Your bookshelf tours are probably my favourite ones on TH-cam 💛
This is wildly kind ♥️
Ah, such a satisfying video. I noted down so many books to add to my TBR list!
Wow! Great tour!
Your bookshelf tours are my comfort videos. Lots of rewatches when I’m feeling anxious.
I was literally just looking at your previous book shelve tours yesterday! This came at just the right time 😍
Ahahaha what are the chances!!!!
Such a comfy video~ 🥰
🥰❤️
I love bookshelf videos and I just love your book collection. 📚📚📚📚
Aw I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Ahhhh love seeing all the pretty bookshelves! I HIGHLY recommend The City of Brass, Take a Hint Dani Brown, and The Clan of the Cave Bear. All different from each other, all excellent.
I loved Get a Life Chloe Brown so I'm really excited to read Dani Brown, my partner and I are reading the series together! I may have to pick up City of Brass ASAP though because it always sounds amazing whenever I think about it.
@@JeansThoughts oh yay! Hope you enjoy it when you do. ❤️
Yay, I'm also a doll (and book) collector! 😄 I loved seeing both of your collections.
Yes more like minded collectors aha this brings me so much joy!
Love your collection ❤📚
How many books you have 😆 amazing 😉
Hi! Hope you’re doing well 💗 You’ve uploaded this at the perfect time omg! I have just put on the kettle for a cup of tea and went on TH-cam for a Vlog style book related video to put on while I deep clean my room before the holidays start 😍 I could listen to you talk about your book collection for hours, it’s so relaxing and interesting! Wishing you a very jolly Christmas xx
Yas I love some serendipitous timing! Hope the deal cleaning is going well and merry Christmas to you!!
read Elatsoe!!! i think you'd really like it! 😊😊
Well that's a shame, I ordered many mythology books for work at the beginning of December and didn't see you were the author of this one ! Would totally have ordered it as well ! Such nice bookshelves too ^^
I feel much better about my TBRs - many fewer than yours! I like the idea of putting them all on one shelf (!) - might encourage me to read them. :)
Love the Vintage editions, I have one of War and Peace.. gorgeous.. and loved The Awakening by NR.. did you read the whole series ending with The Choice.. ?
Also , love your book of Greek and Egyptian myths.
Love the cover of the Pantheon books .. gorgeous.
Once Upon a River by Dianne Setterfield is a beautiful winter read! I highly recommend you pick it up soon!
I love DIANNE! I read the thirteenth tale a few years ago and it’s one of my favourite books so I’ve been meaning to read once upon a river ever since aha
@@JeansThoughts that's great to hear! I've actually put The Thirteenth Tale on my December tbr so that makes me super extra excited to get to it
Eek I hope you enjoy!
In the US, mass market paperbacks started going away for SFF 15-20 years ago. I have so many MMPBs from back when most SFF came out in that format only and some I waited for the MMPB because the hardcover was too expensive.
Trade paperbacks were rare in SFF. Just for special it omnibus editions.
So many of the booktubers I follow are much younger than me and never saw SFF as mostly MMPB. Many of them hate them and prefer the "floppy paperbacks."
I don't mind what the format is except I have some series that I was collecting in MMPB that suddenly started coming out in trade and I hate mismatched formats for the same series. Oh well. Definitely a first-world problem. Lol
You should read the city of brass soon! I thoroughly enjoyed that and the whole series, really amazing fantasy story based on north african and middle eastern mythology/lore!
I would say pick up Lockwood & Co in preparation for the Netflix series, and also, Foundryside is particularly good :)
Oooh I did not know there was a Netflix adaptation coming so that’s a good heads up!
I can see A Closed and Common Orbit (book #2 in the series) and Record of a Spaceborn Few on the shelf (book #3) but do you have the other two? I love that series, especially book 2.
I’ve read and adored book one! It might be at my partners if it’s not on the bookcase but I need to read the rest of the series desperately!!
I can understand keeping Harleen but if you’re going to show it, at least take off the Dust Jacket to show the viewers how beautiful the unseen cover is.
I would say it’s one of the best covers I’ve seen.
I mean the same goes for dozens and dozens of my books aha - time didn’t allow for a look at every piece of artwork.
So lovely to see another fairytale and folklore lover!
Did you read any Sleeping Beauty retelling? It is one of my favorite stories (well, mostly because of a Disney cartoon) but I can't find any proper novel surrounding it that would spark my interest. I'd love to hear a recommendation if you have one :)
I haven't read any actually! I do have one called Beauty by Sherri S Tepper on my shelves I'm very excited to get to though.
💛💛💛
What does the Z stand for?
As a Jill, it was weird hearing my name so often 😂❤
Ahaha I can imagine!
💕📖💕📖
Can I recommend you NOT read a book from your TBR? The Seep by Chana Porter was so bad. It sells itself as a sci fi, but read more an urban fantasy story of people growing tails and gemstones on their faces. The book's final conflict takes place at a rock concert with people waving wands, which read quite juvenile.
Ok this is NOT what I expected from that book at all aha.
Homes without books (or with very few books) make me sad - yours is the opposite! :)
