I don't pack a toothbrush holder but I use one of the glasses that are in the room. I too pack paper towels, garbage bags and Scissors. Use them every time.
I also always wear a fake wedding set on vacation! When we went on our honeymoon someone lost a wedding ring at the beach! I felt so bad for them! Great tips 🙂
I'm with you on a number of these. I bring enough otc medicine to last for 24 hours of continuous doses. If I would end up needing more, then I would make a trip to a convenience store to restock. I keep ibuprofen (Advil), acetaminophen (Tylenol), and diphenhydramine (Benadryl). I think I might add an anticid now though. For the toothbrush holder, almost every hotel room has paper or plastic cups. I just sacrifice one by poking a hole in the bottom. I've found that even the small flimsy ones are generally good enough to hold a toothbrush upright when upside-down with a hole in the bottom. I made the mistake once of not bringing blister care. Of course I got a blister. I was able to get moleskin sheets at the hotel gift shop, I also needed a way to cut it into a better shape. The only scissors were a cheap tiny pair in a sewing kit. If you have never cut moleskin, it's a tough, heavy material. Those scissors were not really up to the task, but I made it work. Lesson learned. I bring moleskin and trauma shears now. I started bringing liquid hand soap as well. My hands just never felt clean using the facial bar soap disney provides. It feels like trying to clean something with lotion. I've switched to crocs for full time wear. I brought sneakers with me, didn't end up wearing them once. I just wish I could get some of the disney designs in my size. But wearing size 16, I know that won't happen. For my next trip, I plan on adding a collapsible cup. I use a large 40oz water bottle. Since bottle fillers are few and far between, it's nearly impossible to fully fill a bottle that large at a regular water fountain. I can use the cup to fully top off the bottle. The big packing thing I really want to solve is how to quickly transition from flight mode to park mode. Or vise versa. I usually arrive before my room is ready, and leave in the late evening, so start and end with my main luggage stored by bell service. I don't like being that person in the corner of the lobby, suitcase open repacking my backpack from airplane mode to park mode. Or back the other way.
Love the Toothbrush cup idea. And yes scissors on KT tape is a must too. For the backpack...I actually pack my bag ready for the theme parks and pack the airplane stuff in a smaller bag, but inside the backpack. Then all I do is take out that airplane bag and I'm set. I also transition into socks, no socks, and short vs. pants. All weather depending. Thanks for watching/commenting!
My family knows that I’m in charge of hand soap for all of the bathrooms (usually beach trip, but we leave for Disney Sunday!!!) I have to have hand soap on every trip lol! Also, a few years back (before stores closed early) I woke up at 4am with the worst indigestion. Had to drive to a gas station to get tums. If they didn’t have them I was looking at a 20 min trip to Walmart! So now antacids are in our must pack list too. Thank you for all of the Disney videos. 9 of us are going and it will be my parents, brother, and me that haven’t been since early 90’s, my husband, sister in law, and niece and nephews that have never been. I’m the planner in charge of all the things, so your videos have been very helpful!
Definitely never even thought about packing a toothbrush holder. We all just put them back in our toiletry bags or set them in one of the cups that most hotels provide for water.
Could you do a video on Rider swap? Is it different when you use it with Genie? Can you use it on haunted Mansion? Not a whole lot of information on how to acquire Rider swap, and where all it can be used at.
I have talked about it before, not in its own video however (good idea). But I have Rider Swap & Genie+ Tips in this video - th-cam.com/video/eY2cRmHj0tM/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching/commenting!
This might be my favorite video of all time. Also, we are now best friends. 😂 Toothbrush holder - GENIUS! Love it! I pack pillows, hand soap, my own cleaning wipes… so many things. And so many of the same things as you! Great video!!!
I loved your video some of the items I didn't think about. I am packing hand soap but I think I will have to leave the rest there because I don't think I can pack it without getting all over my suitcase. (It came all sealed when it was shipped from Target) I do pack my fake jewelry just in case something happens to it.
I return the pump to closed position and tape up so it doesn't leak. But if you used most of it, you can easily toss. I purposely get the $1 size soap for that reason. Thanks for watching/commenting!
@@MermaidNinaTravels Thank you so much Nina! We are going to Disney World Jan 29-Feb 4 on a girls trip and watching your video to prepare and I love all of them. Also trying to organize shirts and ears and yours are always beautiful! The ones I’ve gotten from the parks hurt so bad so I’m trying to find more comfy ones.
I did not even consider packing a fake wedding ring. What a fantastic tip! I will definitely be doing this for our upcoming trip.
Awesome, glad you liked that tip. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Hand soap sheets for the win! Easy to carry and use.
YES! Those would be easy! Thanks for watching/commenting!

WOW, yay! Thanks for sharing :) Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thanks for the tips! A collapsible mesh hamper and hand soap are now added to my list!
Wonderful! Thanks for watching/commenting!
When I watched this right after you held up the paper towels a paper towel commercial came on 😂. I love my to the knee compression socks!

On every vacation I alway pack my hand soap….even before Covid! I’m a hand washing freak🫣🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤣
I did too, mostly because the kids wash better with liquid soap than a bar. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Yes Nina, soap is a must
LOL. Thanks for watching/commenting!
You should put this on a PDF. Do you have something like that? This would be so helpful to help prepare.
I do, its something I can send to my clients. Perhaps I need to come up with a way to send it to fans. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Ours always seem to be laying on the counter, lol. So apparently we need a better system. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Easy toothbrush holder is an upside down paper cup from the hotel poked through or upright plastic one ☻

Perhaps Ebay. They sell out fast. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Nina, are small flashlights allowed at Disney Parks?
Not sure as we use them at the resorts but not sure why they wouldn't be. You can check the policy on the app. Thanks for watching/commenting!
You can take food into the part?!
YEP! Thanks for watching/commenting!
I put my toothbrush in my collapsible cup.

Our toothbrushes are never in the bathroom. Specially if there’s a toilet in that room. Way to gross.
It is gross. In the Hotel they are in the sink area...but still close to the toilet. Thanks for watching/commenting!
