if Adam had built a fleet of boats to invade the shores of Heaven.
More like the fall of Atlantis, although the fall of numenor changed the topological shape of Arda forever
Yeah...not really. The fall of Adam was really all god's fault. God deliberately made a fucked up universe, then created a pair of beings that didn't know anything, but had free will. Then got mad when the female one exerted that free will in ignorance to tell him and Adam to go stuff it...so he made a NEW female one out of Adam, explicitly so that she would serve, rather than rebel...but then gave her free will anyway, and then told them not to eat a certain tree's fruit...after putting it in the most prominent place in the garden, KNOWING they had no concept of what obedience even was.
.
The guy had perfect knowledge, ultimate power...and still fucked up. He already knew the future, and had the power to fix it before even making the universe at all...and CHOSE not to. That's just...hopelessly stupid.
@@DoremiFasolatido1979 I think Eru Ilúvatar has the same problem. He would have known Melkor would fuck everything up but let him interfere with the Song and enter Arda anyway.
@@pearltheboomkin1247 no
Still better fan fiction the Rings of Power
It's worst
@@Cyrus-rodn45 this game, unlike the series, never said it would be faithful. Man you fans. Shush, shush, it's alright go back to your escapism little one
As good as the gameplay in this game was, I couldn't play past a few hours. So much lore-breaking in this game, it had such potential.
I know. This games story just spat on the actual lore in favor of it's protagonists.
@@joshward8395 Agreed.
I think I met Gollum, as Gollum not as Smeagol, maybe 500 years before he was due to be born. Never mind acquire the ring and become Gollum.
That was the point I switched off, and seeing videos like this prove I did the right thing.
@@alexscott6031
Wut? This game is between Hobbit and LoTR. I know that this might come as a HUGE shock...... But...... Gollum was actually IN the Hobbit, Crazy I know, but it's actually the truth.
@@nugget6820 No, Minas Ithil the main city in the game falls in Second age 3429. Gollum is born Third Age 2430.
That's QUITE a discrepancy.
The game is entirely fan fiction, it's not even close to accurate. They can say whenever the game is set but if that goes against events that have been set in the books for decades, it doesn't matter and is entirely non canon.
@@alexscott6031
Yeh, but the game developers wanted to do something epic and pushed the fall of minis ithil up to the third age, I don't really get why people think that some horrible evil thing. The game is stated to be non canon, it's all about the rule of cool.
I really got to beat this game one day…great vid man!
AWESOME🔥
Are they ever gonna make a story to show what happens to Celebrimbor after Sauron’s death?
I assume Celebrimbor goes to the Halls of Mandos, with Sauron gone, his spirit is no longer bound to Mordor.
Sauron is not death. After destruction of the ring he's a formless weak shadow
@@TheTrulsroey in the ending of "Blade of Galadriel" DLC they made a huge fat hint that Celebrimbor is still here, bound to his own Ring, and basically took Sauron's place.
Way better than that tv show
That no-one has seen yet? Sure, I'll take your word for it.
@@khymaaren good because that show is trash before it even starts
No about the same but for different reasons
Well, the show is out... and the video game is 100x better storyline. And it's a freaking silly video game.
Esto es mas cannon que los anillos de poder.
He learner the trick that killed himself X) to cut off fingers with the Ring
Elf Sauron = Fair Form. I thought after the fall of Numenor, he lost the ability to the form of Annatar. Hence the... Necromancer bit. Yeh, I know the games are different but ... yeh. I think it makes sense for them to use it for this purpose.
I wish this was canon, wasnt there a nazgul at the end of the movies that ended up dying when the ring was destroyed? Would be cool to have a whole fucking game based on him, only to find out it was Talion
All of them died upon the destruction of the one ring
Man they really just tossed the canon of the books in a fire, didn't they?
They said from the start the games weren't going to be canon.
@@secretagenttau2233 these fans are just butthurt because they can't see past their escapist reality.
@@cosesu8929 ???
@@secretagenttau2233 some fans if not most use their preferred works of fiction to escape from reality and get upset when something takes them out of that subconsciously created reality.
They did . But they at least came up with mildly interesting stuff.
The TV show Amazon pooped out... that gives shit a bad name.
I never liked the movies but I loved this game so much, especially Talion's bittersweet storyline.
