Survival horror game, wherein you're a random imperial citizen accused of heresy. Intro cutscene is your trial and you're found "guilty" and your thrown into essentially the minotaur's labrynth. The minotaur/monster in this case being a sister repentia who has gone completely mad. Just a roided out woman with a giant chainsword chasing you through this maze. And throughout the game, you're going through the maze and you can find shrines to act as save/level up points. There's ones to the various chaos gods, which grant you boones that eventually allow you to take on the sister and bust out of the maze. Alternatively, there are far fewer shrines to the emperor some of which have essentially journal entries from the sister and if you collect all of them you can essentially break through to her and mend her shattered mind and she can then take you out of the maze and prove your true devotion to the emperor. Just an interesting idea i had for a game for a while. It gets to show off the gritty and horriffic side of the imperium in a neat way.
For the Guardsmen point and click game, the ending has to be an Inquisitor quizzing you on the game and if you get something wrong, they shoot you because they think you lied to them
"Krieg: the unending war" set in the civil war of Krieg, two forces: loyal and separatists to the imperium, mostly focused on trenches and big fields but also having smaller maps like cities. Four battlefield-like classes, each squad with a commander. The commander of the squad could call for artillery, chem weapons, etc. No glory in the fight, no happiness, just blood and mud by the end.
@@KrakDuk That makes sense, but I want a game where I can actually get the full vibe of being a Guardsman or something with tanks and such like a BF game. Plenty of potential warzones to represent even, with plenty of effectively mirrored factions that make balance fairly easy no less.
yeahh battlefront style, guard can be like the clones, then space marines can be like the more elite clones, and then primarchs and stuff can be like jedi
What about a general army which comprises what would make sense for that side e.g. Playing as the Imperium you can be an astartes, a guard regiment where as you lose health you lose soldiers and your damage decreases but you heal easy, the mechanicus where you have to heal yourself behind cover and can regenerate allied armour and give boosts, The adepta sororitas but you give holy boosts and can have a player become saint Celestine ,Imperial knights if you get enough points or even have one player get to be a titan if they score enough points and it's late in game. Then on the side of chaos you can be demons, one of the traitor legions, dark mechanicus, etc.

All I'll say is that Fromsoft already proved they can do cosmic horror in a Gothic setting. Put bloodborne in space, and it's already half way to being a 40k game already. A Fromsoft 40k game would be grimdark, brutally difficult, and have a story you have to dig to find. It's a perfect marriage
A game I would love to have:A RTS game where you play as a member of chaos(Slaanesh, Khorne, undivided, nurgle, Tzeentch.) during the Horus heresy, where it’s similar to rogue trader(the game), where it’s very story driven, and different to rogue trader(the game) you’d be actively trying to please the gods, and traitor primarchs and you just try to build up a fleet and ground force that could rival the ultramarine’s after the siege of terra. But something I’d like is where you have this timer which clicks until the siege of terra, which then once the timer reaches 0 you are presented with a choice. 1.Join the siege (lose any percentage of your army but have the chance to win) or 2.Don’t join the siege(keep army strength but lose a large amount of respect and relations with different chaos-aligned characters) and after the siege you are presented with another option 1.Flee from the Great Scouring[Canon decision](survive with majority of your army and lay dormant within the eye of terror while building up your forces, and begin a new campaign during one of these periods A. Age of Apostasy B.After the great rift opens. For 40K Kart, you could always have a virus bomb function as the lightning bolt from Mario Kart. Bob-Bombs would be a Vortex Grenade. Bullet-Bills would be you turning into Daemon Angron. Also to expand on it, each of the racers gets a special ability that they can pop during the race if their gauge is full. Ahriman would conjure the Rubric and turn all racers to dust for like 5 seconds. Guilliman would just whip out the Codex Astares and start smacking people in the head with it flattening them. Yvraine would call upon Ynnead and give her a masssive speed boost similar to the golden mushroom power up. Angron would do that Moon Splitting strike and screw up the terrain/cause the ground to crack apart. Abadon would just crash his black stone fortress into the track and wipe anyone out while he’s untouched. Commisar Cain would just toss Yurgan at the nearest person and they’ll instantly crash into the nearest wall/off the map. Also if I could suggest a game idea, 40k game but it’s similar to Halo: Reach/Battlefield. You play as a Tempestus Psion and you’re tasked with extracting a magos studying the Blackstone pylons in hopes of producing more of them under order by Cawl. The planet the Magos is on is currently under siege by either Orks (because why not) or insurrectionists. Half way through the campaign the Magos manages to touch a random device in an old tomb and everything starts to turn green. Turns out the planet the Magos was on is a Tomb World and now you’re tasked with trying to extract him. The campaign ends with you and your remaining squad staying behind to ensure the inquisitor you’ve been sent with and the limbless torso of the Magos off world.
