You really do a great job finding these elusive locations, and sharing your enthusiasm! I’ve commented before, re: my dad serving in WW2, surviving the Battle of the Bulge- I so wish that the internet had been around while he was still alive-he would have LOVED all of this. A bit off topic, but maybe interesting story for you: most of the men in my dads family served, and my Grandfather served in WW1. Using chemical weapons was not legal, I think, but the Germans did so anyway. My Grandfathers platoon was pinned down in a trench, and the Germans attacked them with Mustard Gas. It killed most of them, but my GF survived by hiding under his fallen friends-because the Germans would come through and bayonet anyone left alive. He was under those bodies for 2 days-finally found by Americans-and spent 9 months recovering in a Paris hospital. We only have 3 aunts from that generation remaining, and I love talking to them and getting these stories. So, I completely understand your interest. Keep it up!
Alicia Hinesley respect to you Grandfather, the terror of waiting under dead comrades, to scared to move knowing enemy may be near. My grand uncle served in New Zealand regiment in france,WW1 &i have a british & french bayonet as momentos he bought back to New Zealand. 🙂
Thank you, Tiana & Jeremy, and I return your respect for your own family who served. My dad, who died when I was 25, had 1 brother, 6 sisters, 1 sister in law, and 5 brother in laws, and the older I get the more of these stories I hear. My dad wasn’t one to talk about his part in the war-but he was very smart & enterprising, and read anytime he wasn’t working-mostly history, biographies of military leaders, etc... I wish I had talked to him more regarding the war. One remaining sister ( my aunt) is 85, and is a treasure trove of stories, and I love talking to her. ❤️. It’s amazing how little I knew and appreciated the true sacrifice of all soldiers.
Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
I love your videos. My grandfather was a Sherman tank commander in WW2. He won't talk much about what he saw. Just always says that the German panzer and tiger tanks were far superior to ours. These videos give me a glimpse of what he may have seen during the war and I really appreciate you taking the time to do these.
Thank you so much both yourself & Master Eagle Eyes. My son & I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure, it gives us so much joy to watch a father & son revealing the truth of past historic locations. We absolutely love all the posts that you create. Please keep up the great work & soldier on in peace.
Really loved this one ! The country side was absolutely beautiful and to see the defense positions and the bunkers and how they were built was really fasinating. A great video 👍🏻
Great location, Thanks again HH and Eagle Eyes for sharing this great adventure. Can`t wait for the next adventure. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.
Great findings from yet another Atlantic Wall site. The AW is a gift which keeps on giving to WW2 historians and archaeologists. I wonder how many tunnels are under this hillside? And I think I would have rescued that ammo box! Many thanks, as ever, to you and to Eagle-Eyes! Sue.
The endless finding of structures at that location! Some great stuff. Would love to wander through there myself though will probably never get over there. Thanks for taking us along so we can see these wonderful sites!
Fascinating location with so many installations all beautifully constructed. Such clever use of the terrain to provide maximum camouflage and protection. Thank you for a great adventure EE and HH.
Thank you for the adventure and seeing some pieces of history ! Still doing well here in Kansas ! Praying that everyone there is still doing well there ! Take care , stay safe and healthy out there !
What an incredible set up. So much effort placing and building those ammo and personnel bunkers, just to move out after a short time. That box in the Tobruk position definitely looked like an ammo box, worth trying to retrieve it. I always love and admire the way that you happily give us the opportunity to win whatever you find in the field. We really appreciate all the effort it takes to check out these places. Especially trying to keep up with Eagle Eye's boundless energy. :) :) Thank you my friends ! Cheers and stay well !
Goodness! I do love coming with you both on these adventures! Once again it's almost as if I were there with you! You, my friend, are one hell of a story teller! One can almost see the Germans building or supervising the construction of these places! I look forward to our next little adventure going back in time! Take care and stay safe out there! Eagle Eyes amazes me with what he points out and oh to be that young again! 💖
Every "small" adventure is always spectacular and they just keep getting better and better. So amazing and so glad you share them all. So honored to be a patron. You guys rock! Much love & respect always. ✌❤🙂
Totally awesome to read my friend and we thank you for your incredile support that enables us to share even more. Greetings from us and stay safe my friend.
