  • IQ is a type of standard score that indicates how far above, or how far below, his/her peer group an individual stands in mental ability. The peer group score is an IQ of 100; this is obtained by applying the same test to huge numbers of people from all socio-economic strata of society, and taking the average. So in simple terms, an iq level indicates how samrt are you. In this comparison video, you would see what an individual is capable of at different IQ levels.

@adrenochrome addict there doesn't exist one iq.
There's an iq for everything, and it is never already determined when you're born. Your life makes your iqs.
There isn't any smart or dumb, there are different capabilities and disabilities, an endless number of them.
This video is just non sense, as all iq tests on the internet are because there doesn't exist one value for your intelligence that can determine which is the "smarter" person, there are endless values that can measure the capabilities of a person doing a very precise and specific act.

Of course there could be some people who do, but that doesn’t mean that anyone with those conditions has a minimum IQ of 139. I could be diagnosed with bi-polar if I wanted to but I’d rather not let some asshole in a chair define who I am, and I’m not gonna let this world treat me like a broken cow who’s stopped producing milk for the masses. School subjects are really easy for me, but I also like to dig more on the things I learn and try to improve my capabilities. Maybe its because people have different interests than me, or sutile actions that I might be doing without realizing, but I feel deeply disconnected from eveyone.
I always think about how easily they can make bounds with each other and share their lives, and ask to myself why I am not capable of doing the same. I do sometimes have small conversations, but everyone already has their old group of friends and I just can't see myself fitting on the social circle. The highest IQ in 43.95 people? 130 SD 15.
The highest IQ in 740.79 people? 145 SD 15.

The highest IQ in 1,013,594,634.89 people? 190 SD 15.

The Down’s Syndrome one makes me sad because, when I was in first grade, one of my friends had Down’s Syndrome, and, despite us being in a special ed class, he seemed to be the only kid in that class who understood me, and vise-versa.
The other kids would treat him like a baby, but I would treat him as an equal. In turn, he helped me through meltdowns by keeping me company. I would often hide under my desk when having a meltdown/anxiety attack and, one time, he took his work under his own desk, which was next to mine, so that he could sit next to me while I was down there.
I hope that he goes far in life despite his disability and I especially hope that more people have recognized what a great person he is.
Edit: I just saw the “higher emotional intelligence” one. That definitely checks out.

It’s hard for me to listen to someone speak and really process what they’re saying until it’s too late. It becomes difficult to speak to people outside of a couple individuals sometimes and there have been many days after class when I think about suicide because I’m embarrassed of what other people think about me messing up all of the time and my lack of awareness. One day, I’ll think about dropping out of college and then I think about sticking around because I’m not sure what else there is to do but keep studying because I’m not sure what other jobs I would be competent enough to work.

The analogy that I always tell my students is that the brain is like a computer. IQ is the hardware of the computer, processing power, RAM, etc. What you apply it to and the skills you learn are like the software installed on the computer. So IQ is not the end all determinate of success. Things like work-ethic, passion, ambition, and social skills all factor in to success.
I have a tested IQ of 142 and there are pros and cons that go with it. I learn things incredibly quickly, can figure things out and problem solve better than most people, can memorize ridiculous amounts of information, and can usually get good at anything I put my mind to. On the other side, I have no work ethic because I never needed one, I’m terribly impatient and easily frustrated by others because they can’t do things at my speed, and despise conversations that don’t have a purpose (small talk and things like that).
So at the end of the day, I just view IQ as another part of who we are and not as something that makes anyone better or worse than anyone else.

Man this is actually crazy this video is real for sure! I had an IQ test from INTERNATIONAL HIGH IQ SOCIETY and had a result of IQ as 150 and I didn’t know what it actually means, and all the things which was shown in this video between IQ of 140-170 occurs with me every single thing (specially the 168 IQ). My surrounding people thinks I’m intelligent but I never realised it I do come first in school but academic performance doesn’t describe your intelligence and I thought it was normal but seeing your video I think I’m a bit abnormal. Anyway I loved it since your video is real and no fake things were written in it.

I think the reason people on both ends of the lower / higher spectrum of IQ ranges suffering from a range of different human conditions could be in part because our world societies were built mostly by people in the median deviation for people of the median deviation; thus they stand a greater chance of perhaps not suffering the level of layers of existential stress that those beyond the median range often are followed by throughout their lives. But I’m sure there is far more to it we will remain ignorant to for the simple fact that ‘life’ in itself is not simple and thus under no obligation to make sense to us. I think uncertainty is a vehicle that carries wealth of opportunities but at the same time amplifies our “mileage” and those beyond the spectrum of ‘normal’ judgement by some dimensions: are arguably confronted by higher rates of conscious uncertainty.

Take Chess as an example, Hikaru Nakamura and Levy Rozman both got 102 on the IQ tests and chess is a game that you need to be really smart to get good at, calculating the moves and what would happen, leave people thinking that needs a high IQ. Or many succesfull people have become succesful with only a C grade, or a very low GPA.

