I have a Novosbed Medium at the end of its life and was looking to try the new cooling foams. Loved the Novosbed but was curious about the new cooling foams. Bought Ghosbed Luxe in hopes it would be cooler. That’s a hard nope and not as comfortable as the Novosbed (more hip pressure for the side sleeper). Wife had me put the novosbed back in place. Just ordered a Helix Luxe Sunset in hopes it’ll be better. Will likely try purple 3 next if Helix doesn’t work out..
Hi Brian, I am a side sleeper that is getting shoulder pain from the ghost bed luxe as it's not soft enough and creates pressure points on the shoulder. I am still within the 30 day return policy so I was thinking of switching to a Helix Luxe Sunset mattress instead. I can't find anyone that has actually used that mattress as everyone reviews the helix midnight instead. Did you get the sunset or the purple 3 and if so do they feel a lot better for side sleeping?
@@sebastianwinterfell also we ordered another Novosbed medium and was extremely disappointed to find out they changed their formula versus what I purchased back in 2016. Their formula in 2016 was an extremely close Tempur-pedic variant. It had 7 inches of 1.8 pound poly foam and two 2 inch layers of high density 5 pound viscoelastic memory foam. it’s been an incredible bed. The new formulation is cheaper and softer. So I cannot recommend it. We sent that back as well.
