Any recipe I tried from Jenne was simple and tasty with minimal ingredients. I appreciate how she skips most of the fake meat alternatives that are ultra processed and less nutritionally dense than their meat counterparts. Great energy you can see how much that food brings her joy :)
She's very whole foods and that makes it easy for me out here in rural East Europe to use her recipes. She does use mock meats here and there and that's human. I would too if I could.

Just turned to veganism because of health reasons in September..had some slip ups but really trying to stay with organic whole food plant based way of eating. enjoying your vegan suggestions! you look so radiant and healthy due to your excellent food choices and also the wide variety in your beautiful and colorful veggie bowls. try sharing with schools and governments to change the school lunch programs to include more vegan choices or try to add an actual mandatory class for 7 th-12 th grade students whereby your videos could be incorporated along with teachers showing children all the many many vegetables. This class might also talk about the soil and water and organic farming which may get more children interested in science and climate and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. ps please mention (if you haven t already) to use Only Organic to avoid pesticides and show all the necessary steps in prepping all the veggies the washing and cutting up and how to store leftover veggies…

I use a very similar tofu crumble that I add to marinara sauce for pasta. Don't worry, you don't taste the soy sauce. Delicious. I love that these are realistic weeknight meals!
I have never tried to make anything with Tofu but the 3 bean chili looks good so I might have to try it. Have never heard of the African grain but I like the nutritional value and I have a knock off instapot so I might give it a try if I find it in the store
Tofu is really good, but you have to learn how to cook it. When I first went vegetarian (about 12 yrs ago) I tried it and didnt like the mushy texture. But later tried it again and learned how to cook it, now I love it.

Can you please do a video on tofu? I'm not vegan but like trying new foods. I tried tofu before and it came out really soft. Are you using from 9r 3xtra firm tofu here? Also, you use an airfryer and I don't have one. Do you have alternative methods yo achieve airfryer results?
Hey! I definitely recommend pressing the water out of the tofu. If you know you are stir frying in advance, you can always freeze it then fry it which helps with the texture! Extra firm is the best for air frying imo !

For the chili - pulse some chickpeas in a food processor until they’re broken up into bits and add that. Gives excellent texture!
That's interesting. Do you remove the covering of them add well?
@@einajr I remove the shell or whatever that white hull is every time I make anything with chickpeas…I can’t eat it otherwise
