Heads up, when looking at a Blueprint, there's a new button in the bottom left block which usually has the ship's AS, AA, and Siege DPM data (the button is in the tp right corner). That will list off all the "Strategies" the ship is capable of, including flagship ones. I've tried to throw AA Hussars in fleets as flagship to see if their AA strategy will trigger against the AI. But I can't get it to work, be it me sending a fleet with no planes, with a handful of fighters/vettes (fewer than the enemy fleet) or with an air superiority fleet. On the battle result bug. It was probably a server side patch, didn't need anything on the player's end.
this meta is basically for whales, and not the normal size whales, the kind of solar whale scale with a lot to spend in. looks more like they need more money, my personal opinion.
Well they blizzard pulled out on them recently didn't they. Pretty sure it was net ease dealing with the Chinese wow servers and everything else, including working on a wow2 I believe...
They did alot of graphics and model updates over the last 1-2 patches. For example the Jaeger Heavy Cannon has its Prow Railgun Battery now in 2 large rotating Gun Battery Turrets on the prow. Looks really badass in comparison to the weird prow guns
@@Damphyre to be honest, i´ll have to search too^^ only noticed the Jaeger HC because i am testing it in my DPM fleet and was allocating points to it.. But yeah the explosions are notably better. Same with aircraft and corvette strafing runs, weapons fire etc.
I can just imagine some people building 100% anti aircraft fleets to just send them in the strike zone of the enemy and neutralize all their aircraft That being Xeno AA, Mare T AA, winged hussar, AC721 missile type, light cone AA etc They finally have more use!
Not sure if the bug was fixed now. But at launch day, the aircraft cruising speed buff on CV3K works for CV3K as well. So you can get CV3K to go around 800ish speed.
@@andrewcore7672 Takes 40 Tp for the skill though, which isn't a small amount for some players. Least they could do is let me remove the "Focus Fire" strategy that literally everything seems to have. Additionally, they've just got them oddly places. EG the Ceres Carrier variant has the strike, but the DB Guardian, Tundra Air, and 721 Air don't. Instead the Support Guardian and Tundra get strikes for some odd reason. KCCPV2 air can't do strikes either.
@@Nikarus2370 yes it is tp expensive but it's more for carriers to sit back and launch swarms of vettes and bombers. The guardian and tundra just put one support in with the air variant as the flag ship if you need too. Ceres Jaeger and predator have it because they are designed as counter carrier ships in game if you look at the air craft you would be using in them like loyals newlands vitas a jambaiya. You want you AA fighters in your main flt. They don't do much during the strike
Not sure if anyone pointed this out, but when you were talking about not getting why certain fighters/corvettes go out with other certain types of corvettes/fighters it literally says at the top of the screen where it shows you the waves, "Aircraft that have similar weapon durations and CDs will be placed in the same formation for strategic strikes." and it looks like it caps out at 20 craft per wave, and I am assuming formation = wave though would be kind of nice if that wording was better. One thing I am interested to know is if strategic strikes will incorporate UAV's. If they do include UAV's then it would make sense for the Tundra and the Guardian support maybe if UAV's can heal aircraft? I dunno....
Yeah so that description still doesn't make sense when you look what goes out in the waves as I've had bombers with long cooldown going out the same time as T800s which have short cooldowns. But no uavs do not go with the strike fleets unfortunately.
They do occasionally roll a patch out without announcing it. I've seen several times that data was downloaded at the title screen even if it wasn't patch day (though I did not see such a thing today?). They probably "hot"-fixed the Strategic Strike rewards without down time...
Will you be doing testing for the Winged hussar Anti-Air variant soon? I remember seing it and wanting it, I have it now, and I watched the tutorial afterward where you snub it real good. You didn't mention the fact that it is front row and only defends same row, and I was going to but didn't end up recommending some form of front-line tanking fleet so that the only targets would be front row, with (carrier) ST59s and Spears, Io/Chimera, and Aldabra/Taurus to cover the Hussar for targeting priority. I'm glad to see it get the flagship upgrade, can't wait to see if it works!
Yeah oddly tested it last night and didn't see any difference. However that was a test to see if the command would work with no aircraft in fleet. I'll be testing again with minimal aircraft in fleet today when I find time. Since its front row though, you got a very good chance of losing it.
@@Damphyre I meant the whole fleet is front row tank fleet, at max CP, you have the Chimera/Io/Chaos for DPM and tank, Carilion Special, and Taurus/Aldabra to take the heat from anything with destroyer priority, and reinforce the lovely ST59s with hangars for Spore and the like. But that really doesn't matter anymore if the Hussar anti-air strat works.
I'm so sorry, they added command modules in changes how destroyers and frigates work. Now I'm confused on the ship guide videos that you put out, is there going to be a short update video addressing those?
Is it possible the SS systems on the base Tundra and Guardian mean SS also work with UAVs? So long as the mothership has the command programmed in of course? I've clearly not tested SS on Guardian or Tundra; has anyone given it a go?
will you please tell the devs that the increases build time and 30000 uecoins per system reset are bad for the game and all players especially new ones, there is no reason that this should have ever gone through.
Probably taurus tbh. Cheaper to get out and are pretty good damage dealers for very low CP. The spear you need far more TP to be competitive with. 5 spear reinforcing though is really good.
Do the upgrades on the carrier hangars still be in effect on the aircraft when you use the strategic strike ability? Edit: I think the ability on support ships like Guardian, Tundra, and even Ceres has got to do with the UAVs they have, particularly the anti air UAV. I'm not entirely certain but I've checked NOMA M470 (support frigate) it doesn't have neither anti air UAVs nor the strategic strike ability. Conclusion: Anti air UAVs will be utilised like in strategic strike, the question if this is even effective or it's a mistake
another thing that i noticed s tundra has command point on the base healing variant not on the aircraft one same for the guardian, pretty trolling this... both healing support have the aircraft strategy of the command bridge i hope they will fix it
@@santaboy4818 well they put on the base type that have uavs, maybe this will be fixed cause make no sense at all. meanwhile in the ceres that the base variant is the aircraft type is in there.
Yeah try get mining platforms up etc so you don't need to use operations for mining. That's usually were you lose the most and try get as many asteroids in ops that are mine able.
@@Damphyre the docking ports that offer an increased cap or +8 are nice but always for a defensive position on a random large city. Attackers are going to struggle to use this new feature unless specific ppl that are planned to use it in their orgs.

You really need fast fleets to counter Airstrikes. Before it's activated, you should attack it, if you can find it.

The concept of the strategic strike is super cool, however the execution is definitely a mixed bag. The enhancements for them are TP heavy after all

Already had someone try to use a Strategic Strike on my aircraft swarm fleet- needless to say it was harmless.
Yeah I think you need to be using it in conjunction with allies and other fleets. Imagine a allies swarm fleet backed up by it as an example.

Yeah it's not great. 100% build times because you've maxed out a ship is nuts. I think they need to remove the hp buff as well.
