Glad you gave this box a try. This is the box several of us told Steve to give a couple of months with after his first one was kind of shakey. They are generally pretty consistent. You know what frog fur will catch? Every thistle, thorn, seed, dry weed, and gooey piece of moss you pull it through. They eye on the bottom actually is an interesting idea. That is a pretty impressive box indeed. I would use every bait in there. It's a rare occurrence to have every lure in a sub box be something you'd be happy to fish with. The Wakebull is a fantastic lure. I have a ghost bluegill one that crushes on my pond. The frog does look a bit gimmicky with the frog fur but I looked it up on TW out of curiosity and the customer reviews seem to be mostly impressed with it. The eye on the belly is a neat idea too.

That box beat the pants off MB this month.
I thought the frog fur was stupid too, but after playing with it a bit and thinking about how a basses lip is rough, maybe it would grab its lip a bit more then just plastic.. this months box was pretty decent.
I’ve never used it but the Velcro is meant for more involuntary rather than voluntary mouth sticking. As in it gets caught on the rough edges of bass mouths, rather than them liking the feel of it. May be unnecessary but it’s something that can only help and not hurt 🤷🏻♂️

Yes, I’m sure that’s the intent. I just doubt that it really improves the hook up ratio of a normal frog or more companies would be doing it. That being said, I’m going to try it out and if it’s a game changer I will definitely share that info.
What line do you use for a wake bait?
I don’t care a whole lot about the type of line, because of the retrieve speed. It usually doesn’t really matter. However, if I am planning on using a specific line for the week bait, I am usually starting with mono. Wake Baits I have trouble hooks generally And mono helps. Braid is also an option.
