I actually dont like the " look what I can do " videos, I dont like staged videos, I dont like insulting videos, I loved TH-cam when it captured a moment in time that occurred by accident without script.. Instructional vids are great too.
Everything turns into baseline anyways. It's like that one celebrity who grew up poor... after 6 months in his new penthouse he said it just felt as exciting and normal as his original place back when he was working 9 to 5 and way less money.
This actually reminds me of a greater truth that guides my heart, mind and spirit, it's a belief I feel each day of my life, and surely what they'll remember when I die, because when I do, my tombstone with read: "There was never a need for pants."
This feels like it's from a completely different era of TH-cam. No editing, no clickbait, no scripting, no special lighting or effects, just a someone with exceptional talent sitting in their room and showing the world what they can do.

Yup, the wonderful era of youtube, before constant ads, influencers, people taking offense over absolutely everything, and the algorithm trying to 'protect' you on behalf of big br***er. Great times.
I'd say 2007 - 2008, but leaning to 07. Un-skippable 5-sec Ads, sponsorships, lucrative profit incentives and a lot of current TH-cam bs began to set in, in 2010. It's the year when smartphones + social media + TH-cam (three things that had existed since the mid-00s) really synthesized and exploded throughout the 2010s from then on.
I lost my Mom this year and listened to this on repeat yesterday and cried so hard. Thank you for giving me a beautiful way in which to process my grief and loss.
She's still with you, just in spirit form. There's a spirit world after passing. No one ever disappears. This earth life is just one phase. Don't worry.

@@chrisholder4978 Not to be contrarian, but I "play" guitar. But since it's not my main instrument, I have trouble making a connection with the music I produce. Also, the genre of music I came from doesn't necessarily lend itself to "soul-rearing". It can, but it isn't too common. I understand what @jasonmiller5030 was trying to say. And I wish I had that ability, but I definitely appreciate when someone CAN do it.
As a guitarist, I think there's a level of skill you have to get to in order to be able to play from the soul like this. It's extremely difficult to be able to do. It's kind of like, everyone's still just learning until they get so learned that they can just flow and truly emote with the strings.
I can confirm that it is but I can also confirm that anyone can do it with enough practice and this is why music is great! You don't need talent to begin with you can do it by simply learning proper technique and applying discipline and time. Best investment of my life. It is therapy. It's never too late to start x

Not denying that *my own personal INTENTION was* at the beginning, when I first uploaded something myself (and still is to this day / will be the same in the future hopefully), *that I do this (my stuff & content) for myself* - so I can LOOK BACK in the future and always witness & remind myself, *how FAR I'VE COME until then etc.*
And if there are people out there all over the World seeing this kinda sort of "Documentation of my Journey" and even take something out for themselves to benefit from.... well what can I ask more for? Right? 🤣
