What an incredible location. The bunker is in such good condition. It looks like it could be used for a museum perhaps. Thank you for taking us with you.
Kudos for you and your son. So good to see a father with a son enjoying the thrill of exploration. You are doing a good job showing him the correct way to explore and not destroy. Happy Trails
That bunker is just incredible! The size of the structure is amazing and the engineering that went into it is remarkable, indeed. I can't imagine what it would have been like living and working in there. The paint on the walls really adds something to it. Thanks so much for sharing this adventure with us all. Just outstanding!
I bet that all the equipment in those rooms just shined and the walls and floors were clean, clean, clean. Man I would love to see photos of that bunker when it was in use. What a wonderful adventure. Thank you
Go to Kristiansand Canon Museum in Norway (after lockdown of course :-) Great museum run by friendly volunteers and they still have the gun (Norwegians kept it in service for a few more decades) Amazing place.
Wow, I can say I never expected to ever see a bunker that Incredibly big and on top of all that, to see that it was painted and tiled! What a treat guys. That place was so amazing to see, keep up the awesome adventures. I hope you both are staying safe and keeping healthy too.
Such an incredible set up. It must have been absolutely deafening in the bunker when the guns fired. Truly amazing to see the original paint still on the walls and the ventilation tubes. It gives you a sense of what it looked like when it was fully operational. Thank you both for bringing this to us. So Amazing. Cheers!
Your right it's like a time machine!! It's great to see a place so well preserved even writing on the wall's!! Glad you found this place and able to share this amazing location!!
How is this structure in such amazing condition? No flooding, no vandalism, it looks as if it was only vacated months ago. Wow. Thanks for exploring this location.
That was one of the very best locations. Those steel panzer doors all stacked up was someting else.Thank you for your effort and best regards, stay safe.
This video was absolutely amazing! That bunker was huge and so extraordinarily complex in its design. It's hard to believe it has been empty for so long. It was kind of eerie with the long halls and empty rooms. Great video. Stay safe 💖
Excellent video. I always enjoy those bunkers and see how well designed they were. Impressive ventilation system. Good to see your children involved with your work.
This is absolutely fascinating one of your best finds ever totally mind boggling the attention to detail and the planning nothing left to chance. This is my dream to see something like this in person one day, thank you so much for this one WWII Hunter it is truly amazing.
i love youre vids, this is first time i respond in chat because i see them on my smart-tv where i don't know how to answer, now i'm on my laptop so keep up the great work! Best regards from Bunkerfreaks Antwerpen (WW1 and WW2 history research in Belgium and France)
It has been a good practice to keep actual ammo and powder storages well protected and compartmented, deliver only required amount through "air lock" arrangement to be used. This practice prevents explosion from spreading to the main storage, which would likely turn the whole site into a pile of rubble on one go. USS Alabama had this arrangement well displayed.
Wow, can’t believe the size of that bunker!! Do you know what size of guns were mounted there? The condition inside was amazing. Love your vids, and thanks for showing us this gem!!
Well this was 2 months ago and I wasn't notified about it. This place is huge. I saw the one that was restored and it was incredible. I would love to actually go there some day. You are a lucky guy. I'm glad I'm a patreon supporter to help you go there.

Great find! Just a friendly tip for you. In low light conditions and/or when using a torch set the focus to manual and then infinity. Then your camera won't constantly be trying to focus thus not having an out of focus shot for much of the time.
Really interesting, I enjoy all of your videos so thank you for your efforts. Incredible to see these sites with little or no graffiti, they must be quite isolated.
As all ways my friend you find the best spots to go makes me wished I was there in real time but as all ways I still get to see it with you though the video tank you for that
A coastal artillery site, one of my favorite places to explore! That is quite a massive bunker site. Couldn't believe they had those half doors still lying around. Nice that there was still a lot of stuff intact though rusted along with the original paint and lettering. Loved the tunnel with the train tracks still intact. Were the tracks to the site still intact?
As a previous tile worker over a long period of time tiles can start to fall off when they are exposed to a lot of elements, those tiles being almost 100 years old it’s no surprise most of them fell off. Also if that was a bathroom if hey weren’t sealed the glue can loosen up with the water going behind the tiles
So glad that the bunker has no sign of any graffiti in every room you look on to..must be that bunker was made especially for high ranking officers..who knows anyway..the bunker was so clean unlike other bunkers you walk into..thank you for sharing this another great adventure of yours..from Philippines
@@WW2HistoryHunter Okay, are you allowed to detect in the locations? Im currently saving uo for one to go and explore battlefields and some locations in my country.
About the missing tiles in the shower, since the tiles aren't on the floor I'd guess they were taken to use elsewhere after the war (they look like nice quality tiles) and the broken ones remaining on the walls were the ones that didn't pry off without breaking.
Amazing construction on the part of the Germans. Elaborate and functional. The amount of labor and money that was spent on the construction of such facilities is truly mind-boggling. I suppose with nearly endless slave labor and financial resources from looting entire countries, all things are possible. Great informative video. Thanks for all your hard work and keep hunting, my friend.
HI HH, There are two amazing WOW factors here, 1st being the whole size of the complex. But more so that being a coastal position that the inside ( exclude metal features) is do dry and intact, that you could easily redecorate the interior paint & tiles and think that it had just been built. No sign of damp anywhere that you showed is the HOLY MADONNA for me, cheers ken uk
