I'm back for more info from you I appreciate and love the detail and simple explanation in all your videos. Thank you you helped me so much in December with our Disney world trip . Now I'm back because next week we're going to Disney Land only one day so we want to get the most out our day
Once again you gave us the most comprehensive and easy to follow and good technique to maneuver Disney plus and Disney issues in general .Thank you so much for this and all of your videos so much help to all of us Disney fanatics ❤❤❤
I’ve been devouring your videos! My family will be visiting Disney World soon and I wan to be properly informed to make the most out of our trip. Thank you so much!
Hi! Have things stayed relatively the same so this video is still applicable? Going in June and just want to make sure this is the most up to date video for genie plus basics before watching! Thanks for all of your videos!!
Fantastic video! Just a quick question, if I reserve a L.L. at 7 am, could I not use it on the time that it says to use? So I can stack them? Or do I have to use it? How does that work? Because I’m planing to ride attractions in the morning without passes and then use them in the afternoon. Thank you for your response!
You might need to watch my other Genie+ videos, the explanation ones, but they give you the first available time for Genie+ - so you can't really control the time. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Your videos helped me so much on my trip in October! I was the only one in my group that knew how to properly use it lol now I’m staying updated for my next trip in April 😂
i followed most of the video but just to be sure you can buy genie plus when your buy the ticket months before your trip right? im planning for October for Halloween nights and i don’t want to be the dummy that buys a day before only to see they’re gone!
This is an amazing tutorial! Has helped immensely to help us plan based on better understanding of genie and ILL. I've listened to other tutorials and they mostly left me more confused + too long. This was informative and efficient.
Perfect timing. I am going this week and did not know I could pay for Genie Plus prior to 7 a.m. and able to request my first pass at 7 a.m. You cleared up a lot of doubts/confusion I had.
Hey, this has helped so much planning ahead for my holiday, can’t wait to watch more. I have a question and it my sound stupid however we are a party of 6. Let’s say 4 of us want to ride space mountain…we can make a reservation for the 4 of us but do the other 2 non riders have to wait the 2hours or until we enter space mountain to make another reservation for just them 2?? Hope this makes sense, thank you!!
We are going in March of 2023, how will we know if things have changed before we go. I am binge watching your videos and trying to plan a surprise 21st birthday trip for my daughter.
Very helpful! One question. Should you purchase Disney Genie Plus first and then secure your ride AND THEN purchase your ILL? I am planning on using both and wonder what the best plan of action is day of.
100% purchase Genie+ first, before 7am. As for getting the passes...it depends on which rides you want, which is why you want to study Tip Board. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Nina, love your video! Very informative, Thank You! Question: Is it correct that only one person from the large group is required to have the Disney app to purchase park tickets, Genie+, ILL, and to reserve the Genie passes for the entire group? Or Can members in the group get the Disney app too?
The answer is complicated as YES, many people can have the APP but it can also lead to issues the more you have. I have this video regarding Genie+ and Families - th-cam.com/video/eY2cRmHj0tM/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching/commenting!
Great introduction (for me) to Genie+. I don't understand why Disney offers such a confusing system, this makes vacation like work! Much prefer the system at Universal!
I’m afraid I won’t get back to the correct video for this answer. We will be going (7 of us) and my husband and I will be renting a scooter - any helpful suggestions?
I actually just filmed a video with this info - Disney with Adults ONLY and includes Scooter info. Should be out in a week or so. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I’m so confused as to grabbing the pass at 7 am. I booked our trip in March for December and genie was added then. So on our trip in December, will I be able to make reservations at 7 am? Should I call Disney and see if I have to repurchase the day of?
No need to repurchase Genie+ if you already have it. They REMOVED the option to add in advance, so you are one of the lucky ones left with Genie+ already. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Last year we had 12 people in our party and I was able to successfully do genie+ for my entire group. We never felt like we waited longer than 10 min in any lines. I think it was maxed out at 12 people though. Do you know if this has changed? We leave in August and I have 13 people in our party this time and was hoping to navigate this for my entire party again.
Great stuff! You helped our family so much last year that we are going again this March. I am pretty well schooled on genie plus and created itineraries through a ton of research. Trying to have a question answered and Disney world has not answered completely. We have a ticket and reservation for Epcot and then purchased the After hours at magic kingdom. We plan on adding genie plus to ride a few of the big rides at Epcot during late afternoon then hopping on monorail to magic kingdom at 8. We can enter MK at 7. After hours does not allow genie plus, but we purchased for Epcot. Can we use genie plus for rides at MK before 10pm the official start of after hours? Or do we also need a park Hopper? I got a plan and trying to figure out if it will work.... Lol
So you can enter the After Hours Park early, at 7pm but since Genie+ doesn't work for the Party, I am not sure if it will work for EARLY entry since you do NOT have a Hopper Pass. But I would personally try it. Good Luck. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thanks for the video Nina. As always great stuff! We are going to Disney in about several days and we actually booked a vacation with a travel agent and we have genie plus on the the actual ticket itself from this vacation package. Is this accurate that maybe we were grandfathered?
YES, at one point you could add to your package...so if you booked a while ago, yes its possible. Thanks for booking with a TA. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Silly question... back in June, we purchased Genie+ for our 2 week trip over Christmas. Does this just show up on our park days? If not, where or how do we find it?
If you already purchased then it should show up on your account each morning, meaning it shouldn't ask you to purchase each morning that you purchased it for. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Not entirely sure, but I wouldn't risk something that could take longer in a process that needs to be FAST. You can use those card for food/merch in the parks too. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Disney says the average guests get 2-3 rides with Genie+, I say if you do it correctly...you can get more. In the end, it depends on the day you go, rides you want and how smart you are with the system. I have personally gotten like 5-7. Hope this helps and thanks for watching/commenting!
Did that really say $25 for rise?!! I’m assuming there’s a standby line too right? That’s insane. Aren’t people already paying for tickets? It’s not like the parks are free and people are paying for the rides they want
That is correct, if you want to skip the line for Rise...it can be up to $25 but it can also be $15, just depends. Or you can wait in line which can be 2-3 hours. Most are paying for it as it sells out in seconds. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I’m going in January 11th Hollywood studios 13th magic kingdom (weekend of MLK JR DAY) Anyone ever gone this time and how are wait times ? Only 2 of us going
I appreciate the videos but the fact you have to watch a 40 minute video then find out there's an updated video that's also 40 minutes just to figure out this system just shows how anti consumer it is and more like a money grab. They really should just bring back in person fast pass, even having it updated to scan a QR code to reserve a fast pass would be good enough.
I agree that the system is too complicated. Sorry the videos were long, was trying to explain in all ways possible to help others understand, but I also miss an easier system. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Sorry to hear that. You have to keep refreshing and certain rides get those late times fast...those are the ones you stack first. Thanks for watching/commenting!
WWow - as confusing as this is, you explain it very well, Nina! Thank you!!!!!!! I need to watch more of your videos!!!

You can download NOW, but can't purchase until EACH park Day. Thanks for watching/commenting!

How can you stack 4 rides starting at park opening when genie gives you next available time?
You have to refresh for times later in the day and some rides have passes that go fast...so its all in the planning. Thanks for watching/commenting!
