- It's time to give my Pure800 equipped Stage 3 M140i a first drive!! I head straight from Pure Turbos in Belgium, to some of Germany's derestricted autobahn, where we ultimately reach 300km/h!!

There’s other ppl with cooler builds than this... one guy with a 1000hp m140i and a custom manifold that makes it sound like a 2jz and another 1000hp m140i build both in uk... these 700hp builds are quite common on m140i’s now jus slap a hybrid turbo on do some tuning an supporting mods and ur there this isn’t rlly anything special compared to the 1000hp builds

Damn, we were doing 185mph at bruntingthorpe (1.5 mile straight) back in 2000 with 2-litre Sierra cosworths....
Man i didnt dare push over 150 mph in my Stage 1 GTI Clubsport yet.. The vibrations i get even in a German car. It also got bit of downforce from front and rear wing. I cannot imagine the vibrations in 2000'isch Cosworths! Though legendary moments i presume! 😄

Luke,you've pushed the boundaries again, how this thing munches through the gears is astonishing, the big thing for me is the fact you have all this power,and it does not sound like an tractor, the tone is deep but morish,it's quite the transformation you've gone through with this car Luke,and a bloody great one at that too....

So having been glued to your channel recently I was watching back some old videos just interested to no what mpg your getting on the 140 now it’s tuned I remember you getting about 34mpg when you first had it

I don't think the gearing allows for 200 tbh, but power wise yes it can.

Does the car not feel floaty and unstable at those speeds? Big criticism was of m140i's/m135i's is how they feel at high speeds but then again you've done some handling and suspension mods
I have an M140i that i push to +180mph from time to time, on regular suspension it was floaty, now i have the Bilstein B16 coilover kit and rhe underbody V brace. It’s waay better now. But still not what i would call rock solid
@@TheTranfan yeah was planning on getting an M140i and was making a list of handling/suspension mods before I started throwing more power at it
@@dazajmal4960 lsd, coilovers, brakes, M4 lower control arms, v brace, subframe bushes. That’s about it
With a subframe and diff bushes plus a vbrace and some sort of lowering would make the rear end plush.

I do like these cars came close to getting one and selling my golf MK6 R but truth is British weather isn’t grate we only get a little bit of summer and being RWD it’s just shite for B round handling,there just a straight line car,the golf MK6 R is everything,straight line B roads and seriously fun,but at some point i gotta have a 140i just so iv had one coz they can be made to look dope
I wouldn't have bothered with the wrap, I would have spent that money on the suspension and brakes first. Be interesting to know total cost spent so far. I reckon 30k car, and about same again on mods.

im driving that part of the autobahn weekly. I live in aachen and my dad in cologne. But the 5 series goes "only" to 245kmh. At night i drive that 60km in less than 20 minutes and 30€ of fuel ._.

100-200 time is 7,4 seconds in the video? I’ve seen people hit that on the stock turbo mate.

@@ScottZ370 it'll be way quicker than 7.4 on his ethanol map, he did about 10 pulls back 2 back intake temps would been through the roof easy lose a second

Any mods to the transmission or brakes to cope with the extra power? If not, it’s amazing what the stock system is capable of achieving.
Stock transmission apart from a gearbox map, and 6 pot BBK

Do you have the factory rubber engine mounts or Billet/Poly bush mount? Cause with that much power and torque I would imagine the engine will be dancing on the factory mounts!

This isn't 730bhp. You aren't fooling me or any other car enthusiast Luke. There is a 660bhp M140i xdrive on autotop NL and 100-200 did a 5.96 which your car doesn't come even close to same numbers.
I bet poor Ben was nowhere to be seen😂
