That wee Cab' is gorgeous! Can't wait to see the build progress. Thankyou for always keeping it real; your content keeps me motivated to chip away at the inevitable leaks and issues that come with a 30+yr old car.. My '93 5dr hatch has the 2E 8V motor and I was planning to do the 1.8T conversion. Looking forward to see what you do with yours. Cheers again from New Zealand. (PS We have to get our vehicles WOF (MOT) every 6months, and they need re-certified by an Engineer if we fit coil-overs or do engine swaps. This then locks you into a certified ride height, wheels size etc.....)
Cams and throttle bodies 😂❤ Change that horrible blue on the interior to something darker to match the hood, or..... some nice material. Denim? Looks like you've picked up a beauty. Love the Mk3's. Had 2, both white. 1.8 4 door and a 2ltr cab.
I bought a mk2 a couple months back and on my drive home I noticed the clutch slipping when applying throttle in high gears. I thought it's clutch and started saving. A mechanic mate helped me rebuilding the carb over the weekend and noticed my clutch cable that the previous owner had replaced right before selling, wasnt fitted properly and the free play wasn't correctly calculated. Once we reinstalled it properly, my clutch issues is a thing of the past. It will still probably need a new one sometime. But not as soon as I thought.
I've always fancied a cab, but we just finished our 20vt mk2 after a 20yr sleep. I'm looking forward to the mods, buddy. Also, your videos are great. Keep it up.
I believe you'll find the paint code in the front behind the fender lining on the passenger side 'aqua blue pearl' ... I have the same mk3, same spec and colour too, 😅 I felt a bit offended when you said "budget build"
I've got it, it's in the boot on mine. Wow no way you'll have to send me pictures of my Instagram 😂😂my bad i was referring budget build to how much I can spend onit
Awesome work on this Fella, bostin camera handling much more professional. We are looking forward to seeing what you do with the cab as we still have ours.
Ah Yes! Mk3 golf cabriolet again. That would be aqua blue Pearl for sure LC5U. Same as mine which I absolutely love. Interior wise recaro's of course! Maybe you could do a nice alcantara job! Looking forward to seeing it taken care of by you
I'll finish this one 😂 It is aqua blue I checked out the sticker in the boot. Such a nice colour! Recaros are a must! Definitely consider suede as its a cheaper version to alcantara Thanks for the nice comment dude
So glad to see a MK3! thank you!

you can do a high compression 2.0 8v with 288 cams with vernier pully and exhaust system would be cool.
It's a possibility 🤔
Cams and throttle bodies 😂❤

Ohhhh I see, definitely worth looking into, I think the mk3s are automatic tensioned cable so I'm not sure
Very nice 👌 I like the interior to be fare, but I'm sure you'll do something pretty cool 😎
Got some good ideas 👌🏾

Ne too man I've missed them!!
Hi. What is that hoover blower thing you're using to get the water out from the trim after you washed the car..?
I can't remember the name I bought it years ago, I got it off amazon so might be worth trying, car dryer or something
@@Project7YT nice one bud. Recently discovered your channel and really enjoy your content. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
@Propaganda79 thanks dude 🙏🏾
Mystic blue LC5L
It does look like it but I've checked the sticker and it's aqua blue
Convertible seat color concept blue
Very nice. I'm also considering something custom aswell
Is mk2 sold
No not yet
oh and i love the 300 budget idea
Got to keep it interesting, see how I manage to pull this off 😂
Nice car!

Does the engine mod begin with a s by any chance 👀
Ahh who knows 🤷🏾♂️ could begin with a t aswell
The color is perfect don't change it.
It's got to be one of my favourite vw colours 👌🏾
@Project7YT I would buy the blue interior when you are ready to sell it
Have you got mk3 interior to swap?

Your thinking of trading your Mk2 for a VR6 Corrado? That’s insane, but I get it. I‘ve always wanted a scirrocco S with a Zender kit 16v
Corrado is much better 👌🏾
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
😁
You should watch christian smith
Yeah he makes good content
@@Project7YThe is a p3do, got caught a while ago
Big mk3 fan had a few cabrio have few bits, message me and hopefully I can help.
You have Instagram?
@@Project7YT I do don’t use it really but I did send you an email.
how the fuck did u get that for £1100
They're out there, it does need work to be fair
You’ve paid it cheap
I think i got a decent deal to be fair, They usually go for about £800-£2000.
