Add having kids to the mix and keeping up with continued learning become more of a challenge. Thanks for being real about the expectations. I love my work as an analyst, but it’s tough some days.
Thank you this really help me decide!!.. I don't want to do this 😂😂😂😂 I am an introvert trying to get away from humans 😢 I just need a great work from home career😫
Great video. Question: Would strengthening one’s math skills be beneficial as a data analysis? Is calculus beneficial for this profession? Btw: I loved the example you used in this video.
Calculus isn’t needed like 99% of the time. Maths and statistics are definitely beneficial as you’ll need to develop KPIs and different metrics to convert the raw data into actionable insights
No need to leave main job.. You need to consider a data set example from your existing domain and make a transition.. For example, I have seen doctors are working as Data Analysts who are analysing the data related to Healthcare industry..
Yes. It's hard.. Need lot of hardwork on LinkedIn activities.. Kindly connect with more and more data people there.. They keep sharing the things which may guide you to reach first job.
Hi Agatha, i am having 10 years of experience as a Quality analyst in banking, can you please help me to suggest if self-study or doing a master's is a good option
Hey! If this is a complete career shift and you like structured leaning and networking then grad school is a good idea. But if you are good at self study and have the time to commit then i would say go the self study route

I think this is a saturated field. Well in Europe it is the case
Beginner level is saturated…intermediate and advanced are in high demand. Advanced PowerBI and Cloud computing skills are in more demand.
good
thanks so much!
