It's all fun and games until local police decide they had enough of you joyriding on youtube and start calculating the distance in the video and measuring time. In Switzerland they will do exactly this and a friend of mine almost got his 2M $ car inpounded before they managed to hide it and the driver was left 48 hours in a cell without food or water. He is now being threatened with jail time and 60k $ in fines.
I really love this car. Good car thats not too aggressive as a super car, wont attract as much attention as a red ferrari. Aston/AMG make a great sports car. There are a few that I see on the roads, they sound amazing.
@@dariopiovani5077 I think the older models had the v12 but currently the option of a v12 was removed sadly. At least they kept the manual, a 7 speed dogleg as well. Where do you even find that these days?!?

These can be had for insanely competitive 2 year agreements in the UK, around £25k, which is far less than the depreciation would be over the same period. I guy I worked with up until earlier this year dailys one as his company car, and even with the pandemic has already put around 15k miles on it with no issues - I really think this era vantage will go down as the best - its just an added bonus that it is also available in manual

I have a 2021 Vantage in Skyfall Silver all black leather interior and switches with black pack exterior and callipers. It’s genuinely the best looking car on the road and gets a lot of attention from everyone. Also drives like a dream. It’s really quite civilised but if you floor the accelerator it’s like entering warp speed, especially from 50-120 mph it’s bloody instant. Lovely gurgles and pops when in track mode too.
@Ted, dude thanks for including what the Vantage interior smells like. Burlington Coat, Parada, Gucci. I always wondered if you would actually smell the high quality leather as soon as you open the door. I have a W204 C63 with Nappa Leather and it never gave off that highend leather smell/scent. Yeah my car is 9 years old and it could have disapated or I could have gone nose blind. LOL
GORGEOUS! The only thing it lacks is a manual transmission, with a proper stick shirt. Stunning Aston, and with the accompanying repair and maintenance costs that will make Bill Gates 🤮.
I don't mind the AMG drivetrain and underpinnings, it's quite awesome actually. However the design language leaves much to be desired, it looks like a Instagram flex instead of a classy Gran Tourer.
@@siddharthsharma8940 I quite like the DBS and DB11 because they have the signature smooth long lines of old Astons, but still too flashy for a posh GT car. But the Vantage is a total dissapointment in this regard.
I don't know if you used underpinnings as a figure of speed but although it has an AMG derived engine, everything else is Aston. I'm not trying to start an argument it's just I've seen some people get mixed up 👍
Rev counter moves the right way again 🙌 Interior looks sexy AF but the instrument cluster looks out of place in an Aston. BTW that driver's side door isn't hung properly. I wouldn't accept that in a car this expensive 😂 Gap at the top is wider than at the bottom.
Count me as one of those who were disappointed. The lower go-fast plastic on the exterior is terrible. Ruins an otherwise clean design. The interior design isn’t good enough for the price. The design of the outgoing Vantage was so much more classic.

the exterior of this car makes it one of my favourite looking cars ever, but the interior isn't anything special. Sound is very "nice" but rather boring compared to the older astons

Dual exhausts are available as the sport exhaust option. This car is equipped with the standard exhaust system.

Best thing on this car is the AMG engine. Extensively proven in numerous AMG models and now on the AMs.

I like astons but the bezel around the infotainment screen has always bothered me (even though its wrapped in leather)
In my DB11 I can spin 1st through the top of 4th in the dry! 😂 it’s smiles per mile
