I actually dont like the " look what I can do " videos, I dont like staged videos, I dont like insulting videos, I loved TH-cam when it captured a moment in time that occurred by accident without script.. Instructional vids are great too.
Everything turns into baseline anyways. It's like that one celebrity who grew up poor... after 6 months in his new penthouse he said it just felt as exciting and normal as his original place back when he was working 9 to 5 and way less money.
This actually reminds me of a greater truth that guides my heart, mind and spirit, it's a belief I feel each day of my life, and surely what they'll remember when I die, because when I do, my tombstone with read: "There was never a need for pants."

I'd say 2007 - 2008, but leaning to 07. Un-skippable 5-sec Ads, sponsorships, lucrative profit incentives and a lot of current TH-cam bs began to set in, in 2010. It's the year when smartphones + social media + TH-cam (three things that had existed since the mid-00s) really synthesized and exploded throughout the 2010s from then on.
I can confirm that it is but I can also confirm that anyone can do it with enough practice and this is why music is great! You don't need talent to begin with you can do it by simply learning proper technique and applying discipline and time. Best investment of my life. It is therapy. It's never too late to start x

@@chrisholder4978 Not to be contrarian, but I "play" guitar. But since it's not my main instrument, I have trouble making a connection with the music I produce. Also, the genre of music I came from doesn't necessarily lend itself to "soul-rearing". It can, but it isn't too common. I understand what @jasonmiller5030 was trying to say. And I wish I had that ability, but I definitely appreciate when someone CAN do it.
As a guitarist, I think there's a level of skill you have to get to in order to be able to play from the soul like this. It's extremely difficult to be able to do. It's kind of like, everyone's still just learning until they get so learned that they can just flow and truly emote with the strings.
This is one of those videos that the algorithm is going to periodically bless scores of people with for years to come and we’re here at the start of it.

TH-cam's Algorithm refused to drop this, it followed me on mobile, TV, PC, Laptop and work PC. I kept brushing past it. TH-cam refused. Then I have in and watched. I have been blessed today.

I’ve played for 23 years, I’m 45 now, I took a now almost 14 year hiatus when I had my daughter and then a son. I spent all this time being a father, but I was and am a musician and I’ll tell you this. I feel like I'm in heaven, all the trumpets have just quieted down, and this wonderful being is just chillin' on a cloud setting the mood as God winks at me and is like "Yeah bro, what, you though we didn't know how keep it real tasty here?" Then we both look over at this divine artist and it's 0:28 all over again and I just can't believe it yet. "How long is this good feeling going to last?", I ask. God smiles, hands me a Shirley Temple (my drink of choice, of course) and gently smiles. "Forever".

Not denying that *my own personal INTENTION was* at the beginning, when I first uploaded something myself (and still is to this day / will be the same in the future hopefully), *that I do this (my stuff & content) for myself* - so I can LOOK BACK in the future and always witness & remind myself, *how FAR I'VE COME until then etc.*

There's no such thing as best. Each player has their own sound. Mimic performances are cool also but I prefer players that play their way.

I spent all this time being a father, but I was and am a musician and I’ll tell you this. I feel like I'm in heaven, all the trumpets have just quieted down, and this wonderful being is just chillin' on a cloud setting the mood as God winks at me and is like "Yeah bro, what, you though we didn't know how keep it real tasty here?" Then we both look over at this divine artist and it's 0:28 all over again and I just can't believe it yet. "How long is this good feeling going to last?", I ask. God smiles, hands me a Shirley Temple (my drink of choice, of course) and gently smiles. "Forever".
I could just imagine my self listening to this on a white sand beach with turquoise waters lapping the shore surrounded by coconut palm trees. Very relaxing and beautiful.
