Realy nice Pictures from this tiny camera. I like older Digicams too and I have little collection. I use them all for landscape photo walks. It´s a lot of fun :-). With greetings from lower Bavaria
Great shots! This exact Camedia D40 was my first digital camera, purchased in 2001... Have you tried taking macros? I have plenty of high-end cameras but I loved the ease of macros with the D40... macros are the reason I regretted giving it up for the next shiny thing a couple of years later, and why I re-purchased it on ebay. My "new" one has been through the ringer though, whereas yours looks brand new, instead of 22 years old!
@@y2kshots316 I would also love a tutorial !! I just got the camera and freaking out because it’s quite old and the manual is a bit overwhelming 😭 If you can’t make a video I completely understand! could you write a bit on 1. How you found a smart media sd card 2. How you transfer the photos to your laptop 3. If you have any cords / accessories you suggest buying also? Thank you so much 😭
Dude I love this SO MUCH!!!! the format, the shots, the camera. Keep making vids!!!
Thank you! I’m so glad you like it. Look what OMTC made me do. 🤣

The digicam and the photographer are both very talented! Incredible pictures for such an old tool. Very inspiring!
Thank you so much! Hope you come back for more! Better yet, hope to see some of your work soon!!
This is great! Looking forward to more of your videos!
Thank you!! I’m in the process of another one! A little different but still Digi!!
Great first video! Can’t wait for future videos
Thank you so much!! More are coming up! I’m very thankful for the support!

This little cam is so fun to use! I’ll have to make another walk with it soon. Thank you so much for watching!!🙌
Exposure bracketing is the precursor of HDR. In film days I think they used techniques like dodge and burn to control shadows and highlights.
Exactly! I just slightly underexpose. These sensors didn’t have the best ability to bring up shadows
is my eyes going crazy or does this digicam has great dynamic range
Yes! That was my most shocking discovery! The fact that it has such dynamic range for being 5mp
Fun video and very cute dog!
Thank you!! She’s a little stinker 🐶

I have no clue why I never advertised my ig but yes! it’s @y2k_shots
I’ll have to start adding that to my videos
do you still edit the photos or it is raw? Love your videos btw.Thank you!
Thank you very much! Yes I do edit. I’m making another video with this camera and showing both original AND edited images

Nah… he’s from Europe somewhere. I can see where you got that impression and though. 🤷♂️😂
Which camera?? What's the price???
Are you Indian, because you look a little Indian??
😅 this is called the Olympus c40, I’m Mexican-American. I can totally see why you say that though. 😂
