    Hey man. I do this with the book upside down. That way less likely to see spoilers

      do you mean the pictures upside down? or the pages hanging towards the table?

    • @Omnibuddy
      @Omnibuddy  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Basically, when you stretch the spine, flip the book upside down while you’re doing it so you’re less likely to see/comprehend any spoilers.

    Great video!
    I always look through the book to see the artwork, it never spoils anything for me. Sometimes I buy a book and it'll be months before I get around to reading it, but I definitely want to appreciate it immediately by looking through it thoroughly.

    • @Omnibuddy
      @Omnibuddy  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For sure! It does help when you relax the spine right away, and then you don't get to reading it for months to years later (like myself)! lol

    1000% Agree, Take the Book Cover Off before reading. Cause this is what's going to happen, No matter how careful you can be. It will tear.

    I'm new in the Omnibus reading. Thanks a lot for the video. Helps a lot. I've heard people, saying I should do this several times before reading. Is that necessary? or is it enough when I do it only once?

    • @Omnibuddy
      @Omnibuddy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      welcome to the community! I usually only do it once before reading. And again if it’s been more than 6ish months. Just to be safe.

    Hi, is it normal for parts of the brown cupboard paper material beneath the ribbon to come off at the binding?

    • @Omnibuddy
      @Omnibuddy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you're talking about the brown paper on the inside of the text block that's attached to the block and not the spine, you're fine. That's just there to keep the text block from getting glued to the spine so it can open up and create an eye-hole.

    • @moviepost-mortem0620
      @moviepost-mortem0620 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Omnibuddy yes as shown from the top of your omnibus, the brown paper on the ribbon that looks to be coming off. If so, can I glue it myself or just leave it as it is?

    • @Omnibuddy
      @Omnibuddy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You could glue it if it bothers you but it’s no big deal. Nothing to worry about!

    My ultimate Spider-Man reprint eye isn’t as big as yours in this video should I keep working on it?

    • @Omnibuddy
      @Omnibuddy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could keep working it a bit but if it has a decent eyehole and it’s readable, I’d just leave it be and enjoy. It’ll loosen over time as you read it too.
