    This video shows you how to install a new crankshaft position sensor on your 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. The crankshaft position sensor is an important component of any electronically controlled ignition system. The sensor provides the computer with data about the position of the crank shaft to properly adjust ignition timing. If the sensor in your vehicle is broken or malfunctioning, you may suffer poor performance, or get a check engine light.
    This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2005 Chevrolet Cobalt
    2006 Chevrolet Cobalt
    2007 Chevrolet Cobalt
    2008 Chevrolet Cobalt
    2009 Chevrolet Cobalt
    2010 Chevrolet Cobalt

    Much easier to reach from the top. It is right under oil filter.

      I'm about to do this today and I am thinking about going from the top... do you think I can do it after just pulling the supercharger or do I have to remove more?
