For anyone doing a operator install, this is a very helpful and useful video. I watched it twice and made my 4l80 reverse pattern a breeze. Dalton from Motion Raceworks was a huge help in noticing the pictures I sent him that I had the mac valve for the co2 on the opposite side of the bottle and recommended I switch it over to the passenger side for a cleaner finish. I didn’t even realize it. lol Special thanks to Motion Raceworks and this channel for making install truly a walk through the park with how well everything fits and step by step for a hassle free installation. Great video and awesome shifter!
Glad to have helped! I also spoke with Dalton during my install and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's a nice shifter for sure! the cup holders and overall smaller footprint than my previous shifter really made all the difference in my interior as well.
What I did with the Sidewinder was to make a much more compact case for mounting than that plastic eye-sore. Also, it helps to have a custom length Morse cable made to eliminate the pretzel effect. Thanks!
I'm sure you're going to love it! I couldn't find much about it on TH-cam after I ordered mine and was honestly surprised. Let me know how you like it and if you need any additional help with the install feel free to message me!
It is a nice compact shifter and the wiring makes it really easy to install, but I will say it is possible to go 1st to 3rd unlike on the winters shifter
I do believe you could buy a shorter cable, but there's not much issue with coiling these cables up so long as it's not a tight 90 or anything. The standard for this cable is usually around 5ft I believe.
I did add a comment when talking of which hole to use that I ended up using hole "C" due to a clearance issue. I have a good amount of miles on this shifter now and no issues with using that hole.

The sidewinder has a place in my heart just because of how fool proof it was in comparison to the motion raceworks unit
@@acceleratekendel For sure.
I just ordered mine for the reverse pattern 4l80. After watching this video, I’m definitely glad I went with it. Well detailed video on the install!

Great video sir
Thank you!
You didn't put it hole "A" the one closest to the toe of the boot 👢
