Hey for the z3 you need a chassis strengthening bar. You need the chassis to be stiffer so the suspension can do its job or else the body is doing the moving. Good luck have fun!

Agreed. When the rotary goes in, it’ll be making more power so will also need the floor strengthening at the rear

I love your analysis about "cold air" intake. And why I think it's pretty stupid recirculating hot exhaust gases through a turbocharger. Superchargers are the way to go. I'm in the U.S. and the M44 engine is actually pretty capable little motor. There's a guy in Kansas City that will modify the engine and get 200 HP naturally aspirated, and with a Supercharger around 240 HP. Which is 100 HP more than stock for the 90's Z3. And they are solid well built engines. 240 H.P. out of a 1.9 liter engine ain't bad. But, there is a kit for a Corvette LS engine swap giving you 400+ H.P which is insane. And for around $25,000 you'll end up with a car that can take on $100K cars, and probably beat them. The E36 chassis is the stiffest chassis BMW offered on a 3 series.

Fun fact if you have the facelift (at least on my 3.0i) there is an extra cold air tube that goes behind the fog light. In the M roadster this is open but in the case of the 3.0i this close of with a plastic thingy and also there is the fog light in the way. But if you remove both of them then you get an extra true cold air intake into the OEM box which is pretty neat :)

Hey! Have you checked if the top mounts have worked loose? You can get a top mount reinforcement plate that sits above the top mount on the inside. Lift the carpet behind the seats to access

You're looking at the oil level dipstick on camera? That's rather queer. and this is a track ready car? I don't know man. You pretty much lost me with the dipstick scene. I mean if you're showing your viewers the oil level on your dipstick, what's the point of watching the rest of this video? at least you didn't kick the tires...

The point is to give people an idea of what they should be checking before taking the car on track. Yeah it’s the basics… but skipping that could be catastrophic. The others are all bonuses to improve performance on track. Yeah, there’s loads more that could be done

And no, it’s not a track ready car, just a cheap cheerful toy to that you can also enjoy on track
