    The 17’s, you have on there, look great and aren’t stolen like Honda’s 19’s
    You may want to consider keeping them on, especially with the fuel eco you’re achieving 👍

    the changes you made make that car look 100% better but yeah I agree to change the rims. 19" will look great plus the stock rims on hybrids are always ugly AF.

    How do you disable the center bar led animation? And can you disable it only after you let go of the brakes? Any issues with the V9 tail lights so far? Thanks!

    • @Alextube121
      @Alextube121  ปีที่แล้ว

      Keep in mind it has the Touring wiring harness which is the only version to have the inner brake LEDs light up. Therefore, I only connected the LED Bar wiring to the inner trunk lid Tail lights. I do not think other models will activate the braking mechanism of the LED bars from the inner tail lights. You would need to run the wire down past the lid hinges to the outer Tail light assembly connectors for non Touring models.
      To disable the center LED bar animation you would need to cut the white wire on both sides. You would also lose the start up animation. I do not think you can disable the annimation only on the braking reset.
      The center LED bar is also capable of turn signal illumination, but that too would require the wiring to be run to the outer tail lights for ALL Models. I only wanted the yellow turn signals from the V9 tail lights.

    Did your changed out the Grill yourself and did you had a professional do it?

      I did it myself, and it was not that hard. There are instructions on TH-cam on how to remove the front grill for this gen accord. Originally I was just going to buy the black plastic piece that covers the chrome portion, but it would be just putting a bandaid on the problem. This is a complete redesigned grill (top portion) by Honda, that removes the entire chrome strip.

      @@hitomtom4278 I used this one mainly:
      th-cam.com/video/RsIo48VXQM0/w-d-xo.html
      But I also used several others as reference during the process. For example this guy did not need to remove the bottom plastic piece shown at 4:19. That piece can stay and just remove the bumper part. But reference other videos (there are many) to get an exact picture of what to do. It really is not that hard.

    College hills tried to charge me $130 for shipping. It’s so stupid, but the grille looks nice

      Yes their shipping cost is insane. I was lucky to buy it on black Friday when they had free shipping. Maybe they will negotiate the S&H a bit. I cannot hurt to try.

    Thankfully Honda DID NOT look at their design the way you did. Go and get yourself a 23, AND enjoy when you are forced to replace your Hybrid battery. LOL

    • @Alextube121

      The general consensus from consumers, has been that the front end unibrow and rear stapler tail lights were a failed design. We had ordered a 2023 touring in white to replace our 2018 Camry XLE. When our 2023 accord arrived at the dealership, we looked at it and walked away. I want to love the new gen, but I cannot get past the tamed down design. We may take another look at the accord in 2024 to see if Honda makes any improvements to the exterior. Also I read some comments that said for the 11th gen accord the color is everything. Apparently the darker colors look much better in person. The next gen Camry is definitely a possibility as well. But I am keeping this 2020 accord forever. Best car ever!

      @@billtshudy3653 Agreed! I, like many others, am quite disappointed with the styling of this new 11th gen accord. I am an accord man but this new design has given me some pause. At least enough to wait until 2024 to see what the new Camry looks like, or if Honda will do anything to enhance the 11th gen design.

    • @Alextube121
      @Alextube121  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@billtshudy3653 you should really consider the front end grill replacement. It looks amazing in person. Honda recognizes their design flaw, which is why Honda made this alternate front end replacement piece. This is a HONDA original part. Plus the touring headlights stand out visually much better with the new grill piece.