As a child, I showed an unusual aptitude for math, prompting my teachers to recommend I take a formal IQ test. My parents did not show me the results when they came back, claiming IQ meant nothing (indeed IQ is not a definitive measure of intelligence), so I stopped pestering them about it. I proceeded to skip three grades and graduate as the valedictorian of my high school, which, along with my extracurriculars, got me accepted into MIT, my dream school, which I could not pay for initially until I applied for financial aid. However, about a year into college, my depression, which had been with me my entire life (I had a traumatizing existential crisis regarding death at age 7), worsened, and and eventually, I decided life was not worth living due to my state of perpetual, debilitating sadness. In the summer of 2018, after returning to my hometown, I drove my dad's car directly into a brick wall in an attempt to end my suffering. Luckily (in retrospect), the steering wheel airbag, which broke my long Jewish nose, prevented me from dying via my inertia. I was hospitalized, but aside from a broken nose and basically my entire left ribcage, I was fine. I played off the accident as a loss of consciousness at the wheel, as I hide my emotions very well so nobody questioned my lie, but the trauma from my near-death experience essentially shocked me out of my depression. After some deep reflection, I realized that death, and the never- ending nonexistence that comes with it, was far worse than living a life, albeit with ceaseless depression. I have since graduated with a double major in math and physics and I am now pursuing a PhD in quantum physics at a smaller institute in California. Recently, my parents revealed to me that I scored a 186 on the standardized IQ test that I took when I was elementary school, but didn't want to tell me because they didn't want me to get a big head. Reading this list of traits correlated with IQs of different ranges, while it doesn't look all too accurate (nor do 99 percent of Infinite Comparison videos), some traits, such as suicidal thoughts and relaxation not possible ring true, at least for me. However, I can empathize (though my non-verbals may show the opposite), and I am currently in a healthy relationship. As a final note, I must stress that if you feel you are clinically depressed, it is better than not-existing. Just consider that if you die, you cannot see anyone's reaction to your death, and you may as well just have never existed because you can no longer process that you have existed. I am still constantly depressed, but I have learned to appreciate my state of consciousness, which I will one day lose, so why not keep the flame of thought burning as long as possible?

For me, I don't want to brag or anything in style, but when they show me something or tell me something, I will always overthink abt it, I prefer to spend time by my own and quite independent, quite sensible to nature and feelings, and I'm always curious abt history, space, science, languages and cultures, the future, and how the world works. I'm not saying that I'm a genius, but I hoped that I had gotten that same test my little cousin is getting now, to confirm my thoughts and clear things up.

Not that i would be more able to get back to university and stuff (*extremely silent awful scream*), but i decided that the most simple things are the things i wanna live for anyways.. sunlight, the pleasure of touching warm fluffy moss... And feeling the awe-inspiring joy of the contrast of walking onto a hot street and wet grass in tandem.
Or so. The sensory stuff.. and man i will miss them, once age starts taking them from me bit by bit... But that's life.. preparing oneself to be able to die, the one's do it quickly, the others just wait and learn..

When I got divorced I had to pay to take a psych evaluation and part of it included an IQ test evaluated and everything by a doctor. I knew I wasn’t stupid, but I didn’t think my IQ would be 144. He said it’s no wonder I have such extreme anxiety and depression given I was abused and then abandoned by my parents.. part of that left me disfigured. So, I’m trying to do shit with my life, but.. I have no money, I’m anxious and depressed so everyone hates me no matter how hard I try to make them happy, Im brutally ugly from my disfigurement.. what a fucking waste of a mind..

Buddy high IQ doesn't mean that you would be better at everything , just try to find a work that Kicks your mind into using it's potential.
Sooner or later you find your purpose in life. Just relax ! You are here for a reason.
Become just like a saint that has nothing left to lose,it's just you and your mind. Live free and help others.

Nobody hates you for lack of money or for your disfigurement. Some people might be shallow in relation to your struggles, but hate is such a strong word, and it really sounds like your depression is clouding your judgment. Seek help, even if it's just a crisis hotline or some online support group. You can't live life thinking that everyone hates you.

Keep in mind that your brain is to put it lightly, annoyingly hard to narrow down. Regardless of your intelligence you may have picked up things far above or below your range and that is perfectly normal, with work you can overcome whatever you may lack.

In order for mutual communication, there should be at most 20 points IQ difference between two people. For example, a person with 130 IQ needs a person with higher than 110 IQ in order to feel energized by conversation. If you put 130 IQ and 100 IQ people together, the conversation would become one-sided and boring for both people. I think that's why the higher your IQ is, the less skilled you are at small talk and daily socializing as 100 IQ is the world's average IQ.

Only once in life I took 3-hour IQ test. I got 135. That was as high as I could get. Other smaller tests gave me from 99 to 115. About anxiety and memory - they're right. So I must be 115.

Maybe for you,it is not related, but maybe it is,I hope.Saying just to keep in mind

I was forced to take an iq test in elementary school, the rests were inconclusive test results too high. The principal who forced me to take this test to kick me out, decided to start treating me different and said “ I guess you aren’t a retard after all my boy.”

Validity of IQ tests aside, this is true, anecdotally at least. My maternal family is filled with genuine geniuses that I struggle to engage with, as I clearly got my Dad's genes. Small talk is near impossible, and not a single one has maintained a faithful monogamous relationship.
Some are really evil politicans here in NZ, some designed the famous architecture of my city, and 2 are world famous psychologists. Literally all of them have substance abuse issues or recovered from that, and half of them experience mania. Every single one of them has profound mental iIInesses. I am very average relative to that, and thankfully avoided schitzophrenia.
