The biggest handheld torque wrench I have ever seen was 1100ftlbs. Was used at a shipyard. We called it Excalibur. It was over 4 feet long before putting the extension on it. Beyond that, we used hydraulic torque rigs.
@@TommyG_0311 I wish I knew how old it was. We had some snap on torque wrenches from the 1940s. The shipyard has been around since the early 1900s, and we still had a handful of old tools dating all the way back. Most were kept only for display, but some were still in regular use. If I had to guess, I'd say Excalibur was likely a 40s or 50s era tool based on the design. We also had sockets up to 6" that ran on a 2.5" drive air impact, Allen wrenches up to 2"...tons of cool stuff.
The whole teng set is 9k + tax and shipping and the snap on master set with box is 12-14k or 8k with student discount plus lifetime warranty and much better quality so pick ur poison

I have tengs tools box for about a year now, its great tool for the price your paying but there warranty sucks. They will literally tell you that you don’t know how to use your tools so you don’t get warranty. Except warranty it a good tool box
