This book and his other book Laziness Does Not Exist were life changers for me. They are both such validating texts and have helped me to accept myself more. Dr. Price comes highly recommended by this random autistic person on the internet. Burnout is so easy to ignore in our work/productivity obsessed cultures and it's nice to have the 'permission' to do exactly what I'm able and feel good about it.
Thank you, I ended up grabbing the audiobook that the author narrates on the strength of this video. I was putting off reading this for some time (mostly because I don't read physical books basically ever--not proud of it, just a fact), and this pretty immediately got me to see the value in exploring this further. I appreciate you.
Highly Recommend 'Empire of Normality: Capitalism and Neurodiversity ' By Robert Chapman. It includes the best currently available history of Neurodiversity, about which most info is incorrect, the term having been subject to elite capture.
I am happy to see this book available here because anarchism makes sense to my autistic brain. Removing the stigma of both will improve the lives of many.
