My suggestion for the throttle pedal - take off all the linkage stuff from the back of the old pedal and take it down to 1/4" or so thick. Shave down the face of the new pedal and trim the width to match the old. Securely attach the face of the old pedal to the new with epoxy and/or screws or whatever. I know it's not what you ideally want, but it's a thought off the top.

I seriously hope that some SEMA spies are watching this and invite you. I think your attention to detail and understated, more-period-correct approach to restomods is a refreshing change that the car world needs. Sure, stuffing an old car with modern parts can be cool from a performance and style perspective, but with cars like this, it's a legitimate marriage of old and new. And I think for a lot of us who would rather see a greatly improved older car rather than just a straight restomod, you seem to be leading the way. Keep doing what you are doing. It's amazing!

The length of time, the amount of work, research, supplier vetting, testing, sample reviews back and forth and time/cost to bring a good quality physical product to market should not be underestimated. Things that likely go unnoticed like choice of spray head on the bottle that can make or break the usage of such a product. To take sponsorships would be far more profitable and easier especially in the short term, no question so to turn that down and your reasonings for it are admirable. I've always been blown away by the schedule you keep running the TH-cam side to three day schedule and maintain the consistent and high quality of content/project outcomes is already staggering to me, so to then casually throw in a launch of a pretty much COMPLETE detailing line (10+ products) operated as a two person business is just insane. the only explanation I have is you are able to bend time and space to now have 29 hours in a day and no requirement for sleep. I wish you every success, truly a role model to lots of us, despite whatever our age might be.

Your audience that knows you knows you're not very commercial and rather tight-lipped about products you use when you find appropriate. The AN wrenches you were talking about are for tightening the fittings. The AN hose end nuts are bigger (but not an AN size). I use regular SAE wrenches to tighten them. They also make aluminum adjustable wrenches for doing the hose end nuts, but they're more hassle to use than they're worth.

One clamp on each hose with a screw and nut thru the holes in the clamps makes for a secure separation of the hoses. Aircraft Spruce has ADEL clamps in many sizes. Your project looks great!

Glad you started a product line! As far as you're being overwhelmed, quality counts much more than quantity, and you are putting out very high quality videos. You could slack off a bit on your upload schedule and I don't think you would have a single fan complain. Or to put that another way, if you burn yourself out and have to stop doing this, we would all be very sad. I can't speak for everyone, but in my view, your health and well-being are, in the long run, much more important than trying to stick to an upload schedule of a video every three days. Don't skip the large details (your health and well-being), either.

First off, I appreciate everything you do! Actually enjoying vids without constant product placement or some other nonsense gimmick products is a revelation. I wish more channels followed your ethos. Unfortunately there are those who just want to make the bucks as fast as they can.
You do so much for being an operation of basically 2 people! 😮❤
I'll definitely be checking out some of the products. 🙂
Don't you hate it when you install something only to have to pull it back out to put it on the other side.. lol 😞
The Celica is coming along nicely!!

I can't believe how badass this car looks, and how i've never seen one before.

A cheap and easy way to avoid scratching things with your wrench is just wrap the jaws in Duck Tape. You can also use a bit of Duck Tape to hold sockets and screws on to long screw drivers and socket extensions. Useful knowledge in certain situations.
