it's Mew) and to pray your teammates know what they're doing too (With no communication btw). And if you can help it don't faint even once. Mewtwo is so bulky that it puts you at a big disadvantage. My Mew took on the support role personally. Mainly using life dew and healing cheers to keep myself and the other Mews healthy. Because no one else would do it. It was stressful but I won eventually.

I don't know how, but i once glitched my face and my character just had a giant open smile 24/7, so i started a tera raid with the glitch active, and instead of the whole eye opening intro and the "looking at teammates" thing my character was just like "😀" the whole time

I love how cheerful this sounds compared to Gen 8's max raid theme. Which makes sense! In Gen 8, you and your teammates were battling against a massive, gargantuan titan of a Pokemon, one that could probably crush you if it wanted. The music in the background is foreboding, but also a little hopeful, as if you're saying, "We have to do this, we can't let this Dynamax Pokmeon escape from the den." But this one is so much better to me. It's uplifting, cheerful - perfect, considering you and your teammates are battling something much less intimidating. The music sounds like you're saying, "Come on! No holding back, we can win this! No, we _will_ win this!"

Lowkey the final boss leitmotif in here makes sense now, I didn’t realize it was foreshadowed because I never did the Tera raids until after the final boss (I did Violet btw, not that it really matters). The beginning theme is probably the Terastralize lietmotif
I finally realized that this reminds me of Arc Rise Fantasia’s boss battle theme. Not the most memorable game, but its OST had some bangers. As for this, easily my favorite theme of the entire game!

It's just Turo/Sada theme in major not minor and I don't hate it. That being said there are differences that help this one have it's own Identity!

I can't listen to this without Mewtwo's cry and Psystrike sounding off in my head.
I finally realized that this reminds me of Arc Rise Fantasia’s boss battle theme. Not the most memorable game, but its OST had some bangers. As for this, easily my favorite theme of the entire game!
I can easily imagine this theme in Sonic Adventure 2 somehow.
