If you have already learned this, the DeWalt mid-torque impact wrench is more than enough for most automotive work. The hi-torque is only needed for really rusty/stuck fasteners.

I'm a huge fan of dewalt tools, especially the flexvolt line. It's great to see that DeWalt has made such a huge tool combo with their high end tools. This has everything I could want and use. Definitely keeping my eye on this!

Back when I was an electrical apprentice I had about $1,200 USD worth of tools stolen and it was the bulk of my tools at the time. All brand name, expensive tools too. Only positive way I looked at it too was that I got new tools and better tools because some of the tools I got were from a kit I bought in tech school. Ended up buying about $2,500 worth of tools. Replaced all my Klein pliers with Knipex and haven’t looked back. I still like Klein screw drivers and nut drivers the best, so I got those. Veto tool bags, name tags, and I even engraved every single piece of my equipment. It was fun coming home to a huge delivery of tools. Whoever stole my tools, I hope they’re using them instead of selling them at a pawn shop. They weren’t even broke in yet or had scars on them.
That’s a lot of new tools and really cool how dewalt do a massive all in one kit like this. I’d love to see a 6 month or 1 year review of the tools and see how they’ve all held up.

On that little air compressor that attachment on the other side is not a “blower”, that is a high volume low pressure outlet for blowing up things like air mattresses and such like that. Things that require a lot of air but don’t need a whole lot of pressure.
Hard work pays off! I’m still a basic dewalt guy but some day I’ll be on your level! I just got my first flexvolt and powerstack battery and they’re great. I do wish that the 20v batteries went onto 60 v tools though.
Just purchased a Hammer drill, Impact Driver, grinder, sawzall, jig saw, and Reciprocating Saw with the 5ah battery, 2ah battery, and a 6ah Flex Volt battery for $499 all XR. Great video btw it seems a little pricy for all those tools though.
You got the left handed skill saw, DeWalt actually makes them with the blade on either side, depending on what your dominant hand is, you shoukd switch it for a right handed version, with the blade on the left side of the motor.
I absolutely love my leaf blower!! Great for blowing dust off yourself and your work area but try using a bigger battery like a 6 amp because it goes through battery life pretty fast especially on the high setting
It’s so nice on a hot day to blow dust off yourself. I was using it a fair bit recently and was actually surprised with how quick it went through the 5Amps!
The laser level is part of dewalts extreme 12 volt line. Totally different from their 18 volt or 54 volt tools. Also notice on the chargers some will say 18 volt and most of their regular chargers will say 18 and 12 volt so they can charge both well actually all three since the 54 volt battery can run as 18 volt and they charge on 18 volt chargers there isn’t actually a 54 volt charger but the 18 volt fast chargers are made for the big 54 volt batteries
Also just a recommendation store and carry the the laser in the case. I’ve had pretty bad luck with mine I’ve had one full failure and one partial failure they aren’t as durable as the older dewalt lasers.

I’m sure if you don’t toss it around too much, keep it in the proper case and use common sense you will probably have no issues. I’ve also let a lot of my coworkers borrow it as well. I will say it is a wonderful tool to use, bright, rechargeable, and the cross line is awesome; I use it as a sparky here in Canada.
I have a lot of those tools as well and I can tell you they all work great. I did also get the air pump and I can tell you that is probably the most valuable tool I have in my van. It is so useful definitely worth the money. Save me a couple times having flat tires.

hey mate. I recently got insurance for my tools. 10k for about $40 a month. I went with IMAR and they have given me Gallagher insurance. The only thing needed for tool insurance is that they need to be locked away or forced entry to the tools for them to pay out.

In terms of preventing tool theft, upgrade your locks, have an alarm on your tool box/van. In retrieving tools, I’ll engrave them, use invisible ink, gps trackers, have security cameras, paint them and note their serial code. Im planning on making a video shortly on everything possible to safeguard and retrieve stolen tools!

Nice video mate it’s weird to hear u taking so good about the 54 volt circular saw as I bought it and hated how it would spit stuff if your face looking at the right handed blade I opted for the small 18v left handed blade saw with u feel if half as heave and way easier to use

They should of left some of the small tools that aren’t used that much. They should add the miter saw and table saw. Flashlight, radio and bag are not as important.
When they do a roadshow or end of financial year 5k plus you get 1000 worth of store credit points. So if you decided to not get that kit, maybe grab another that reaches just 5k, then drop another 2k on more shit in a seperate transaction you’d end up with close to 2k worth of freebies. Heaps good deal

By boss got the big boy Milwaukee impact rench for screwing in the lags on our log cabins. do you think that dewalt impact rench is capable of screwing In 1/2” x 10” lags into logs efficiently?

Definitely am! I don’t have the plunge saw, but a co worker does and I’m going to try it out soon! The blower works alright, but if you want your tools to be properly clean definitely stick with the air compressor

The big Hammer drill is the DCF 899, and it is for truck wheels. I mean pickup trucks, not semis. But you need a lot of torque to take those wheels off, and that 899 in your box handles that. It delivers 700 Ft/Lb of torque. Of course, I am speaking of Ft/Lbs and pickup trucks so...it may not be a necessary tool for you over in Limey Land. In any case, that's what that tool is.

The high torque is a power house but I was blown away how much more powerful Milwaukee high torque is. Still love my Dewalt high torque too tho.
As a contractor I can say this combo pack should be called a turn-key business in a box.

You can use i8 volt battery's with the flex volt st7f

Where can you buy this in the US?
Is it cheaper to buy everything in this package vs separately? If so, anyone know how much one might save? You can get some good deals on tools, but may have to wait here and there. I'm curious if the $6500 doesn't save you anything, rather provides the convenience of getting everything at once

Проблема деволт в том что нет линейки инструмента для работы с бетоном(я понимаю что Америка вся одноэтажная и деревянная,но надо охватывать и новые рынки,оооочень не хватает вибро уплотнителя бетона,виброрейки,машины для разглаживания цементной стяжки,пистолета для связывания арматуры(а у макиты это есть,но это другая аккумуляторная база и бренд))а ещё бесит желто черная цветовая гамма(пока оно все новое оно и выглядит хорошо,но после первого использования куча мелких царапин в которых грязь и цементная пыль прессуются)

54v? Is that just in Australia? DeWalt is all 20volt and 60volt in US
60 volt max actually operates at 54v. Its essentially 3 20v max (18v operating )batteries put together.
You can swap the battery because they are same they just called them 54v. Also most of the European countries use 54v insted of 60v or flexvolt.

I bought it from Sydney Tools, an Australian franchise who only recently introduced the set
just had my battery and charger stolen. :( I can't afford to replace batteries. these prices are killer.
This amounts to short of 4000 English pounds which is insane we can't get any kit deal like this over here that's insane
