I received this camera when I graduated University in 2003. I lived in Korea prior. The pictures from this camera were very distinct from the images I have taken since with various other cameras. A bit more vulnerable and harsh. I keep going back to those pictures when 'remembering' my 7 years in Korea as a teacher. They actually feel like they reflect what I saw or remember seeing. The nighttime images also relay the dancing, drinking and age of the subjects. There is one particular picture from my birthday, just another day for everyone else, but it is a composite of color and movement and a friend looking into the camera... It looks how I felt that night. I love this camera. It is more than nostalgia. It is the quality of the images.
