You can use the analog but if you wanna be more consistent in the long run you’re gonna wanna practice with the pad a lot, I used to only used the L stick for half circles but I practiced the input on pad enough to nail it about 90% of the time online. It all just comes down to practice tbh especially if fighting games weren’t your cup of tea b4 fighterz gl dude

THANK YOU GLOBKU, you’re the reason why I started playing dragon ball Fighterz, and if it wasn’t for you, I love fighting games but they get stale after a while, but this game is different since I always find something new in this game, it is now my favorite fighting game
The Moon Jump reminds me of Mega Man X, the game that really got me into gaming: by hitting Dash the moment you jump, you can carry the starting momentum of your jump. Extremely useful when wall-climbing, as you can rocket from one side of the screen to the other.
I play with a hitbox and just started learning to play with the jump button under my thumb so each direction is a different finger. Can't wait to mess around with that moon jump and see if I can do it easier/differently.
Amazing tutorial, I didn't know about superjump iad nor jumpback iad and I had heard about moon jumps in a tournament but Didn't hear an explanation. Thnx Globku ^^
I know all of these but the moon jump I constantly use all these techniques but moon jump and jump back iad(I play on pad) because I thought that moon jumping and jump back iad served no purpose to me until I watched this video, thank you globku for uploading this video and making me aware of the purpose of these techniques.
After 5H, superdash when they hit the corner of the screen and the camera goes back to normal Go 66 jM as soon as you contact them, then dash-jump (669) when the animation of the jM plays
So tip for moon jump as he said hold one of the attacks buttons and make sure to sync the bottoming out of the trigger button with the second movement of the super jump also make sure it is from the 1or 2 position then to the 9 position that’s the way i have found the most consistent success. Also to add on for my muscle memory and all it seems it is best start to the trigger pull around when your thumb is in the middle after it hits the 1 or 2 position but before it hits the 9 position. Pull r2 down once you are around middle of the joystick around the 5 position is when you should start. They have to be as close to simultaneous it seems so that’s what you should aim for. You can be certain you hit if you get as far back as possible and you still cross over the enemy when they haven’t moved from their starting position
For the moon jump i find the trick to being more consistent is to press easy dash as im inputting the forward motion before hitting jump, as if u were sprint jumping just except ur performing a super jump hope I explained this well ,it really helps
I just picked up the game seriously after playing it at a friend's place. Currently playing through the story and getting all kinds of bad habits because I felt like the good stuff was beyond me, and my best chance was to cheese the AI. But your videos makes me feel like I could do it, I could get better. So, instant air dash, here I come.
Thank god I have been trying to do mid screen cross ups for the longest time but they never connected know I know that I needed to be doing the jump back instant air dash to make that possible
For all of you joystick users, I instant air dash by tilting my joystick forward up and forward again (686 when facing right). You can't tilt your joystick down when doing this or it won't work. I don't know if it this helped you or not but if it did you're welcome
#4 w/o dash input is forward on the ground, then up back to jump, the forward to dash. So 6, 7, 6. Easier on stick if you don't have a button for dash macro.
The moon jump is honestly the hardest thing I’ve been trying to learn and I will admit the tips you gave I believe will help me thx a bunch. Ex I never knew you hold L or M to do the moon jump
One thing he didn´t mention is that if you use the superdash button for IAD it will increase the recovery for it, increasing the time for amove to come out, so, indeed, practice with the D-pad
I got wrecked by someone I suspect is pro in dbfz and I had no idea that jump was a "moon jump" I got destroyed at far distances consistently by that. Thank you Globku!

5:25 Dude, I googled so much to find where I can learn how to do the superjumps IADs 4ways mixups (Practicing Krilin), and I was trying to hold 9 or weird shit like that that didn't work. I remember you had a video talking about that and I finally found it and now I know I can practice the right way (7 for same side overhead, 1 for same side low, **nothing** for crossup overhead, **nothing into 1 for crossup low). Please for SEO, you should name your videos better or something :D And more tricks please! DBFZ is just an awesome game and I'm loving the new patch!

I can do most of these on the d-pad i dont think the problem is the speed most of the time its the timing ive notice the game has moments where inputs dont register so if you jump and double forward in this window the dash won't come out. The timing is so annoying (i just got the game two days ago if your wondering)

The fact that the game is in season 3 is the perfect reason you should buy it now, mostly everyone that plays it agrees that its never been more balanced than it is right now you can basically pick any character you want and learn it, as for controller stuff thats where i cant help much lol but yeah definitely worth buying the game if youre a fan of either dragon ball games or fighting games in general it excels in both of those aspects