For the battlefront Horus heresy thing, you could have the world eaters start out in blue and white and then, when you keep getting kills for the world eaters, your colors change to the red and brass

How about the opening for Horus Heresy Battlefront be actually at Ulanor? I feel like the greatest narrative theme in the horus heresy is obviously betrayal, but betrayal means nothing if you weren't backstabbing someone you trust. So I'm imagining you're at ulanor, fighting an ungodly amount of orks as a Luna Wolf, and you intermittently throughout see Horus and the Emperor fighting side by side, throughout the battle getting the occasional narration about their love for one another and greater context about the crusade, and this prologue ends with the announcement of Horus as Warmaster, and more importantly the emperor departing the crusade. The player will see these two gods of war, feel invincible for being beside them, only for the most prominent of them all to basically say "peace" and leave. Then, the player can choose loyalist or traitor, and it goes from there. But i think starting at ulanor, seeing the ceremony of all these primarchs, millions of marines, swelling fanfare and all this. Only to be told that all of this glory is on borrowed time, and you're about to watch it all burn. I don't know, just i think highlighting as much of the little tragedies throughout the story would hit the hardest narratively
You would need to add orks to the game who arent a big part of 30k after that. A better start would be vs imperial guard or cultists. Who would be ai controlled canon fodder in many other battles
Was gonna say a blend of battlefromt and dynasty warriors, primarchs and named space marines could be your hero characters just like dynasty warriors but still play gaurdsmen along side to earn points like battlefront
Nice to see Krak Grenade in this video. I also kinda feel like Alex is more or less a permanent host on the channel, since hes been on so much recently.
Love the sisters of battle dress up game, but additionally, hear me out: a sims expansion pack. If Star Wars, Ikea and freaking Katy Perry can have one, so can GW. Also, Tyranid Cooking Mama sounds more like overcooked or Cook, Serve Delcious than Cooking Mama.
I want 40k Dynasty Warriors. Maybe you play as a custodes or the primarchs. Actually thinking about it this would work for warhammer fantasy as well. (I commented this before the watching the video I think it would fit Eldar aspect warriors better but if there needs to be space marines here's a compromise) Playing as a guardsmen in an FPS would also be cool. But not like in darktide were you are supposed to be disposable but function in gameplay as special forces and can tank 20 lasgun shots to the face. I want to play as a normal human in 40k and to be as close to as squishy as would still be fun. Another fun idea would be playing as a knight pilot but you know done well instead of being a on rails mobile game shooter. More like Mechwarrior or Titanfall.
Based on the pitch for the first game, i can imagine a white scar going mac speed towards an enemy astartes, only to collide with a cloaked raven guard standing still.
An open world rpg of any kind preferably as a space marine of a chapter of your choosing. Space Marine 2 customization but on steroids with access to terminator armor and every armor before the mark x tacticus and better system for customizing color. Plenty of combi-weapons and rare weapons like volkite guns for your late game weapons with standard bolters, meltas, lasers, and plasma guns being early game weapons. Or, a Dark Angels souls-like with a watcher in the dark companion. It fits thematically so well, and I need my little eldritch terror companion. Plus the watcher scaring the shit out of enemies could help explain in the lore whatever bosses you're able to defeat like possibly greater daemons or even a daemon primarch.
Man, I've been teaching myself Ren'Py (a python program for visual novels) and now I really, really wanna do Tom's idea because there are some *dark* VNs out there, and it would a great kind of olive branch out towards people who are more interested in the books and the lore than the tabletop game itself. Like I know at least a dozen people just in my own friend group who would play something like that who have no interest in war gaming of any kind.
Amazing idea I wish would happen, but unfortunately for some perks or buffs dealing with formations players on the internet never play tactically like that unless you make the bots fight in formation and have players receive buffs and perks fighting with the bots it would be unused.
for the tyranid isolation one you could make a flowchart of it. you start off as a factory worker and witness your world gets invaded by tyranids so you make your way to an evac area only to be stuck in the crowd of refugees as an ork ship rams thru your rescues. eventually you do find rescue only for the ship to get snapped up by drukhari. as your escaping something goes wrong maybe due to your actions and demons of slannesh invade the ship. your escape craft ends up crashing on a world being fought over by necrons and space marines forcing you to dodge like hell thru the no man's land. the space marines curious as to how your still alive and how you got there send you to be interrogated by an inquisitor only for that planet to start a civil war over joining the tau and during your escape your mistaken for a guevesa. now in tau territory you can finally rest. the ending scene has you called in to get your new job assignment which is.... Factory Worker.
