Thanks for the break down of memory maker! 😀 My husband and I are going for the first time together this September and we added it when booking. Glad we did! Been going down the rabbit hole watching Disney vids and have seen several of yours by now☺️ thanks for all your tips!
Hello. Could you please make a video of the differences between Memory Maker and Photopass because one of the included benefits of Genie+ is "Download complimentary digital downloads of all of your Disney PhotoPass photos for each day you have the Genie+ service. Yes, that includes both attraction photos and photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers." so I am really confused why I would need Memory Maker if I have Genie+
Genie+ only include ride photos, NOT photopass photographer images per Disney World. Disneyland is different. So you need Memory Maker for WDW. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Such a helpful video, thanks a lot. I will be visiting Orlando from the UK next weekend (provided the hurricane has long since gone!) and already have Memory Maker included on my ticket and thought it was some pointless freebie. Now I realise how useful it will be and I am fully schooled in it! Ooh and thanks for highlighting the 45 day limit before they get deleted, I would have maybe forgotten to download if it wasn’t for your reminder! 😂
We always get the Memory Maker, if we don’t I’m not in any pictures! 😂 Some trips we get tons of photos taken. Other trips (like our last one 🤢) we ended up with less than 50 after a week on property. It’s always worth it to us!
So I bought the one day photo pass because we were supposed to be there only one day now it’s a three days so do our know if you can call n upgrade to the whole trip one?
I dont think you got into this, but if I am going with adult children that want to break off from the rest of our group and I purchased memory maker, will they be able to get their photos downloaded they had taken too if they are linked to my Disney account with their magic bands?
I might have touched on this BUT they can take the pictures without out but ONLY you can download unless they have your log-in & password. But my kids often take pictures without me, then I get surprised later in the day when I see them in the app. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I love your videos! Does the "lead" ticket holder who purchased Memory Maker have to be the one to scan for the photos to link or can anyone in their party scan?
Now I need to find out where the pictures are taken at. I see you had one holding the 50. it would be neat to have that one. We are going to Disney World to celebrate both of our son's graduations. My husband turned 50 in October just like Disney World did. Our 25th wedding anniversary was June 14th so we are pretty much celebrating our anniversary there also. I enjoy your videos and I always love your hair. Thanks for the tips!
Awesome! I did take the 50th picture near the Bathrooms by Pinocchio's Village Haus but it may have only been for the 50th Anniversary as I was there on Oct 1st. Thanks for watching/commenting!
awesome! i leave june 5th! and i got a 'capture the moment' package along with memory maker for my family ... just cuz it sounded like a fun experience !
@@MermaidNinaTravelsI purchased my memory maker for my trip in September. Weird thing is it doesn’t show up in my passes and tickets. I’m hoping it will appear when I go to use it on my trip which is weird that it didn’t ask me the dates I’ll be at the parks.
Hi! Do I need to buy the memory maker before my trip? Can I take photos and decide if I love enough of them to purchase the memory maker after as opposed to purchasing individual ones? The photos link to my account even if I don’t have the memory maker purchased before the trip right?
You can, but Memory Maker will be more $$ at that point. To gain the cheaper price, you have to purchase early. All photos will link to account. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I would call Disney on this. I always add to my clients FIRST reservation on Split Stay. And I discuss activation in the video. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thanks for the helpful information. I was also on the fence though if your going for multiple days seems nice to have someone else who trained to take photo with a nice camera and actually be in it.
Hi Nina, going to WDW for the first time in 8 days! Yay. I have been binging your videos since January and went from being totally overwhelmed to feeling like an absolute expert thanks to you. My question is about tipping, are we expected to tip each photographer?
Sorry. one more question, do I NEED a magicband in order to get the pictures and videos from the rides that offer them? Or will the cards work just as well once I scan in for the rides?
Hi Nina I have been watching your videos and have been very helpful for our upcoming vacations... my question is if we purchase the memory maker for all of our party (8) two families.... do we all need to be at the same park the same day for it to work. Or can some be let's say at magic Kingdom while other are at animal kingdom? Does this still works?
I got advanced purchase on the site since it’s not on the app (like you said) so when I log in on the site I see it’s there but there’s no indication on the app it’s there. Im paranoid there’s some disconnect and I won’t get mg pictures
Once you purchase...it doesn't really show up until you activate it...which is downloading a picture. All should be fine, but if it isn't just call the Memory Maker number. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thank you for the Tipps☺️ so if I buy the magic photo pass once I have them for the whole trip (so it includes 30 days). Did i understand this right?☺️ Thank you and best greetings from Germany☺️
Yes, it lasts your entire trip basically. It should tell you in the fine print when you purchase it, you just have to make sure you download ALL pictures before they expire. Thanks for watching/commenting!
what are the resolution of the pictures (how many megapixels?) and videos (4k, 1080P?) when you download them to your computer? Are the pictures and video high enough of a resolution to print very large poster size?
Each is different but about 5500x3700, 2-3 MB. Not sure if you can blow up to poster, but I have printed a few to 8x10. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I actually just film a video chatting about that (comes out Sunday). BUT also have this - Rider Swap info with Genie+ - th-cam.com/video/eY2cRmHj0tM/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thanks for your video, very helpful!! It’s kinda overwhelming planning a 1 day trip to magic kingdom, I wanna make sure my husband and I cover everything!❤️
I have never tested the 45 day mark, but I think its from either the picture date or the day your trip started. You can call Memory Maker to be sure. I always download a week within coming home.
If you log into your Disney account via Internet instead of the app, it will show the $169 price. I am also the main photographer in my family and I will purchase Memory Maker. Thanks for all the great tips!!!!
Great to hear that. There are many times when the APP is different from the Website, guess I should have checked, lol. Thanks and thanks for watching/commenting!
Is it possible to NOT get memory maker but just buy a couple of pictures? I may want a ride picture, and maybe a picture of me in front of the castle and one or two with characters, that’s it. (I am perfectly fine with getting fewer shots if the bill is going to be crazy with that many.)
Last year I went with my daughter and we only went for 2 days. Epcot and mk. Characters were not doing meet and greets so we did not do memory maker. My first time to ever go so I didn’t think we would use it especially since characters were not meeting guests. I ended up buying 2 ride pictures to the tune of like $19.95 each (5x7) so memory maker is well worth the price! Going this year and memory maker is already ordered for the trip!
So if you only go to the parks for 2 days and you want both days - you should just buy both days individually since that is cheaper than the whole trip pass
@@stephanievitale1482 that is the same problem I have. My trip isn’t until the 20th.. so I just activate it once I get there?
