I am finally an Instant Pot owner and by the end of the week I will own the Food Chopper. I purchased it before I saw your video to make my meal prep a little easier. Thanks for this.
I am so happy to see your videos again too!! 💜 You forgot a blender!! Haha My Vitamix is my baby. That is probably my favorite appliance ever. I use it to make smoothies, soups, ground nuts-seeds, nice-cream, creamy nuts to add to soups (instead of coconut milk), and so many more things!!! Thanks for the video!
I know!! It was considered. I have a longer list in my upcoming cookbook. Poor blender had to take a back seat to the immersion blender...though I do use my blender every single day 🥰
I got an enamel lined cast iron pot from Aldi for only £25 (I live in the UK). It was such a bargain and is so good! Definitely recommend them for their versatility
Wow I got the same one from lidl here in nyc and I swear by it. What a bargain and it has already lasted longer than my uncoated one that I didn’t know how to take care of at the time 😅
I have all sorts of kitchen tools and small appliances that I use as needed, but what I use every single day is my electric kettle and coffee press. I've never bought an iron skillet because all of mine are antique family heirlooms.
This is crazy that I found this, I was hoping to find a list exactly like this! I see vegan recipes and theyll talk about an "instant pot" and all sorts of these ive never even heard of!😂 Edit: Literally first thing you mentioned hahaha
Hey Sis!! Shalom when’d you get back??? Anyways I’m so glad your back!! 😂🙋🏽♀️ Edit to say, I’ve had my cuisiart food processor for 22 years! I recently had to replace the bowl, but it was totally my fault, I was cooking 🧑🏿🍳 while very tired and I misused the appliance! Don’t do that with the older stuff because it’s not easy to get replacement parts!! 😅
Wow I'm early! :) Just moved into my first apartment and this video came right on time! Happy to see you posting regularly again - hope you're well! edit to add after watch: the first thing I bought was a vitamix!
Yay! Thanks for commenting early, and for watching 💗 Vitamix or other high speed blender is a must. I have the KitchenAid Pro Line. I love that these appliances last decades! Congratulations on your new home!
One of my favorite tool is my Vitamix. It doesn't matter how fibrous the veg is it liquefies everything. I like to make kale shakes and smooth soups. It is amazing. It's the only way to get my husband to eat veggies. I throw liquid flavor and it tastes good enough for my lucky man to eat. Also, a coffee grinder. I don't use it for coffee I use it for fresh dried spices and anything I need fine powdered.
I love when you share your kitchen essentials. I purchased the Kitchenaid Go food chopper because I don’t always want to pull out my 14-cup Cuisinart food processor (even though I love it). I also picked up a hand mixer that’s part of the Go line since I don’t have a mixer and needed one.
@@SweetPotatoSoul I have two clay pots. One is a Japanese donabe and the other is from Amazon. I rather like cats so the Amazon one is black with cartoon cats on it. I use it to make my vegetable stock. It’s bigger than my Dutch oven. I have not tried the Mexican pots yet.
Yay, Jenne’ you’re back! 💕 Hope your 2nd cookbook is about vegan air fryer recipes since that’s your favorite. 😉 I love my Le Creuset dutch oven and Vitamix blender. Adding to your list is the Nama J2 juicer. It makes pulp free juices, plant milks, soup base, sorbet and juicing lemons and oranges with skin on a breeze. All three are worth every penny and make kitchen tasks so much easier.
MY DEAR, thanks so much again! I knew somehow about a thing like the instant pot but not that one. My came yesterday and I love it sooo much! 😍😍😍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thanks a lot for your inspiration! As well for your inspiration for an airfryer I bought some time ago. 🙂 Big hug from Germany! 😍🇩🇪
Thank you! 😍😍 I really love those kind of videos about tools! I have different tools and also love my santoku knife. The instant pot looks interesting to me. 😍 Really looking for your next one, love them as well. 🙂 Have a good weekend! 🙏🏻🇩🇪
Loved this episode! I trust your cookware recommendations, I’ve been a fan since 2015 or 2016 can’t remember but you’ve taught me so much! Thanks for this helpful episode.
I love your recipes -- have made lots of them. As for knife sharpening I have tried so many. Finally bought the one Brod and Taylor offers. It's great, easy to use, ...
My fave is my heavy-duty cast iron skillet by Emeril Lagasse, 12 years plus & seasoned after each use. Best decision switching to wooden cooking utensils! On my wish list are a food processor & Kitchenaide standmixer with the glass bowl.
Was just wondering if you would be recommending an instant pot since my rice cooker broke and I am considering an instant pot to replace it. Your number 1 recommendation convinced me right off the bat!
Great question. Spice grinder. Here is an affordable one from Kitchen Aid. I recommend it because the bowls are removable for ease of cleaning Kitchen Aid spice grinder: amzn.to/3RWnyFZ
@@SweetPotatoSoul perfect!! Thanks. Not having one has thrown a kink into things. I had something that used to belong to my mom that I was making due with even though it wasn't great and then it pretty much became useless!!
wakanda foreva…wait what, why do i always get the urge to say that when i see you 🫵🏼 but hey i know like i respect vegan cooks usually and thanks for being vegan
Please do not give me a reason to go to home goods! 😂 love that place!!
Haha, same!!
Hey Sweeties! I hope these tools make your life a little easier. What kitchen tools do you swear by?
Wooden utensils
Dutch oven
Wok
Baking sheet
Sauce pan
Of course the things you mention
Hand held blender for traveling
Vitamix
Breville Airfryer toaster oven
InstantPot
Immersion Blender
Coffee Maker

Wooden spoons are the best!! Love your videos. I will have to get that food chopper!!!
Aren't they!! And they are prettier than plastic and metals one too 😌

Coffee grinder for spices is so great, we always used those in restaurants.
Totally!! Such great tools. A spice grinder should have been on my list. I use mine for spices and flax seed all of the time.

I bought a cast iron enamel lined pot from Lidl for only £25! I use it for almost everything. 🎉🎉🎉
Amazing deal!! We have Lidl here in Atlanta :)
@@SweetPotatoSoul great!
I have had my Cuisinart 11 cup processor since 2008! Now I have it on an appliance caddy so will use it more. Very heavy.
I went plant-base after watching your videos when you use to live in NY, so thank you.
Wow, that's awesome!! Thanks for being here all these years :)
I gotta have a rice cooker and a clay pot. Those are the two items I would add to your excellent list.

Another good place to buy good kitchen appliances for low prices is Marshall's. Yes, I love the wood spoons too.
Yes! The whole Marshall's TJ Maxx family of stores are bomb!
Thanks for sharing!!!! And the home goods rec!

I have alot of these tools & my fav is my food processor but I hate washing it by hand..usually put it dishwasher...the veggie chopper I NEED!😁
I also put my food processor attachments in the dish washer :)
Great tips! Thank you ♥
Thank you. Great video.
My top 3 are my Omega juicer, Instant Pot Pro, and my Ninja Air Fryer.
Love it!
If I had time choose, I’d give up the roaster pot for a Vitamix blender. Couldn’t live without mine.
I'm sure a lot of viewers expected the high speed blender to be in here. My stepmom texted me when I posted this to say she was surprised 😅
Thank you for this.
Thank you for the wonderful information 😊

Thank you.
Wood is best for keeping a good sharp edge to your knives. Plastic and stone will dull the edge.

Totally! And I can't believe that the IP now has an air fryer lid attachment. I'm considering buying it to try it out.