Horus Heresy: Galaxy Aflame(?) I don't know, horus heresy legions is a pretty excellent name so it is a shame a prospective heresy game couldn't be made with that title
My personal vote, an RPG where you play as the Vigil Operatii, the clandestine CIA equivalent in Ultramar. It’s also an organization that can lend itself to all sorts of genres.

A couple other ideas for the passives and active for other legions Black templars: Passive: (champions of dorn): boosted defense and attack power when in melee Active: (wrath of heros): boosted damage and defense for a short period of time (duration increases for each melee kill) Raptors: Passive: (superior sight) increased range and accuracy on snipers Active: (death from afar): boosts damage of ranged weapons for self and teammates Lamenters Passive: (tragic heroes): increased damage and defense for self and teammates when health is below 30% Active: (avenge the innocent): significant increase in movement speed and damage Red corsairs Passive: (maelstrom raiders) increasee speed and damage when using ships Active (Blackheart's reprisal): increased damage and weapin accuracy Carcharodons: Passive: (from the void): physic attacks have the chance to stun and debuff enemy defense Active: (the maw hungers) increased damage and attack speed but cannot use melee (buff increases for each melee skill Kraken hunters (my bad if the name is wrong) Passive: (monster hunters): increased defense and damage when facing monstrous troops Active: (drowning might) aquatic weapons have increased range, damage and fire rate at the cost of reduced melee damage and defense.
I don't know if many have played it but Titan Fall 2 has a supurb multiplayer mode. I especially love their endless battle style maps with tons of escalating mobs of enemies ramping up throughout the game. Starting from trash grunts, to mini titans, to even rough mercenaries that both sides can try to kill for additional points. It just really makes the game feel alive, and like your always contributing no matter what. But more than anything else, I want the option to gear up as terminators, and dreadnoughts with enough points.
Why not a space Wolf passive that connects back to sagas? You don't have an ability at first, but if you beat hero units, you and your allies get buffed.
If I may; a resident evil style game as a inquisititorial retinue delving into a governor's manor at the top of the hive city rumored to house a chaos cult. Have a chaos marine be the big guy chasing you around, dlc expansion could have the same become a possessed marine it'd be great 👍
I think that for the horus heresy battlefront it should start on the dropsite massacre and you get to play as any of the legions and every legion has a difrent ending cutsene for the mission (e.g. if you play as iron hands or emperors children the end is the death of Ferrus Manus, if you play as night lords it ends with Konrad Curze taking away Vulkan……)the reason i think its a good idea cus its the start of the heresy and very important for the loyalist legions there.
A 40K MMORPG like Star Wars Galaxies or TOR would probably be a money printer if James workshop ever got around to licensing a studio to make it. Integrate ship combat like Star Trek Online, let the player become a rouge trader or an inquisitor or something, and perhaps integrate some big multimedia events to draw in people. Infinite money maker.
basically 40k bannerlord around the cervix maledicktum and you play either as a captian of a chapter or a leader of a chaos warband, battles are squad based ranged combat like republic commandos with like eiter bannerlord or for homnor meele combat, since the captain only fights with his main squad you have to promote new space marines to lieutanant and give tham squads fitting their personality, space battle like a less complicated version of nebulus fleet command. PLEASE I LONG FOR THIS
I will say that a lot of the actives and stuff for the first game idea just seem very irritating; stuff like going invisible is extremely hard to balance, and the Iron Warriors could basically just remove vehicles from the game by getting auto crits on them. Both of these would need a lot of work and fine tuning to make them feel fair - for example, the Iron Warriors have massively reduced movement speed during their active, so they are easier to hit in return and rush down unless they play it smart. A lot of the others are just stat buffs, which makes them a bit less distinct from one another, but that can be fixed by the differences in loadouts (e.g. Salamanders having more Melta options between the classes) and the Hero units. Still some cool ideas, though
I mean they did specifically say some of the abilities were busted and that having some balance issues was intended as part of the fun. Its the equivalent of someone telling you they want their steak medium rare and you go oh no don't do that it'll be slightly bloody and pink let me tell you how to cook it well done so its not the thing you want at all
Oh my god… Lu bu on the extreme difficulty… DO NOT PURSUE… DONT DO IT! I love dynasty warriors tho. For some reason it’s like one of the most hate franchises except for the hyrule warriors
Ok actually straight up just make a digital version of the tabletop game and I see two potential issues with this one of this I think can be resolved and one actually would work as a marketing strategy for GW. Problem one: the tabletop game is very cluttered and to do this you could basically integrate all the passive effects and stuff just into the game you don’t have to mess around with them so for example passive squad buffs, basically streamline out some of the super niche mechanics and strip it down a little bit. Problem 2: wouldn’t this discourage people from buying minis, and I say that no people still love the physical minis and in person play but the real way to avoid this is to cap the games at 500 or 750 points basically make them small scale games so that the larger 2000 point games you have to buy the minis for, and additionally this could get people who wouldn’t normally buy minis to try it out first and see how they like it and if they want to play the bigger games or have the minis they would then play the physical game.
