- You guys have been asking for this and it's finally here! After several hours of filming and many many hours of editing I bring to you... my book shelf tour. I love this space and I'm so happy to be able to share it with you. I hope you enjoy this shelf by shelf walk through of all the books in my home library.

Aw thank you! I feel like it still needs some work. Some shelves look very deliberately organised and others are so muddled 😅

Hello Danielea, You have the most beautiful library tour I ever seen. I would love to know where to find books that have the sprayed edges. My son and his wife have a thousand plus library, but they haven't a single book like your special ones; and they read a LOT of fantasy! Thank you for sharing your collection. Here are some of the companies that do special editions for high fantasy books:
The broken binding (also have a great monthly subscription - they do special editions of backlist fantasy books - highly recommend)
Inkstone books
Goldsboro books
Waterstones (some of their exclusive 1st printings have sprayed edges - usually need to preorder)
Arcane society and Fairyloot do a lot of fantasy romance (they also have monthly subscriptions)
All of the above are UK based except for arcane society but they all offer international shipping as far as I’m aware.

Aww thank you ☺️ I’m looking forward to the first bright thing by J.R Dawson which comes out towards the end of this month. The Jasad Heir sounds good too. My next most anticipated aren’t out until October.
Just wow!!! I thought I had some beautiful books but your collection is another level! Some fantastic charity shop finds too, I’ve had some good finds but nothing like you have had, awesome thrifting skills!!
Thanks Sarah. Still can’t figure out if I just cleared out their backlog of books when I started scouting round the charity shops or if it was just good timing and I got super lucky 😂

Love sandersons books, I would start with Mistborn series or stormlight series. Daniel Greene has a good video on where to start with sandersons book that I found helpful.

Great video! I loved Book Of Night. I think that it had a lot stacked against it though. It was marketed as a fantasy, but it’s not fantasy, it’s Urban fantasy. I also think that people were expecting Cruel Prince, and it’s nothing like that either. It started off slow, but once I was about 66 pages in, it got really good. It was such a cool, unique concept.
Ah I see. I’ve only read the first book in the cruel prince series so far so I won’t have expectations for that. I don’t mind urban fantasy so this gives me more hope 😄

Love seeing the Mitch Albom books, being wanting to get more. He started out as a sports writer, you know? Have you considered Kate Forsyth? Amazing fantasy writer and I have met her and she was so cool and nice in person. Another writer who has a huge amount of paranormal titles is Yasmine Galenorn, wicked and really good. Saje Williams is also good with sci-fi/fantasy twist and my favorite book he wrote is Tales from the Magictech Lounge. Wonderful video of your home library!

Beautiful library I have over 3000 books in my home library I have been collecting since I was 5 I'm now nearly 50 lol but I don't duplicate my books... id be curious how many books you actually have if you took all your duplicate sets out 🤔🤓

Exquisite collection! You asked where to start with Brandon Sanderson. I’d say Warbreaker since it’s a stand-alone I hear that recommended a lot (haven’t read it myself). I started with Mistborn era 1, now I’m finishing Mistborn era 2 and I’m thrilled.
Thanks Jak. I think I’m leaning more towards mistborn. The only thing putting me off war breaker is that goodreads is showing a sequel but it says it won’t be started until after storm light 5 & others are finished. Is there a cliffhanger at the end of war breaker or does it read like a completed story?
@@DanieleaReads I haven’t read it, only heard it as a recommendation for those who want a stand-alone, so I assume there’s a solid conclusion. I loved Mistborn a ton though so you can’t go wrong there
@@DanieleaReadsit's a finished story, but it reads like there could be the start of a new story. For example by following different characters.

I just got off work and I'm seeing THIS!!!!! I'll comment further after watching!!! Edit: thank you for the tour! SO many gorgeous editions! Book Of Night was good. I like Holly's writing style. BoN wasn't a fantastic read, but I enjoyed it. Have you read Fourth Wing yet? It's so good.
Thank you for being so patient! 😂 I need to read BoN before the sequel comes out so I can decide if I want to keep any of them and which matching sequel I want to buy if I like it.
I ordered a copy of fourth wing from barnes & noble because I wanted the sprayed edges but it’s currently sat in a warehouse in the US whilst I wait for my books to build up so I don’t even know if I got the sprayed edges and it’s killing me 😅 I can’t wait to get it. I don’t normally like starting unfinished series because I like to binge read them but I’m so tempted to start that one without waiting because of the insane amount of 5 star reviews. 👀

West Yorkshire but I did go through a phase a couple of years ago of visiting a different town every weekend to look through their charity shops 😂

@@abbysmith1810 I must admit I’ve been back to some since and they’ve not had much. I think more people are selling on vinted now or keeping their books since booktok. The oxfam book shops tend to be good for having lots of books. There’s one in Headingley, Ilkley, Skipton & Harrogate.
Where do you find all the books with sprayed edges??
Either through monthly subscription boxes or pre-orders. Waterstones often do sprayed edges then there’s companies such as the Broken Binding, Fairyloot, Goldsboro etc.
