Thanks, that is awesome - I knew that quiet air compressors were available in the huge sizes (the non-portable ones that require 220V) but had no idea anyone was working on quieting down the smaller models like this. Very temping since the regular 8gal one I have from Lowes is so annoying when it runs in my garage. Wakes me up at night all the way in my bedroom if it kicks on to top itself up
Not sure if they offer smaller units, but I have Kobalt QuietTech compressors (20+ gallon) with a 3 year warranty from Lowes. Prior I had CA Air Tools -- they are nice, but expensive. Kobalt is just as quiet at a fraction of the price...may not be quite as well built and have the same safeguards (like overheat protection, though I'm not sure if it has that or not), but they work and are 1/2 price or less to a comparable sized CA Air Tools.

California Air Tools compressors are certainly well built (I used them for years back when I don't think there were any other quiet compressors on the market), but I do feel like for the price, their 1 year warranty is lacking. We've had no regrets with the Kobalt compressors either at the warehouse (where we have several of them) or at my house (where I have 1 Kobalt due to my experience with them in the warehouse at work). I'm not sure if the Kobalt has the same level of protections as the CA Air Tools, because we did have one in the warehouse that we think overheated (I think there was a leak in the line and it was cycling non-stop for a long time, overheating and wrecking the motor) after less than a year, but Lowe's took it back under the 3 year warranty and I walked out with a new one 15 minutes later. Love the channel, keep up the great work!