Great location and great video! Thank you for bringing this history to us and sharing your adventures with your son as well! Be safe and good luck! Definitely looking forward to the next video!
I do enjoy the bunker explorations best, and this was a dandy! What beautiful installations, and seeing the tobruks is amazing! Big hugs coming your way, gang, take care!😊
Spectacular location ❤️ Weird and wonderful structures there. Keep up the excellent work! I hope E. E's arm has fully healed... And back to running his History Hunter dad into the ground, like in this video 😁 Stay safe and keep seeking, finding, exploring and sharing your adventures 🙏
I would Love to see these places in person, But that will probably never happen. So thank you & eagle eyes for sharing so we can all see them. Great stuff👍
Watching from New Zealand, love your adventures & discoveries,i just wish you would metal detect some of those awesome locations. I've always been interest in WW2,as a kid i used to have a rather naive, romantic view of the war. I do metal detecting here, mainly for gold & old coins around old gold rush locations,i've found a few ounces so far, looking for the big one. Good luck on the next trip.
Excellent video. Are you able to metal detect around those areas? Probably some interesting relics there. Thanks again for doing this for our enlightenment.
Hi history hunter, I would just like to say how much I enjoy your videos on you tube , they are really interesting and full of excitement as one of my late uncles fought in the Second World War in North Africa and he did not talk about it much however it would be most interesting to see some more of your excellent work especially finding these lost or forgotten places that the German army built during the 39/45 time frame. Keep up the great work stay safe and look after your family during this currant unpleasantness.
That is massive location with a lot of different features. Hard to believe the Germans would put all their efforts into building this area and then just up and leave. The structures here are different than other locations you’ve shown us. The little tunnel through the rocks would be a nice location to metal detect. The soldiers may have sat in there during bad weather and something fell out of their pockets. Eagle Eyes could have worked for the Allies in military intelligence studying reconnaissance photos. He has a way with spotting and noticing so many features. Wonder what is there that hasn’t been seen yet?
Wow, this place was cool. It had several places of activity. I don't understand why they built so much, and then left. May have been one way to confuse the enemy. Thanks for the trip.
Hello together, Here too, the bunkers are gratefully used to use them as storage. 5:35, the hill seems to be artificially constructed. The visit is also a good workout for the body. Good thing Eageleyes are here for the observation.
Thank you for your amazing films. The scenery is inspiring and it feels like you could close your eyes and go back in time. I wish you would go to my own part of the Atlantic wall on Jersey and film some of the amazing fortifications there. Keep up the great informative short films, I love them.
What a awesome place, I want to live there!! Great video, thank's for sharing!! Keep up the great work Eagle Eye's, it keep's your Dad in decent physical shape chasing you over the mountains and help's greatly in finding thing's that may have been overlooked!! Hope your family is staying safe and healthy, take care see you guy's later!!
Like watching your research. Wish you would incorporate stories from those locations. There must be information, stores about the fighting in these locations. Bringing the human element really hits home for all of us.
Some of the simple structures remind me of stables. The German Army used horses extensively to pull guns, supply wagons, sledges, field kitchens, you name it, especially in more restrictive terrain.
Great video and most interesting. There are so many different emplacements do you have any idea WHY? It must have had some strategic significance maybe ? I think you Sir and Eagle Eyes have found something of more importance than first thought. Be well, and stay safe to you both

I'm so lucky to see this in person this is very very very interested and do all that work for one round oh my God thank you for going up the hill I love what eagle eyes did that's cool
Very well done sir, thank you for preserving the history, be safe out there, try to carry a 1st aid kit, emergency rations, spare socks, t shirts etc.too. I'd bring some crackers peanut butter a flare gun and for that anything that can happen situation, a good .45 cal., just a safety thing or two. Keep up the great work, the relics I've found in Europe are amazing.

They'd need some lookouts and probably want to have some soldiers to fight in case a group of other soldiers approached on foot.
I would guess around 30-40 men would be there. Thanks for comment and for watching
