    I like the design of the honda accord 2023/24. It looks less childish, not so aggressive, kind of has the old vibe of the older hondas with a tiny bit of tron looking style. The interior is really nice too. Really has black as its theme.

    Bought one five weeks ago and looks like I see the same uneven hood issue on yours too. Take a look from front. Front of the hood on passenger side is higher the driver side. Definitely mine is worse. Took it back to dealership and looks like they can’t do anything. I am in communication with Honda headquarter to see what can they do. The day I was dropping my car at dealership, had chance to go around new arrivals and what I saw was shocking 🙁three of high trims had the same issue specially one was really bad. Outside of the car doesn’t look very interesting but inside is very nice. Driver seat is not too comfortable also. I am 62 and drove many different brands. My last car was a civic and never complained about the seat . It’s been almost five weeks driving it to work every day about 55 miles one way and have to adjust the seat three or four times . Just can’t find the right spot. Sure is the design. There are more drivers on the internet and TH-cam that complaining.

I had a 20 Accord Touring as well but sold it for profit and to wait for this new one but I got disappointed. Also vents seats on Honda and Acura are trash compare to other brands. • @harisqureshi7469
      @harisqureshi7469 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Im not the one who posted the video; but I will give my insight. I have a 2023 Accord Sport-Hybrid, the cheapest way to get into the hybrid with an MSRP of about $33,000 compared to the touring being $39,500.
      I have 16,500 miles on mine right now and my daily commute is congested traffic (more changes for the car to go into EV Mode) and I don't really get a chance to exceed 65MPH on my commute. I do about 600 miles a week like I said, congested traffic, I DONT use adaptive cruise control because I like to keep a little more distance (in the slow (right) lane) in bumper to bumper traffic and with full regen braking its smooth. I average about 55 MPG according to the car but manually calculated its about 52 MPG. The fuel tank is 12.8 gallons and I wait till my range gets to 0- it still had one gallon of reserve and I fill up 11.5 gallons of 87 gas- to go 600 miles. What a blessing. I'd say $30 per week on gas but keep in mind I too do about 35,000 miles a year. So to only spend $120 a month on gas, maintenance is minimal (free for the first 2 years but I do mine myself) so I never have the car "down" at the dealership for maintenance, and with the Honda link app I can turn the car on in advanced and have it nice and cool or warm before I hop in. The interface is flawless, wireless apple car play and android auto work every time, some people say the non bose (so the Sport- sport- EXL) have bad audio systems but I turned my treble and bass and midrange up a bit and I don't have any issues, truly. The ride is nice, but I advise if you don't need the touring, to look into the EXL Model, as it has 17 inch wheels to take bad roads and BETTER MPG. I don't say I regret getting the base sport (I got mine for under MSRP and I prefer cloth as TX gets super hot) and like stated earlier, with the miles I drive, cloth might fare better over time as I plan on keeping this car for at least 5-7 years. I don't have any complaints for this car except that if you do, a lot of highway that is higher average MPH (80-85) you will see 35-40MPG if you're LUCKY. I'm "lucky"? I guess lol to sit in traffic and congested roads to where my car is able to go into EV mode more, but in all honesty, 35-40MPG if you do a lot of highway at higher speeds, isn't terrible at all. This car is super safe too, and the backseats are huge. 0 complaints and hiccups in the 16,500 miles I've already put on! Best of luck with your search.

      @Alvin Simba I have the last generation too. Not surprised, the tires of the last generation were all so good looking, much better than all of these of this new generation. Honda really dropped the ball on these wheels, it's too bad its risky to switch them.

    • @alvinsimba734
      @alvinsimba734 ปีที่แล้ว

      @geo8658333 so all you need is peace of mind so the wheels that are stock for 2023 just leave them as is. Myself I have a different brand and my 2020 corolla LE has steelers for wheels with stock rim covers which are ok for an average person but the only good thing about that particular trim is the tire size which is perfect for that ride quality and it's 16 inch tires by the way. The 18s looks good but those potholes would love you for lunch and ride quality especially on that corolla on 18s, you don't wanna know. Also remember in Accord case, those wheels reflect the price point.

      There are things I like about the design but overall I feel this car is a pretty weak sell. In my opinion if you meshed all the best elements of the 9th, 10th, and 11th gens together you would have a good looking car. It’s just the 11th gen as it stands lacks any kind of identity and feels too corporate and soulless.

    Are the gas savings enough to justify the price of the hybrid battery when it dies? I always think hybrids aren’t for long term ownership.

    • @nathanpayne5009
      @nathanpayne5009 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      100,000 miles at $5 a gallon saves you $13,000 over a 20mpg vehicle. Hybrid battery replacement likely won't hit until 150k+ and would cost $14,000+. So you are essentially borrowing from your future with present day gas savings. If your car already gets 30mpg, the gas savings is indeed not worth it.

    • @carlosmcse
      @carlosmcse 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nathanpayne5009 I’ll stick with regular engines then. My 2012 civic will go 300,000 miles without needing anything for sure. Certainly not anything that costs $14,000. Basically you own the hybrids until the hybrid battery dies and then you buy a new car.

      @@carlosmcse Essentially. Some DIY mechanics are good at replacing cells in the battery and some people get 200k out of the battery.