The Assassinorum has aspirants in a battle royal for to become full fledged Assassins in the lore. They have to fight and survive in a constantly evolving environment. Perfect for a BR title.
The Hive Manager reminds me of a recent-ish game that came out called "I Was A Teenage Exocolonist" where you play from the ages of 10-20 on a new planet and trying to survive on it. It's got visual novel, deck management, and relationship management elements. It also has a neat little benefit of playing mutliple different times. I think that would be really fun and would allow for a lot of meditation on the 40k universe, which you don't get to tab into a lot.

2. What about a Armored Core style Dreadnaught/imperial knight game?
Was gonna say a blend of battlefromt and dynasty warriors, primarchs and named space marines could be your hero characters just like dynasty warriors but still play gaurdsmen along side to earn points like battlefront
Nice to see Krak Grenade in this video. I also kinda feel like Alex is more or less a permanent host on the channel, since hes been on so much recently.
One of my friends once had the idea of primark smash bros. Actually would be so fun with all the different possibilities for abilities and stuff.
I love the avatars for this episode :D
The Horus Heresy Battlefront should be called “Warhammer 30,000: Horus Heresy, Star-Scourge”
I want 40k Dynasty Warriors. Maybe you play as a custodes or the primarchs. Actually thinking about it this would work for warhammer fantasy as well.
(I commented this before the watching the video I think it would fit Eldar aspect warriors better but if there needs to be space marines here's a compromise)
Playing as a guardsmen in an FPS would also be cool.
Sigh, the *PROTECTRONS* were awesome. And the named one is Primm Slim, from New Vegas.
Based on the pitch for the first game, i can imagine a white scar going mac speed towards an enemy astartes, only to collide with a cloaked raven guard standing still.
The Dynasty Warriors series did do a couple Gundam spin offs, so the series CAN do ranged weapon combat, they had Heavy Arms in it.
A rogueslike were you play as a thunder warrior fighting technobarbarians and maybe the odd man of iron
All I need is a game where you pilot god engines
New to warhammer 40k, love the deathwatch honors and lore
Dude just dropped the most entertaining and awesome idea, while also being quite ironic, like we wouldn't notice
For the Horus Heresy game
Cause you can play everyone and it’s a sprawling mass battle
“Horus Heresy: Legions”
I have since discovered that this EXACT title is Currently taken by a mobile “card” game
Horus Heresy: Galaxy Aflame(?)
I don't know, horus heresy legions is a pretty excellent name so it is a shame a prospective heresy game couldn't be made with that title
My greatest hope would be a Mechwarrior-style (1st/3rd-person-shooter mecha) game... but with Knights.
My personal vote, an RPG where you play as the Vigil Operatii, the clandestine CIA equivalent in Ultramar. It’s also an organization that can lend itself to all sorts of genres.
Can we PLLLEAAASEEEE get an expanded video on Horus-Battle-Heresy-Front 3?? I need to hear expanded ability ideas for the chapters, plus abilities for other Zeno’s AND BATTLEFIELD SETTINGS!!
Not to mention I’d love to hear the ideas for your basic troop-reinforcements like how the new BF2 has Arc Troopers and Commandos and jet troopers etc
A couple other ideas for the passives and active for other legions
Black templars:
Passive: (champions of dorn): boosted defense and attack power when in melee
Active: (wrath of heros): boosted damage and defense for a short period of time (duration increases for each melee kill)
Raptors:
Passive: (superior sight) increased range and accuracy on snipers
Active: (death from afar): boosts damage of ranged weapons for self and teammates
Lamenters
Passive: (tragic heroes): increased damage and defense for self and teammates when health is below 30%
Active: (avenge the innocent): significant increase in movement speed and damage
Red corsairs
Passive: (maelstrom raiders) increasee speed and damage when using ships
Active (Blackheart's reprisal): increased damage and weapin accuracy
Carcharodons:
Passive: (from the void): physic attacks have the chance to stun and debuff enemy defense
Active: (the maw hungers) increased damage and attack speed but cannot use melee (buff increases for each melee skill
Kraken hunters (my bad if the name is wrong)
Passive: (monster hunters): increased defense and damage when facing monstrous troops
Active: (drowning might) aquatic weapons have increased range, damage and fire rate at the cost of reduced melee damage and defense.