Every story has its own Angelic Lucifer turned into a Darklord Satan
The gift of men
Boy got them sith eyes
"I serve no one"
*cough cough* Morgoth *cougj*
I don't think the creators know what lord of the rings is
They only had a limited amount of lore to work with since the estate owns most of it. Besides this game never intended to be lore accurate. They only had what the movie universe could give them. If you don't like it than I feel sorry that you can't look past it.
@@cosesu8929 i didn't mean to sound annoyed in this comment, i was just pointing out how inaccurate it is
@@enchantedlimestone373 as for me even though there was some truth in my feelings in the comment (I'm a sucker for the little guy and this game within the comments was the little guy) I was mostly just trying to be a troll.
@@cosesu8929 that's fair. Have a good one bro
I didn't know it was souron or ring linked to souron, I did clear my future pathways to choke. So took in and let out later it cleanses everyone
Sauron was no elf and he took this form just to fool people.
This is considered the true ending of Shadow of War
I will drop some knowledge Sauron did not die cause he cannot die. He can be destroyed if his ring is destroyed. Wthat on earth are you talking about him dying
His spirit cannot die, but his body was destroyed beyond chances of returning ever again, meaning he will inevitably die as a spirit during Dagor Dagorath.
You're right that he cannot die. I think the game just tried to tie an end to it by saying he is dead to assure the viewer he has no chance of coming back.
@@frikandelbroodje6491 the game did not say he died. He became one with Celebrimbor.
@@youthberktempest Then the game also mentioned that Celebrimbor managed to escape Barad-Dûr once it tore apart.
I love this scene
The game is mostly movie canon and not Book canon.
It's neither, this is like a what if
talion is one of the nazgul?
Its not canon but yes the last to join
no
Free at last. Nice
This game is more lore accurate than rings of power. This tells volumes.
This game is more accurate than RoP and the LOTR trilogy.
Fixed.
I'm so confused by these games. Like is Shelob a "good character" Isn't she a giant blood sucking spider?
They changed a lot of things from the books like Shelob isn't a shapeshifter and Minas Ithil fell way before the events of the hobbit
@@hassanawdi3793
She COULD be. She is the daughter of Ungoliant after all, who chose the form of a spider.
@@hassanawdi3793 In the books Minas Ithil falls about 3000 years before the events of The Hobbit…
No longer Banished From Death.
Shame a sequel never happened. 😞
Seem's like every company out there is too afraid to move past The Return Of The King. -_-
And a Sequel to Shadow Of War would've done just that.
Well, there are no more rings of power after that, and not even any orcs. All of the supernatural forces of darkness are obliterated with Sauron's fall so the world is lacking the whole focus of those games.
Sorry I might be late, but, which game is this one?
Ok i keep seing clips of this game but what’s this game called ? I wanna watch the walkthroughs …
They almost made the games a huge waste of time having Talion join the Nine, but they fixed it at the end.
I am confuzzled
These games does not fallow the book at all, but even if that is true they did far more better job on depicting the lore and fuse with the Peter Jackson’s movies better that that disaster of a woke show Amazon created
Agree. They werent that good games but they stayed more true to Tolkiens lore and were able to create deeper athmosphere than this billion dollar show. Its strange but this really showcases how bad Rings of Power really is. When they made xenophobic racists out of Numenorians I gave up. No creativity, pure political hate agenda and even the design like armors etc lacks often like its a trashy budget movie.
Great game
You mean Annatar, not elf Sauron.
Hail the One...
unlikely hero, gollum
sauron was maia not elf
This game needs a sequel lo
this game IS a sequel
@@travelwell8098 This game is non-canon
I just saw this..what game is it?
Middle Earth:Shadow of War. Sequel to Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor.
Warning for if you want to play it: If you can't look past it not conforming to Tolkien's lore than don't play it, but if you can than it has objectively good gameplay mechanics.
Sauron is elf? I thought he is Maiar.
It was a form he chose to take. Maiar are spirits that can transform to whatever they want.
he's a Maiar, just like Ishtari (Gandalf/Radagast/Saruman) n Balrogs of Morgoth. he can take any forms he wanted including elf, or at least what we know as his "fair form".
Thats not what happens in this video
Apparently there's going to be a 3rd game but how will it even be possible with Talion finally at rest 🤔
They could retcon that.
