I just got my hardcover. The ART. The level of detail would be overwhelming or grotesque if also applied to the people, but instead since the people are simple it makes the detail world around them so engaging. Like I have made it a couple chapters in because I keep stopping to look at all the little things in every single panel. I love oversize hardcovers, but this is too tall for my oversize-hardcover bookshelf.
Oh, man. The details and shading are incredible! Yeah, it's more of a Library Edition size, so it's a big boy. Hope you find a good spot for it somewhere, though!
Hi Mitch, I’ve always loved watching your videos about Magnetic Press books-they’re such a great source of recommendations! Your enthusiasm for these titles is infectious, and I’m already sold on *Frontiers*. I can’t wait to get my hands on it! If I could make a request, I’d love to see a video where you list your top 10 or top 5 favorite books from Magnetic Press. Your recommendations have always been spot-on, and I eagerly look forward to each new video you put out. Thanks so much for sharing your passion with us, Mitch! 🎉
Thank you! And that’s an awesome idea! I’ll put that on the list of upcoming videos! I always try and share books I love and not just share whatever. I also avoid talking about books I don’t enjoy as I don’t want to crap on books just because I personally didn’t enjoy them! Thanks for watching! I really appreciate the kind words and idea!
Indies are where it’s at most of the time anymore in my opinion. I believe that’s because they’re all passion projects by the creators. Still enjoy Marvel and DC at times, but anymore it’s hit or miss.
@@Omnibuddy Same! Probably 80%-90% are indies for me. The Ghost machine has been great lately! It’s the only thing I’m buying in single issues because it’s that good imo! And I’m pretty much strictly hardcovers/collected editions!
Great art beautiful Colors 😮 Awesome Review, hey Mitch will you be Reviewing NO FUTURE also by Magnetic Press I saw The Trailer yesterday look like A Cyberpunk mix with 5th Element add this one (Frontier) to my list. Thanks again Mitch for another Overview & Great Release from Magnetic Press
Thanks, Kyle! I really loved this book. Probably won't do a review of No Future. It was ok. But in the grand scheme, it wasn't good enough for me to spend a whole video on it!
I had complained recently (and more to come) about colors fighting with the art and here is a perfect example of the opposite. If the art does not requires it, don't applying tons of shading. The colors here are very restraint from what you had shown in that it is almost flat with shading when needed and it lets the line art sells the highlights and shadows. Great overview, as usual.
Dang it, Mitch. You persuaded me to buy it 😂 The art is stunning. Can't wait to read it!
I make no apologies!💚😅😘
@@Omnibuddy 😂
This looks tempting. Would love to see a top list of magnetic press titles 🙏🏼
Ooooo… that’s a good idea!

I love this one.
Heck yes! So awesome!

Heck yes! I freaking love indies. It’s mostly the entirety of what I read!💚

@Aluminatihusker I’ve been trying to stay off singles, too! I’ve bought SOME but not many since making the switch to HCs/Collecteds!
Thanks for the vid, subbed! Any updated plans to release a vid about gluing the numbered paper inside the book? ;)
Thank you! Yes, I'm planning to do a video on gluing bookplates soon! Hopefully, by the end of the month!

Thank you! Yeah, the shading and shadow work in this book is wonderful!
waiting for my softcover version to arrive
I kinda want a TPB copy to go with this one, too!😅
@@Omnibuddy Cool. Then you can gift me this HC one.
@UXPose HA. No way I’ll get rid of my limited slipcase edition!