But more than anything else, I want the option to gear up as terminators, and dreadnoughts with enough points.
the world eaters abilty really reminds me demomands eyelander from TF2 but without the debuff
It's the boi!!
With the resurgence of mech games i think we need a tau battle suit game like the new armoured core game
in lieu of a primarch the iron hands can field a heavily modded dreadnought
W COLLAB!!!
That would be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
From 24k to 135k in 3 months
Man is funny, puts effort in his videos and makes videos on a pretty popular franchise. Obviously he grows fast with enough luck.
@@refuze2quit603 completely agree
Uncharted mixed with just cause.... But Caiaphas Cain.....
In a word...BASED!!!
Have a chaos marine be the big guy chasing you around, dlc expansion could have the same become a possessed marine it'd be great 👍
Genestealer Isolation is just Octarius war POV
1:41:25 I think the game he was referring to was Faith: The Unholy Trinity. Game creepy af despite basically being 16 bit
I still want a fleshed out version of that Chapter Master game that got cancelled
i feel like that battlefront mission with Ferrus would be like a fromsoftware game, with the starting boss battle that you are meant to lose
Something in my brain finds the idea of Aaron pinging alex from across the map with a softball so goddamn funny and I dont know why
I can’t wait for krak to pass up pewdiepie in subs next year
Those avatar pics would be great stickers or/and pins
If Krak Duk sold them yeah lol
This reminds me of an old fan thing for Halo, Halo: Battlefront
A small scale FPS similar to R6S or CoD inspired by Kill Team.
Not really, MMO RPGs rarely return their value - just the ones that we hear of are that small, successful percent
KRACKDUCK MY BEAUTIFUL BOY LEZGOOOOO
I think a steel division or Arma style 40k game would work really well
I always imagined the Primarchs in a dynasty warriors style game
Lol the raven guard abilities would be so overpowered - go invisible, passive decrease on ttk 💀
Arkham night or anyone of the Arkham games but you play as a night lord instead
Toms hive manager game sounds alot like suzerain to me.
basically 40k bannerlord around the cervix maledicktum and you play either as a captian of a chapter or a leader of a chaos warband, battles are squad based ranged combat like republic commandos with like eiter bannerlord or for homnor meele combat, since the captain only fights with his main squad you have to promote new space marines to lieutanant and give tham squads fitting their personality, space battle like a less complicated version of nebulus fleet command.
Its the equivalent of someone telling you they want their steak medium rare and you go oh no don't do that it'll be slightly bloody and pink let me tell you how to cook it well done so its not the thing you want at all
That’s cute, little chibi versions of you guys.😻
Problem 2: wouldn’t this discourage people from buying minis, and I say that no people still love the physical minis and in person play but the real way to avoid this is to cap the games at 500 or 750 points basically make them small scale games so that the larger 2000 point games you have to buy the minis for, and additionally this could get people who wouldn’t normally buy minis to try it out first and see how they like it and if they want to play the bigger games or have the minis they would then play the physical game.
counter point dawn of war
I want a Votann colony management sim 🙏
yesss have it set on some super harsh enviorment in the core of the galaxy, and have it play like Frostpunk
Not one mention of wanting a Mass Effect-style highly-narrative/character-driven light RPG where you play an Inquisitor?
We're already halfway there with Rogue Trader.
@@markcochrane9523 True but that's also a CRPG rather than a third person tactical squad shooter like the ME series.
The hero for the Iron Hands should just be a bane blade in place of Ferrus Manus.
THERE'S MY FAVOURITE LITTLE CADIAN!
Lmao karkduk being only guardsmen is a whole mood 😂
Take Warhammer 40Kart but add the gunplay mechanics from Crash Tag Team Racing for some Dakka
they have this coming out soon
YOOO ITS MA BOIIII
Found krakduk literally a week ago and he's already showing up other places.
The Assassinorum has aspirants in a battle royal for to become full fledged Assassins in the lore. They have to fight and survive in a constantly evolving environment. Perfect for a BR title.
28:30 missed opportunity to name it "flesh is weak..."
omg I love that art style 😭
The Hive Manager reminds me of a recent-ish game that came out called "I Was A Teenage Exocolonist" where you play from the ages of 10-20 on a new planet and trying to survive on it. It's got visual novel, deck management, and relationship management elements. It also has a neat little benefit of playing mutliple different times. I think that would be really fun and would allow for a lot of meditation on the 40k universe, which you don't get to tab into a lot.
