How fun, I given up on the game a year ago and youtube show me your vid. It seems there are still people who plays it. I loved it, but the devs really go into a bad direction and not even try to fix the main problems.... And everyone left whom I played with. It makes me sad, I had some good memories with it.
It's not as chaotic as it used to be before. But there's still a LOT of players and we keep getting a pretty consistent new player base too so it's far from dying still.

the only problem i have with it is the lackluster capabilities of AA, barely being able to do anything against aircraft, otherwise the game is pretty great

I think new meta is heavy fleet cruiser+. Still testing though.
I heard there are changes made to the privateer bases, instead of them being destroyed complete, they now provide bonus and stuff like how the rescue server does with captor bases, if its true, can you make a video on that, pretty interested to see it.
I think its a choice. Dock and control them like in this video and get bonuses like x minerals every so many times a day. Or kill the pirate base and dock your base or outpost to gain different effects.
Second interesting
After watching the aux ship changes right after pulling an fsv830 this morning, I must say I am feeling a little bit sad. It's OK though because I pulled a cv3k missile mod from the ue coim box right after.
oo nice pull I run the missiles on the cv3k myself its not bad AA tbh.
@@Damphyre True, though I am doubtful that it would ever be viable enough to replace my AA Hussars with something more Anti-ship based.
@@GammaPlebWell it's not suppose to replace a full AA ship, it's just support.
@@SilvaDreams exactly. That missile system seems to have some of the best interception capability in the game. Some of the interception stats you'll see are insane, even with just 10 TP in the mod.
Well 10percent plus prefabs is equivalent to more prefabs cause be using couple less
The 10% only take effect if y our basement is docked to it though

How did you start youtube
Flailing about with no idea wtf I was doing. Actually nothing has changed 🙃. But I started off with some co op games that failed epicly with a mate who also wanted to start youtube. Then I got into a game called galaxy reavers 2 and did tutorials vids on that. Then IL was the natural progression from GR2, I want to add more game reviews and other games to the channel, but can't find time with working full time etc as well unfortunately, so stuck with just IL atm.
